Chapter 14

Joshua pov.

4 am... I honestly could not sleep. Messages keep coming to me, eventually I blocked the number because it was not responding when I asked them who they are. I looked outside the window as Dk snuggled close to me. I looked at him and removed some of the hairs in his face. How can someone so close to me like this even lie to my face? Deceive me? He's literally an angel from heaven sent to me.

"Hey Kyeom... wanna head outside?" I slowly wake Dk up beside me. Yup he slept in our room again. He told me that Kwan left him alone and also went to his father and Vernon's room. They are too clingy... well maybe us too.

"What time is it?" He asked.

"It's a little over 5 past 4 am..." I said as I looked at my watch.

"Ughhhhhhhhh... Too earlyyyyyyy... and I'm supposed to be mad at you right nowwww...." He squirmed and wiggled beside me. This doesn't feel like mad. I almost chuckled at him but I stayed and just smiled. I don't wanna anger him further.

"I know.. it's so annoying being me sometimes... I don't know why you even like me." I jokingly answered him and then he finally opened his eyes. Still sleepy but awake.

"I don't know why too. But I like you so damn much" He answered back. He's too cute honestly.

"Okey then.. do you like me more than angry at me?" I asked him and he literally thought about it. In my face and I smiled.

"Maybe 60-40?" He replied and I chuckled.

"Okey then... I'll take that. But first.. stand up:.. let's go take a walk on the beach." I asked him. He nodded and I kissed him on the forehead. Cute. He made me pull him up from bed and literally dress him myself.

After he grabbed his jacket, and put on his beanie with his name on it. I waited for him outside. It was still a little dark and a little chilly too.

"What's with the gloves and spoon?" I asked him as he walked outside. He's hungry? I laughed at him.

"What? My hands are cold and the spoon is just for emergencies." He told me and I smiled.

"I can just hold your hands." I suggested and He laughed this time.

"Your hands are colder than me!" He complained and I just grabbed him despite his complains and held his hands.

We walked together to the beach for a little over an hour talking about random things and then took our slippers off as we were near the water.

It was a little warm already since there was a little sun peaking so we ditched our jackets and walked barefoot on the water this time.

"Oh?" He exclaimed and I looked at him as he place his foot on the water.

"Not cold right?" I asked him and he nodded.

"It's not.. it's warm and feels so nice." He said as he grabbed me and we are now both soaking our foot on the beach, holding hands.

"So you're not angry about Wawa's post anymore?" I asked him and his expression changed right away.

"I'm not mad. I'm just annoyed that you're on her story. I know she just took a photo out of nowhere but it sucks. You're supposed to be aware of surroundings all the time. You might be in dangerous situations." He said as he kicked a little water with his foot showing how annoyed he is.

"She took the photo, I had no idea." I told him and he looked at me.

"Exactly my point. You didn't even see her take a picture of you. Are you serious?" He asked me and I just smiler at him.

"Just don't hang out with her." He added.

"Well she's not here anymore isn't she?" I said and his expression changed again. He avoided eye contact and then let my hands go and ran. How random. He's definitely still mad.

Then there it was again. Another text.. from another number.

"Don't be fooled. Once a liar always a liar." It said. I looked at it one more time and decided to delete it. I hate the context of it all. Does dk have any more enemies?!? Why are they doing this?!?

He played by the beach for a while and then I sat down on the sand. I placed my jacket beside me just so he can sit comfortably. I took a couple pictures of him and sent them to my brother. Then I could see him walking towards me with his hands holding unto something.

"What's that?" I asked him.

"It's a jellyfish." He said and then showed me his hands. I panicked for a second because what if it stings?!

"Is that even safe?" I asked him and he nodded confidently.

"He's a buddy now. Let me get some container." He said as he run up to the restaurant. It was already open. People were already starting to wake up because some of them hung out on the beach too.

I decided to just follow dk and head on to the restaurant too. As soon as I entered Dk was already sat with Hao.

"How are you awake already?" I asked him.

"Hoshi kept on pushing me to eat." Hao said but you can see in his eyes he was happy eating with Jun.

"You are lucky to have a husband like Jun here." Hoshi said to Hao and he just nodded and agreed right away after stuffing his mouth with pancakes.

"I am luckier." Jun said. Hao rolled his eyes at him and hoshi laughed.

"Aren't they entertainingly annoying ?" Hoshi asked as we sat down beside them.

"You're just jealous Woozi isn't here." Joshua joked and then Hoshi glared at both of us.

"let's invite this Woozi then." Jeonghan suddenly said and made us look back at him. He was behind our booth but he was obviously eavesdropping. Cheol was eating silently and saluted us for greeting as Jeonghan literally climb the chairs to sit next to me. Cheol followed a little while and scooted beside us.

"Okey we are officially crowded." Hoshi said.

"Hi guys!" Kwan suddenly greeted us.

"Ofcourse they would come too." He said and we laughed at him.

"Okey just so you know!! I will soon ask out Woozi so that we can flaunt our relationship to you guys too! Seriously?!? It's just annoying how everyone has partners here." He said as he crossed his arms.

"Oh we all do? How sad for you." Hao said as Jun kissed him on the cheek since he had to work and went away.

I looked at Dk who is busy enjoying the pancakes in Hoshi's plate. Look at him looking so innocent and goofy. This guy is an open book, I will never doubt him.

"What?" Dk caught me looking and asked.

"Nothing." I said and he continued eating. I excused myself for a bit and without me noticing Hao was behind me as I looked at the beach.

"What's wrong?" He suddenly asked.

"Just.. some things in my mind." I said and he looked at me and placed his arms around my shoulder..

"Is this about Dk? You only look like that when you're worried about something." He said.

"Partly? Actually I have no idea. Here I am overthinking about silly texts that have no proof whatsoever." I honestly said.

"What texts?" He asked.

"I'll show you but you can't say anything. To anyone. Especially to Dk." I said to him. Seriously I was dying to tell someone.

"Dude. Have I ever failed you?" He asked me confidently and I smiled and showed him the texts. He nodded and all as he grabbef my phone and scroll through them.

"And you have no idea who this guy/girl is?" He asked.

"No. But it's weird that they know me. And it feels lile they are desperate for me to break things up with Dk." I told him and he looked at me.

"That's crazy. You guys are perfect for each other. I want to gag everytime I see you guys but it.'s actually pretty cute." He said and I looked at him weirdly.

"Right? And Dk's so .. you know.. Dk! I don't know what to say." I said honestly.

"Maybe someone's just scamming you. Magbe it's Hoshi." Hao said and right on time Hoshi was beside us.

"I was wondering where you guys are?!? You left me with the couples ew." He said and Hao and I chuckled.

"Dude calm down." Hao said.

"We're just talking..." I told him.

"About?" He asked right away.

"About some stuff." I said.

"Come on dude. Tell me.." he begged.

"You're not gonna enjoy it." I told him and he looked at me straight in the eye.

"Dude just tell me. Have I ever failed to give you advice about any problem you have?" He asked and I looked at him, looked at Hao and then back to him.

"Honestly? Multiple times" I said and then Hao jumped in as well.

"Seriously questionable how good you are at giving bad advice." Hao said.

"Whatever Dude. This is a vacation. We need to enjoy. Turn off your phone. If you don't I'll throw it in the water." He said and I knew he meant that so I just chuckled and did what he said. He does take his advice seriously.

"Hey!!!" Dk suddenly tapped me from the back.

"Oh you're here? Aren,'t you hungry?" I asked sounding surprided.

"I wanna go to the photobooth." He said.

"Sure thing." I said and then we decided to invite the others. We took our photos first and then let everyone play with the phtoobooth. Everyone was pretty hyped up since it was still morning. Then as soon as the printer took out our photo, I grabbed it and gave one to Dk.

"Wow this is my favorite picture." He said as he pointed on the photo of us hugging. No one was inside the booth but us but I didn't dare to kiss him there. Though I wanted to.

"I like this one, the one whete your choking me." I said and he laughed.

"Not my intention. I wanted to have a cute photo." He said as he continued to look at the pictures.

"Every photo you're in, is cute. You don't need to make silly poses." I said and then I sqw him blushed. He brushed it off and grabbed the photo in my hand.

"I need your wallet." He suddenly asked.

"Why? Wanna buy something?" I asked confused but gave him my wallet anyway. He opened it and then placed the picture in the wallet.

"You don't keep pictures in your wallet?" He asked.

"Nope." I said popping the 'p' sound.

"Well then. I'm glad to be the first one in here." He said and then looked back at the guys behind us if they were looking and then kissed my cheek.

"You said no kissing.." I said and smirked.

"I made the rules, I can change it any time." He said and then walked away from the booth. He was still holding on to my wallet and I tried to get it back.

"Can I have my wallet now?" I asked him.

"Wait give me money." He joked and I laughed.

"I have no cash." I said and then I saw him stop his expression and cleared his throat. He looked at me and then back to the wallet. He suddenly went red, his ears were definitely red. He suddenly threw the wallet in my face and ran away covering his face.

"What? What the hell?" I asked as I picked up my wallet from the ground.

"Why do you even have that in there?!?" He suddenly shouted as he ran away. I take a look at my wallet and there it was my 3 year old condom. It's not something perverted, Jeonghan told ms it was for luck. I realized what was going on on his head right now.

"Dk! Why are you running away??" I said as I ran after him. I was laughing too but he was embarassed.

I finally caught up to him and grabbed his arms.

"Why are you running away. It's not like I'm not using it on you anyway" i jokingly say but he looked terrified. He looked at me and then wanted to say something and then looked as confused as a lost puppy.

"What?!?!?" He suddenly shouted.

"What?" I asked.

"On me?!?!?! Joshua! You pervert!" He said and ran away again. This time I just laughed at him and ran after him again he's just too cute.

"Dk I was joking!!!" I said to stop him from running. He was getting good at running away because of his embarassement.

"No!!!!" He said as he ran even faster. I tried my best to catch up to him and luckily my days in the gym has paid off when I caught him and tackled.him on the sand. We stumbled near the beach and then I pinned him down holding on to his arms.

He closed his eyes and turned his head to the side.

"No!!!!" He said again.

"Are you having a gay panic?" I asked and then laughed at him even more. I let go of him and laid next to him on the beach. Then I grabbed his hands and kissed him on the back of his hand. That's the only time he calmed down.

"I'm not gonna suggest something your're not ready yet. I want us to go on with our relationship in your pace. You know that right?" I said while facing him.

"Thank you." He said and smiled. Why is he so funny and crazy at teh same time. It's making my heart do backflips-

Then I helped him up and continued to hold his hands as we got back to the beach house. We were both enjoying the view and then I remembered his reaction earlier.

"You have dirty thoughts" I teased him and then he glared at me.

"Hey you're the one with the condom!" He defended himself.

"It's just for luck. Many poeple place condoms on their wallet. Jeonghan gave it to me." I said and he laughed.

Just as we were walking hand in hand, our boss was suddenly walking towards us. Dk immediately throw my hands away and took a step to the right just in increase distance between us.

"Hey! Are you guys enjoying yourself?" He suddenly asked as soon as he was in front of us.

"Yeah. How rich is our boss right?!?!" I jokingly asked and then he looked at me and smiled.

"Not as rich as Dk here though." He said and I looked at Dk who looked at me too. He's rich rich?

"Come on boss you must have have things to do here. Let us not stop you." Dk said as he prsctically pushed our boss out of the way which he readily did. He walked away and Dk toom my hands again and held it.

"What's that about? Embarassed that you're rich?" I asked him jokingly.

"It's my family's money not mine. I'm practically poor." He said but he was avoiding eye contact.

"Oh right... I've talked about my family and all with you but I have never heard about yours except for your brothers that is..," I wondered.

"I don't wanna talk about it for now." He said.

"Why? Come on don't be too modest. I'll still like you even if I knew things about you." I assured him.

"Next time." He said and I started tk jokingly push him to share. Maybe a bad move but I was really curious.

"Come on what's the big deal?" I said jokingly and even moved some of his hair away from his face.

"Can we just drop it?" He suddenly became serious.

"Okey" I said. It was a little awkward.

"Maybe next time. You know what I really want right now?" He said obviously changing the subject. As soon as he did that my mind thought about the messages earlier saying things like he's betraying me and all.. i spaced out a little but then Dk tapped me and brought me back to earth.

"Joshua are you upset?" He asked.

"No." I said.

"Sure?" He asked with a little concern. Not upset... just confused.

"You know what?" He suddenly said.

"What?" I asked.

"Let's go for a swim." He said and just took off his shirt and jumped to the beach. Well I guess we are swimming right now. I didn't ask any more questions and I was silent the whole time..not because I was angry. I was just not feeling the vibe he was giving me.

After a little dip in the water we both decided to dry ourselves.

"See you later." He said and I just nodded and didn't say anything. We went back to our rooms and then I took a quick shower to rinse the beach water in my hair.

As I was showering I heard Hao and Hoshi entered the room. I guess their back too.

"Joshua! We're going island hopping. Wanna come with?" Hoshi shouted while knocking on my door.

"We're going fishing." Hao added.

"Sure who's coming?" I asked.

"Just the two of us." He said and I thought about it. Maybe a little time away from Dk isn't that bad. So I agreed to go with them. As soon as I was out of the shower, I took my phone out to check if I recieved any messages..

And for sure there were messages..

He's just playing you.

It's all a game to him, you are just one of his playthings.

As soon as I saw the same messages again, I stopped reading them. These are just messing up with my brain.

"When do we go?" I asked.

"Now." They both said and then they just dragged me out and in the process I dropped my phone. Well I guess that's that. Maybe a sign for me to stop checking messages. I stopped then to pick up my phone but I noticed the screen cracked. Great.

"Just leave it there!" Hao said and I just nodded in defeat.

As we were riding the yatch, I thought about Dk. I didn't say anything to him, I'll just talk to him when I get back then. I don't think he would mind.

Dk pov.

"Oh? Why are you still here? Aren't you gonna go fishing with the guys?" Kwan said as he entered the room while I was getting ready and changing into new clothes.

"Fishing? Nobody told me about fishing?" I asked him and his face got confused.

"Oh? Could have sworn I heard Hoshi talking about that earlier in the photo booth." He said and just shrugged.

"They left already?" I asked.

"Yeah. I thought you were there." Kwan said.

"Oh well maybe they wanna hang out as a group anyway." I said since originally they were already a trio. I checked my messages and there was no chat or message from Joshua. Weird... maybe he is mad? Then  Kwan entered the bathroom to freshen up. I hate this I keep overthinking now that I'm alone here.

"What's up with your face? Why are you spacing out?" Vernon suddenly said as he entered the room nonchalantly and sat on the bed.

"What?" I asked.

"You look sad." He said.

"Me? Not really." I said confused.

"Oh maybe I was imagining things... maybe a little annoyed then" he said and I looked at him.

"How did you know?" I asked him after a long silence. He's not a talker.

"Well you're making the same face as Kwan when he doesn't get his way. He sulks a lot so it's bound for me to memorize this stuff. I say I'm pretty good at it." He bragged.

"I just... can I rant something pretty quick??? Kwan really is a dramatic friend so I need a more lowkey guy. You're perfect. Can you be that guy?" I asked him. I mean this is perfect.

"Sure fire away." He said.

"I think Joshua is mad at me and I'm annoyed because he is. I know I'm not being rational right now but this is how I feel and I feel like he's not respecting my boundaries. I mean he's just angry at me for not telling him what he asked earlier it's super annoying." I started the rant as expected Vernon was just listening..

"I mean... I'm not ready to share things about my life yet. Why is he being mad now? I mean I know he is because he didn't even say that he was going fishing. That's just annoying in my part. He told me we were gonna spend time here together but he goes and ran away." I said and Vernon chuckled.

"Hey you're laughing." I said and pouted.

"Is it possible that you're just thinking about this all wrong?" He added and I looked at him.

"What why? Did he tell you something?" I asked.

"Well, not really but I noticed him acting weird even before earlier. Given that I have just known him for a little while, he was not himself even last night." He said and I looked at him.

"But we were okey last night..." I said and Vernon looked at me.

"Yeah sure, you are.. but how about him. Sometimes it's hard for us to notice things even when they are right there in front of us." He said and this time I was impressed.

"Woah.. you just mentored me right now." I said and he chuckled.

"Well, I have experience." He said and winked.

"Ew." I said and he laughed even more.

"Well this is my first time." I said to him and he stopped laughing and looked at me to confirm.

"What?" I asked.

"First time dating a guy or dating at all?" He asked.

"First everything." I said and his jaw dropped.

"Woah.. for how many years??? Wow" He asked to further confirm.

"Yeah why?" I asked.

"Now I know." He said and he made a face like I can't understand but I know he wants to laugh at me but he's just stopping it. This guy really why did I even choose to rant at him.

"Are you making fun of me?" I asked him and he laughed.

"No. i'm just shocked that's all." He said with his hands up in the air. I tackled him into the bed and push a pillow in his face. He was still laughing below the pillow and then Kwan was done washing  and went out the room to see me murdering his boyfriend.

"What are you guys fighting about?" He asked and I looked at Vernon.

"Nothing.." he said while he pushed me aside and then kissed his boyfriend's cheek.

"Kwan I officially hate your boyfriend." I said.

"What why?" He asked confused.

"He just made fun of me because Joshua's my first boyfriend." I said and then Kwan widened his eyes and held on both my shoulder.

"So what?" Kwan said to Vernon and Vernon laughed.

"First. Relationship." He said over pronouncing his words.

"Really? Wow. This is a big deal." He said and I rolled my eyes. Great they are the same person.

"Come on it's not a big deal." I said but then got cut off.

"Wait! Wait wait! WAIT!!!" Kwan suddenly panicked.

"What?" I asked.

"So you're still a v?" He asked and this time I pushed Kwan in the bed to his boyfriend. They both stumbled on the bed.

"Is that even proper to ask someone that?" I asked fuming.

"No way!!! You are!" Kwan shouted.

"Come on you guys are just bullies! Don't tell anyone!" I said and jumped with them on the bed. I lay flat between them and then Kwan looked at me face to face. He placed his hands in my cheeks and we were face to face.

"Do you want lessons?" He asked with full seriousness and I was about to punch him. Vernon was just laughing beside me.

"Come on Kwan, stop torturing him. He's your hyung." Vernon joked and laughed even more. I pushed him out the bed and he rolled on the floor. I was a tomato at this point my ears and face are red.

"This is serious! Why are you laughing?!?" Kwan said. And seriously I was waiting for the lord to get me at this moment. Just take me already!1!!-!-!

We continued this uncomfortable conversation and by the end of it all I was scarred forever.  I can't unhear everything Kwan has said to me. His father was right to separate them. They are freaking dirty! And corrupting my brain. He talked about positions, freaking toys! Pillow and Techniques and everything over the rainbow. He even assumed I was the bottom! I mean I don't know! I haven't freaking tried it yet?!? AHHHHHHHHHH!

"Got it all?" Kwan said.

"I cannot un hear it all. Pleasee stop" I said to him and he chuckled.

"I don't think I can explain it even more detailed than that." He said proudly.

"I can't believe we wasted an hour and half for this." I said.

"It was a record." Vernon said.

"Why are you not even embarrassed?" I said while covering my face.

"It's normal when you've been in a relationship for a while. You get used to talks like that." Kwan said. Our relationship was just at the beginning... so I'm technically a toddler.

I just know that Joshua is as experienced as these two. Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhh kill me. ———————————————————-////

Meanwhile in the team HoshiHaoJoshua..

"What was that sound?!? I told you not to play around!" Hao shouted.

"Joshua!!!?!??" Hoshi shouted. And then soon Hao joined him.

"Joshua!!" Hao shouted at the sea.

"Fuck! He got thrown off the boat!" Hao shouted.

"Stop the boat right now!" Hoshi shouted.
