...

......?

'What the fuck..?'

It was sunset, the sky was a mix of purple, orange, and pink. Anne sat up, eyebrow raised. She turned her head to look at her surroundings. She was in a calm, peaceful field with white leaves all around her. She stood up from the grass, still looking around, confused in what to do with herself. But then, she felt this weird feeling. Like something was about to happen.

Something just didn't feel right. She always knew to trust her gut, she knew when certain things were about to happen and she also knew when danger was headed her way.

And right now, she got that gut feeling that danger was headed her way.

She knew it was a dream, it had to be.

Oh god, it's another one of these weird ones.

She didn't know what to do, she was in a huge field and she felt like if she ran it would be never ending. She tightly shut her eyes, hoping to calm the feeling in her gut down. Instead, her expectations were wrong. She didn't calm down the gut feeling in her stomach, instead it grew even worse.

Anne dropped down to her knees in fear, keeping her eyes shut for dear life. To be honest, it really want that serious. Any other person would just think she was being overdramatic. But the overthinking got to her and she was actually starting to become more afraid by each second that passed. It's like when you're washing your hair in the shower and think there's a demon in the other side of the curtain, except this was different.

After being on her knees and having her eyes shut tightly for what felt like moments, Anne's gut feeling had finally calmed down. She had gained the courage to slowly open her eyes back up.

Except this time, she was in a completely different place.

She saw herself.. except she looked wrong, in all sorts of ways.

She was in a pond. She she slowly turned her head side to side to look at her surroundings. She didn't like what she saw, at all. She was surrounded by a bunch of people crying. Frogs, toads, newts, and... humans. Her two friends looked devastated.

But what was going on?

Most of all she noticed Sprig. She, herself, was in Sprig Plantar's arms. He didn't really look so good also. He had tears in his eyes and he took hold of one of Anne's hands.

"Cmon Anne, you'll be okay..." Sprig assured.

He looked completely desperate. Clueless on what to do.

She glared at Sasha and Marcy, they were sniffling with tears falling down their eyes. So we're Polly and Hop-Pop. What the heck? What's up with them? And what's up with herself? She had never wanted to see them in such a state.

It just wasn't like them.

"Don't cry Sprig, it's okay. Saving this world was the best decision I've ever made. My only regret is... I never got to see love choice two." She said.

What happened next made her heart drop to her stomach. She, herself began fading. She began fading into a bunch of white leaves. The leaves floated into the air as she faded away, everyone looking up at the floating leaves in tears as she drifted away from them.

Yup, danger most definitely did head her way.

It didn't last long though. Anne jolted awake at the sound of loud beeping filling her ears. She shot up from her bed, breathing heavily and heart beating out of her chest.

'What was that about...?'

She placed her hand over her chest and felt her speeding heart rate. It then calmed down when she looked around to see a familiar looking room when her blurry eyesight cleared up.

Her bedroom.

She turned her head when she heard her bedroom door open. She was met with her mother standing in the doorway looking concerned with her eyebrow raised.

"Are you okay? I came here to check if you were awake for school but you don't look so good. You look really sweaty and you're breathing pretty hard. You good?" Asked Mrs. Boonchuy.

"U-Uh... I'm good, it was just a small nightmare that's all. No need to worry so much." Anne assured.

Her mother then raised her eyebrow one last time before shutting the door.

Anne let out a big sigh before standing up from her bed. She walked over to her vanity and stared at her reflection in the mirror. Her hair was messy and she had dark circles under her eyes. She just looked like hell in general, she had sweat all over her body and she looked like she had just gotten out of a sauna.

She'd definitely need a shower.

Her eyes explored her features and a big frown formed on her face.

'I look like a fucking wreck.'

'Why does Sasha like me? She even liked told me she liked me when we were amphibia. How did she like such a slob like me? I was just a scruffy little girl with one shoe and leaves in my hair. She thinks of me as a hero, but no. For every heroic deed I make a hundred dumb mistakes.'

'Why doesn't she just go date Heather instead? Besides, she's way prettier than me and she's more girly. Plus she takes better care of herself. She's rich and doesn't look and act like a boy. I'm pretty sure Sasha would want someone girly and pretty like Heather.'

'Fuck that bitch. She doesn't deserve someone like Sasha. Sasha's kind and confident, meanwhile Heather's just a bratty, stuck up bitch.'

'I hate it when she acts a sweet in front of Sasha. It's not like Sasha doesn't already know about her bitchy attitude. I hate her fake personality. She's always acting like an angel when her eye catches Sasha. I hate everything about her.'

'Sometimes I wish she were dead.'

'Why does Heather get that polyester sweater and not me or Marcy? Heather doesn't deserve her love, she's heartless.'

Anne's thoughts were interrupted when she heard a familiar voice shouting from downstairs.

"Hurry up Anne! You'll be late for school and your breakfast will get cold!" Her mother shouted.

"I'll be there!" Anne responded.

Welp, time for that shower.

......

Once Anne had gotten out of the shower, she headed downstairs to the dining room and was met with a freshly cooked breakfast sitting on the table waiting for her.

She turned her head to her mother, who was fixing her husbands clothes for a meeting he had. "Wow mom! You really outdone yourself!"

"No problem sweetie. I will always make sure everything is perfect for my girl." Mrs. Boonchuy grinned.

Anne grinned back at her mother reached her arm out to get the cup of apple juice sitting in front of her. The glass was still wet from her mother cleaning it before pouring the apple juice in it so the glass had completely slipped out of her grip.

The apple juice spilled all over her mothers shirt and Mrs. Boonchuy then gasped in surprise.

"Oh my god! Mom, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to spill the juice on your clothes!" Anne apologized.

"It's okay sweetie, I've had worse messes on me. I'm a mother after all." Mrs. Boonchuy then side-eyed her husband who was standing in the corner of the room with a smirk in her face. He noticed his wife's gesture and his cheeks turned dark red as he looked away in embarrassment.

Anne stared at her mother in disgust before chuckling and grabbing a nearby napkin to wipe up the juice.

It was just a normal day in the Boonchuy household. Sprig was being chased by domino for getting curious and pulling her tail, Polly was sitting on the couch watching "Love Choice 2" on Anne's phone, and Hop-Pop was sitting next to Polly drinking a cup of coffee.

Just another day!

......

Anne had arrived at school and walked down the hall while waving to her girlfriend and friend with a grin on her face. Once she approached them, she pulled the both of them into a big hug. "Hey guys! I have some very good news for you guys!"

"Hey Anne, what is it you want to tell us?" Sasha asked.

"So, as you guys already know yesterday I came out to both of my parents. I fell asleep last night so I forgot to mention how it went to you guys." Anne said.

"Spill the beans already scoob!" Marcy shouted, playfully.

Anne let out a chuckle. "Okay okay.. So yesterday I came out to both of them and... I actually got a positive outcome! They were really supportive and my mom told me that she basically already knew which I didn't know how because I never gave her any clues." Anne said.

"Woooo! I'm so proud of you Anne! Not everyone can do that so I'm so happy you were brave enough to do it!" Marcy cheered, pulling Anne into a big hug and wrapping her arms around her neck.

Marcy then took hold of Anne's face and placed a small peck onto her cheek.

Anne felt a familiar heat rise to her cheeks as she placed her palm on the cheek that Marcy had just kissed. "Heheh... thank you for believing in me, I really appreciate it." Anne grinned.

"I'm also very proud of you too. When I came out to my parents I almost complete gave up so I'm very happy that you didn't do what I planned on doing. I'm so proud of you for bringing yourself to come out to your parents." Sasha complimented.

"Thanks so much you guys. I'm so grateful to have people like you in my life." Anne thanked.

Anne then once again pulled the both of them into a big hug. Both of them patting her back as she did it.

The three pulled away from the contact when the heard the bell ring, which meant it was time for class.

"Let's go guys, before we get a scolding from the teacher." Anne said.

As they walked to their classroom, Anne noticed a familiar red headed girl glaring at them from behind a corner with a furious look on her face. Instead of ignoring the girl, Anne rolled her eyes at her to piss off the girl even more. She then smirked and walked into her classroom.

...During lunch

The three of them were sitting at the lunch table eating their food. Anne was minding her own business when she felt a familiar hand take hold of hers. She flinched at the sudden contact, turning her head to look at the person next to her as a familiar heat rose to her cheeks.

Marcy.

Marcy had never done things like this. Why was she so affectionate lately? She was constantly holding Anne or Sasha's hand or kissing them on the cheek. It just wasn't like her. Normally it was Anne and Sasha doing that to tease her, but this time it was the other way around. Anne had never expected a shy little cutie like Marcy to start teasing her.

Anne stared at Marcy for a few moments, in disbelief of the sudden gesture. Marcy was acting like she didn't know what she was doing. Meanwhile it took everything in her to not let out a smirk at the flustered girl.

Marcy's flirting was interrupted when a familiar redhead approached the table they were sitting at. Sasha was in her own world, she was staring into space while looking somewhere else so she was completely unaware of the girls presence.

I'm guessing Heather finally had enough.

"I already warned you, bitch. I told you to stay away from my Sasha but you just don't listen do you? You need to learn some manners and know when to let go of certain things! Sasha isn't yours, she's mine and I will keep her away from you, forever. Besides, she'd never love a nerdy ugly bitch like you." Heather insulted.

"Heather what's wrong with you? All I did was hug her earlier, it's not that serious. You act like I'm going to murder her or something, calm down it was just a hug." Marcy frowned.

"I don't care! I plan on making Sasha my girlfriend and future wife and you're ruining all my plans! I love Sasha so much and I am willing to do anything to keep desperate bitches like you away from her. Sasha will never love you. She will never love a nerdy bookworm like you. I'm gorgeous and rich, she'd like me way better than some nobody!" Heather teased.

The two girls conversation got so loud to the point where Anne had started to hear what they were talking about.

"Woah woah woah. Time out! That's no way to talk to someone. Marcy didn't do anything wrong, she was just minding her own business eating her food. There's no reason to be so cruel! You're insulting her like she's some nobody! She's human just like you, just because you like someone doesn't mean you get to treat other people like dog shit." Anne scolded.

"And for your information, she won't be your future girlfriend. She's already taken by someone and you're looking right at her!" She said.

She had said that last part a but quietly so that Marcy wouldn't hear.

"Why are you defending someone like her!? She's a monster! That bitch broke my nose! Are you sure you want to be friends with someone who would her people with no hesitation!?" Heather shouted.

"First of all, yes. I'd be friends with someone that puts their hands on you because you're a total bitch. Second of all, Marcy didn't break your nose at all. There's literally proof, the video is all over the internet. You don't get to call my friend all types of names just because you're obsessed with someone you wouldn't treat right. I wont allow it. You know you wouldn't treat Sasha right, you just like her because she's gorgeous and has a lot of money!"

"You can't just be mean to someone because they aren't like you. You literally have a whole friend group full of blonde boys and girls and you're a redhead! Those people are completely different from you and yet you only single out Marcy!?"

"She's done nothing to you besides punch you in the nose, embarrass you in front of a bunch of people, roast you in front of your friends, get you in trouble with the teachers and principal, and lie on you. That's all, it's really not that much!" Anne complained.

"You really need to change your ways, not cool dude."

"You idiot! You're dumb! You have a ton of bad grades and you're just an idiot with a fucked up life! No one would ever like you, you're ugly and you remind me of a boy!" Heather shouted.

Sasha snapped back into reality and turned around quickly, in shock at the sight in front of her.

Anne couldn't believe the words sprouting out of her rivals mouth. No wonder she got punched in the face and embarrassed in front of the whole school. Standing firm, Anne pursed her lips and looked in the direction of her two crushes.

"Stop." Anne growled. "You're making a complete fool of yourself Acosta. Picking on someone because of a crush? Can you not see the crowd your loud ass mouth brought upon?" Anne complained, glancing at the people around her staring.

"That bitch is nothing but a need and a whore!" Heather shouted, completely ready to fight Anne. "Her own father didn't want her."

Anne glanced at Marcy, who sunk down in her position.

Ouch, I just know that hurt.

Anne then but her bottom lip. Sure, Marcy and her father did have a fall out after she came out to him, but that was downright disrespectful of Heather to speak about that in front of a bunch of other teenagers. How dare Heather bring that up when it had nothing to do with her.

Taking a deep breath, Anne was mentally preparing herself for a war.

"Acosta, I could care less about what you think of me and Marcy when you clearly have a lot of loose screws. Hanging around those friends of yours made you even more stupid than you were before. And you were pretty darn stupid then." Anne taunted, placing her hand on her hip.

"Maybe you should have dropped dead then." Heather sneered.

Heather could feel the growing eyes of her supporters watching her like prey. She needed to create more pity. She needed to reel this conversation back to her.

"Why the fuck did you just have to show up to this school and ruin everything!" Heather shrieked as the pressure finally got to her.

Heather charged towards Anne, only for the trained girl to judo-flip the angered teenager. She then groaned out in pain.

Anne then let out a huge sigh and slowly shook her head in disappointment.

"Do your ever learn...?"

Anne was suddenly pushed out of the way and she turned her head to see that it was a teacher rushing to Heathers aid.

The girl was still on the floor groaning due to how much pain her back was in. The teacher turned back around at Anne, looking furious. "You! To the principals office!"

......Marcy and Sasha were waiting outside of the principals office for Anne at the end of the day while leaning on the wall.

"Ha, I never thought a softie like Anne was capable of kicking someone's ass like that. Makes me proud." Sasha chuckled.

Marcy also let out a small chuckle.

Marcy and Sasha heard the principals office door open and they both jumped up from the wall and was met with Anne who had appeared from behind the door.

"Hey Anne, how'd it go?" Sasha questioned.

"Yeah what happened? What'd they say?" Marcy also questioned.

"Surprisingly, it went pretty well. My claim that Heather was picking on us was backed up by a bunch of other students who were witnesses. They expelled Heather and I get no punishments because they labeled my physical actions as self defense." Anne explained.

"Woah that amazing! We finally won't have to deal with Heather anymore! God everything we went through with her was so annoying." Marcy cheered.

"Yeah! And the good thing about it is that my parents are planning on building a case against Heather and her parents for assault and attempted murder." Anne said.

"Heh, that's good to know and all, but why attempted murder?" Sasha asked.

"Because I'm pretty sure she would have tried to kill me if I hadn't judo-flipped the life out of her." Anne stated, rubbing the back of her neck.

Marcy then chuckled and took hold of both of their hands. "Let's get out of here scoob, and Sash."

They then began walking to the exit of the school.

Another thing forgotten..

Marcy hadn't got to put a letter in their locker due to how much shut went on..
