Jay🍑: Hey, Seul...

Seulgieee🥰🥰: ...hi

Jay🍑: Did you get home safe?

Seulgieee🥰🥰: You don't need to worry about me Jae

...

But yes, I'm home now

Jay🍑: And...is your brother cool as well?

Seulgieee🥰🥰: Why're u suddenly worrying abt my lil bro?

Jay🍑: Just...wanted to check up on him...

I didn't know u had a brother before u told me

And I know I've said this before...

But I'm really sorry for doing what I did...it was really unfair

And inconvenient for you...

And now, I just wanna help you out, Seul 🥺

Seulgieee🥰🥰: I can handle my lil bro on my own, Jae

And I already told you to stop apologizing....

Jay🍑: Oh...well, listen Seulgi, can I call you?

I have a lot to say to you actually...

Seulgieee🥰🥰: *sigh* If u must.

Seulgi answered the call she received a few seconds later.

"Seul...first off, there's loads I wanna tell you," Jaebum began, "and I just want you to listen for now, okay?"

"Sure..." she replied, fiddling with her sheet.

"I'm not trying to make excuses for what I did, but honestly, when you tutored me, I figured out 3 things." Jaebum said and Seulgi listened silently. "One: you're such a good teacher that stuff I actually didn't understand in class was made simpler with your explanations. For real though, I actually learned stuff I didn't get before because of you. Two: I immediately regretted faking my grades...not because I didn't want to be tutored by you, but because I knew I'd have to face the music eventually. Three: You're someone that I really can't let go...because..." Jaebum sighed and then mustered up the last bit of courage and pride he had left before blurting out, "Because I have feelings for you, Seulgi. And they're real."

Silently sitting in shock on the other end of the phone, Seulgi didn't realize she had frozen in place.

"I actually liked you even before tutoring began..." Jaebum added, but his voice much smaller. There was a silence again that Seulgi broke.

"Jaebum." The sound of his name gave him goosebumps. "I was quite hurt when you told me you faked your grades and...you know. And honestly, I believe I kinda overreacted as well. So...this is what I propose..."

Jaebum bit his lip and listened, just hoping that she wouldn't push him away.

"I think we should have a do-over," Seulgi said. "Let's forget everything we ever did to hurt each other...let's forgive each other and move on, because that's the mature thing to do."

Jaebum let out a breath he didn't know he'd been holding and beamed.

"I think that's an awesome idea," he replied, controlling his tone, but Seulgi could hear the content in his words. "Forgive and move on...can we start by going to Saturday's dance together?"

Seulgi grinned. "I would love that, Jae. I forgive you..." she replied.

Jaebum felt his heart soar as he smiled like an idiot with the phone pressed against his ear. "See you on Saturday," he said.

Suho and Irene were still at the school. It was getting close to 7 and the pair had just finished putting away everything from the stall.

The fair had been a success. The 20,000KRW target of money to raise had been surpassed and all the customers had been satisfied with the event.

Irene's legs ached, since she hadn't sat down for hours, and so she wasn't surprised her leg began to cramp up as she followed behind Suho to leave the indoor gym.

"Are you alright?" Suho said, after noticing how she walked with a limp. Irene dismissed it with a wave of her hand, but Suho didn't see it as nothing.

He picked her up carefully, ignoring her protests and set her down on the nearby bleachers before squatting down to examine her leg.

"Cramps," he said as Irene stared down at him. "May I?" he asked and Irene shrugged an affirmation before he carefully began stretching out her leg.

She winced slightly but felt the cramped muscles loosen a little soon after.

Suho stopped and sat next to her. "Let's just rest here for a bit," he said, breathing out deeply and stretching out his limbs.

Irene was silent for a while before she muttered a shy 'thank you'. Suho grinned. "Don't mention it," he replied.

"How'd you know how to do that, anyways?" she questioned him.

"I'm a basketball player and a tennis player," he said. "How could I not know about cramps, having experience several firsthand."

Irene merely nodded, then tucked her falling hair behind her ear.

Silence stretched between the two for a few moments before Suho said, "Hey, uh...about the dance...any plans on who you're going with?"

Irene shrugged and glanced at him. "Not really...probably Sana and Seulgi, but I may decide not to go at all..."

Suho looked at her and cleared his throat. "Oh...then uh, how about you, uh, you – do you wanna go with me?" Irene looked up at him.

"I mean...sure..." she replied after a short moment, a smile forming at the corners of her mouth despite herself. Suho grinned.

"You just smiled, didn't you?" he said excitedly with a chuckle. Irene forced her face back into its usual expression. "No, I didn't." she lied.

Suho nudged her playfully. "Yes, you did!" he exclaimed. "You totally did!"

She couldn't help but let out a small chuckle. "Whatever," she retorted with a smile, not meeting his eyes.

Suho grinned, then grabbed her hand and stood up, pulling her with him. "Come on," he said. "Let's go." They walked out of the indoor gymnasium together, Irene's burning cheeks invisible in the fading light.

Jun breathed in deeply, his left hand in one pocket, his right entwined with his girlfriend's. Sana skipped next to him, humming one of her favourite songs as they passed the school gates.

It was already dark, and the successful fair was over.

As the pair continued down the road, Sana glanced to the left, past Jun, and spotted the alleyway she'd had her first heart-fluttering encounters with her current partner. The memory stopped Sana in her tracks and she gazed down the unlit, narrow path that ended with a brick wall.

"What?" Jun asked, stopping too and glancing where she was looking.

"Jun," Sana said, a slight grin on her face. "Why'd you do it?"

"Do what?" he asked, puzzled.

"Kiss me. Why did you kiss me that day?"

He chuckled. "Because I liked you," he replied with a tone that suggested that it was obvious. "I know I didn't really know you that well, but when I first met you and talked to you at the park that afternoon...you left a pretty big impression on me, I'll tell you that."

Surprised, Sana said, "Really?"

"Yeah," Jun nodded. "And you won't believe how amazed and excited I was when I was in your class and your school...I felt SUPER lucky. So, I took the chance – there was NO WAY I was gonna let any other guy get you," he told Sana, pulling her into a warm hug.

"Worked pretty well, didn't it?" Sana said with a grin.

"Yes," Jun agreed. "Yes, it did."
