New girl

Maka's pov

Soul and I were walking to class when Blackstar ran up behind us and jumped onto Souls back and then he screamed in our ears

"Hey did you guys here about the new girl?!"

What new girl? Soul and I asked in unison

"Her name is Ayana and she just came to the DWMA she's a Meister and she's looking for a partner" Blackstar answered

"Anyway I gotta find Tsubaki I don't want to be late again" he said running off

"New girl that sounds interesting"

*time skip*

"Ok students this is our new student Ayana" Stein said

"You can sit there" he said pointing to the empty seat next to Soul

She came and sat down and I saw out of the corner of my eye she glanced at Soul and had a smile plastered across her face until she looked down and saw Soul was holding my hand and then she got sad

For the rest of the day she tried to talk to Soul until we were walking and she came up behind us

"Hi I'm Ayana and I uhh... Just wanted to give you this" she said looking at her feet blushing she handed the note to Soul and ran off

Souls pov

Once Maka and I got home we sat down and decided to read the note

Dear Soul

I haven't known you for long but I've heard about you and I think your really cool and if your single...I am looking for a partner and I think it would be cool to have a scythe for a partner

I started to laugh it's pretty obvious I'm not single I said tossing the note over my head and into the trash can

"I can't believe she would give you a note when I'm standing right there holding your hand" Maka said

I kissed her forehead don't worry Maka your the only one I will ever love.

"Honestly if you ask me the girl seems weird how did she know your a Scythe and she already likes you after sitting next to you for an hour."

It definitely doesn't seem right but hey it doesn't matter.
