Chapter Eight

Can: "oh my god......" mark looked at me

Mark: "what? What happened??"

Can: "umm, there's someone I didn't expect to see here" I tried to duck infront of mark

Mark: "who??" he looked back and saw tin heading this way

Mark: "wait, tin?" I nodded

I looked to the side and saw mark's mom heading this way too

I quickly got up but turned my back towards Tin's direction

Mark's mother: "hey guys, so this is tin, i'm sure you know him mark, but I don't think your boyfriend does"

Mark's mother: "why don't you greet each other?" I stood up and reluctantly turned around

I saw tin's face go white for a split second with his eyes wide, then he quickly went back to his normal harsh expression

Mark: "I think they do know each other"

Can: "uh, well during school I've see-" I was about to finish but I got interrupted

Tin: "no, we don't know each other, it's our first time meeting"

'What?'

Mark's mother: "well, as you know, this is Mark's boyfriend, can, and I suppose this beautiful young lady is your girlfriend?"

Tin pause and looked at me for a second then continued

Tin: "yes, she is" even the girl seemed taken aback herself then she smiled

'The hell? I didn't even know he had a girlfriend'

Mark's mother: "oh great! Then why don't you all get to know each other?" mark nodded then she started to walk away

Tin and the girl sat in front of us

Girl: "well? What are your names? Mark and?"

Can: "oh, my name is can, nice to meet you" I looked at tin a got spooked because he was staring at me

Girl: "um, well so you two are together?"

I stayed quiet but mark spoke up

Mark: "yeah"

Girl: "and how long have you guys been together for?"

Can: "uh-"

Mark: "about a month"

Girl: "sorry that I'm asking so many questions, I just think you guys look cute together ^.^" she said with an innocent smile

Mark: "it's okay, you can ask what you want to know"Girl: "where did you guys meet"

Mark: "funnily enough we met at a convinience store in his neighborhood"

Girl: "oh! He doesn't live around here?"

Mark: "no he lives around around the mertapon district"

Girl: "oh! Me and tin got to a college around there"

Mark: "yeah, me and can go to the same one that you guys go to"

After a torturing 15 minutes of conversation mark took took me to get some food

Mark: "so what's up with you and tin? You seemed tense?"

Can: "it's complicated"

Mark: "did he hurt you?"

Can: "what? No, no he didn't, it's just weird"

Mark: "what's weird about it?" I sighed

Can: "I don't know if I should be telling you or not, you know......since i'm supposed to pretend to be your boyfriend"

Mark: "it's fine. You can tell me, it's not like I'll be hurt or anything" he chuckled

Can: "well, he's always cold to everyon including me, and I went to his house almost a week ago to run some errands for him and that's also the day I bumped into you, but I felt things were getting better that day but when he dropped me off at home he was fine at first then after he turned cold, and after that he hasn't called me, we're not really friends but were not so far apart to be called acquaintanances, so it's complicated" he seemed overwhelmed after I told him all that

Mark: "that's a lot to take in, but why are you so concerned with him if you guys aren't friends?"

Can: "I just......I honestly don't know but he makes me feel somewhat attached to him, I mean sure, he's pretty rude but that day he showed me a part of himself I didn't even know existed"

Mark: "look, I get it, but even if you have feelings for him, you have to get over him because I-"

Can: "they're coming this way" he looked back and saw the girl and tin

Can: "I'm gonna go to the bathroom" he hesitated but ended up nodding

Mark: "don't take took long" I rushed outside and found the bathroom

I stood against the wall and sighed

'Just what are you doing to me, to feel this way? Why do I still keep thinking of you?'

Can: "I don't get why he even brought that girl with him if he doesn't even seem interested in her'

At the worst moment possible the door opened

I looked over and saw the person I least wanted to see right now

Tin walked inside and stood in front of the mirror

Tin: "You didn't tell me you had a boyfriend" I felt the same weird feeling I felt when I saw him with the girl

Can : "and why should I? You have your girlfriend too" tin looked over at me and back at the mirror

Tin: "she's not my girlfriend, she's some girl my father picked out for me, after today I'm gonna dump her" I scoffed

Tin: "what?"

Can: "see? This is why you're like this, this is why you're alone, you're so cold and harsh towards everyone without considering how they'll feel"

Tin: "is that why you were disgusted with me that day?"

Can: "what? What are you talking about??"

Tin: "Don't you remember saying 'hell no, why would I date someone like him?' when your mom asked if I was your boyfriend?"

Can: "tin- what- I was tired that day, I didn't even think of what I said"

Tin: "yet you still said it" 'you know what, I'm not gonna deal with this'

I walked out and bumped into someone

It looked up and saw the girl

Can: "oh, sorry"

Girl: "yeah, yeah, keep acting all innocent"

Can: "excuse me?" I looked at her weirdly

Girl: "you heard me, stay in your lane"

Girl: "you think I didn't see you that day at school? You kept looking at me and tin"

Can: "I just happened to be there-" I didn't get why she giving attitude because during the conversation she seemed nice and genuine

Girl: "mhm, I don't like the way he looks at you, you should stay with your little boyfriend and stop bothering mine"

Can: "okay, I'm just gonna go...." 'the hell is wrong with this girl?

Just as I was walking away I felt her push me

Girl: "you think you can just ignore me like that??" I obviously wasn't gonna hit a girl but she was irritating

Can: "can you stop being so obsessed? He's gonna drop you just like every one of his past girls!!" 'I don't want conflict but she's really pushing my buttons

She raised her hand, about to slap me so I instinctively flinched but I waited a couple seconds and nothing happened

Can: "???" I opened my eyes and saw someone holding her hand

"How dare you?"
