This is part of the actual story!

Maka's pov

Soul and I waved goodbye to Alex who was now leaving to go home. I was gonna miss him it was fun having him around.

Soul and I sat on the couch he was watching tv while I read a book. He looked over at me.

"Maka." Soul asked

"Yes?" I responded

"I think we would make pretty awesome parents together, don't you think?" He asked

"Yeah." I answered

And then Soul kneeled down in front of me.

"Maka Albarn, will you marry me?"

I blinked in shock.

"Of course!" I said hugging him tightly

Before I could stand up there was a knock at the door. Soul stood up taking my hand he opened the door. Took one look at the man standing there and then slammed the door and locked it pulling me into his room and locking the door behind us.

"Soul who was that?"

He had white hair the Souls and red eyes and was wearing a suit.

"It was my father." He said grimly

His expression darkened as the man spoke from the opposite side of the door.

"Soul let me in! Wes told me about you!" His father yelled

"That little rat." Soul mumbled

He gently opened the door and told me to stay put he looked out the window.

"Damn he's still here." Soul muttered

Soul came back into the room locking the door and took my hand and carefully opened the window he helped me onto the roof and climbed up after me.

"Soul what's going on?"

"Well Maka long story short, a few weeks ago my dad tried to get in touch with me. Ever since I was old enough to talk he has been trying to set me up with the same girl. From another musically talented family almost like an arranged marriage, and when Wes told him about us he must have gotten mad and came here to stop this."

We sat in silence as I processed everything Soul just told me. And then inside the house CRASH! The door had been opened Soul grabbed my hand as we jumped onto the dumpster below us and onto the sidewalk as Soul pulled me quickly into the alley and out of sight.

Soul was rapidly texting someone on his phone but I couldn't tell who.

"Where are we going?" I questioned

"You'll see." He answered
