Sana was in a great mood the rest of the day. It was noticeable; her mother and father kept on asking her why she was suddenly so upbeat that day. She brushed it off as a good day at school.

After supper, she skipped up to her bedroom and flopped on her bed, debating whether to tell her best friends. She decided against it; she wanted her first kiss to be a secret, just between her and Jun. With a suppressed squeal, Sana suffocated a stuffed animal as she bounced on her bed, finally stopping when she fell onto her back.

She touched her lips, re-imagining Jun's scent and lips and touch, making her stomach clench with butterflies. She still couldn't believe he'd kissed her. Now that she thought about it, she could barely remember how it happened.

Her phone buzzed a few times and she picked it up. An unknown number. Reading the message, it turned out to be Jun. JUN!!

She sat up, cross-legged propped by a pillow.

Jun: Save my number

 Sana: How did you even get my # ??

Creep...

Jun: I'm not a creep... ☹️

Sana took in deep breaths. Was he really going to kiss her tomorrow? She tightened her grip on her stuffed animal and squealed inwardly.

She hadn't wanted to admit she'd like the kiss and wanted him to kiss her again, so she'd avoided answering. At least tomorrow was Physical Evaluation Test day, so the students would be busy for most of the day and Sana would be able to keep some of her mind off the new transfer.

Sana suddenly felt stupid. Why was she kissing a hot guy she barely knew?

Feeling confused and slightly ashamed, she watched YouTube videos until she fell asleep.

8:00 AM, S. S. High

Sana's eyes met Jun's when she glanced across the room. He was standing in the doorway of their classroom, and Sana was at her desk.

His smirk alone made her blush. The last stragglers left the class. They were alone again. Sana cleared her throat and stood up, adjusting her blue and white tracksuit that the class 2-2 girls had to wear. The boys were in black and white. She broke eye contact and made her way for the door quickly, but Jun was quicker.

He barred the doorway with a muscular arm. "You never gave me an answer." Jun said, raising an eyebrow. He was using his low, quiet voice.

"Yeah, and I won't. Let me go, Junhui." she answered with a clipped tone. Jun let his arm fall to his side and Sana passed.

He smirked as she walked down the hallway. He quickly followed her after he realized he would be late.

SSH's Physical Evaluation Test took place every year. Prizes, as well as grades were rewarded to performing students across a total of 11 sports from swimming and climbing to 100m sprint. Students had to choose three optional sports to be tested on along with four compulsory sports: 100m sprint; 400m run; 4 x 400 relay and; dodgeball.

Jun, however, had been given the exception to add as many sports as he wanted. He signed up to every other sport except swimming.

The tests began at 8:30 prompt. Everyone in the high school, from class 1-1 to 3-3 were going to be tested on their selected sports. Athletics were first. The school figured it was best to get the compulsory sports over and done with right from the get-go.

Here's how it went:

Jun placed first overall in the 100m sprint. He also placed first in the 400m run. He was second place in hurdles. First again in the relay with his other three members (they were only first because Minghao and Jun had closed the gap on the last two laps).

Jun's team won the soccer play offs. His team also won the basketball play offs. They were third in volleyball. Anyone could probably guess his other records.

Sana had mainly eyed him from a distance after her team won the female volleyball play offs. She'd lost every race, but came third in the relay thanks to her other members. She and Jun were like two different sides of a coin.

It was 5:00 PM when Sana trudged back into the class with Irene and Seulgi. Sana had a fizzy drink in her bag which she quickly got out and popped it open without another thought. The sugary liquid erupted and poured out onto the floor, draining one-fourth of the contents of the can. With a sigh, she told her friends not to worry about it and went to the janitor's closet to fetch a mop. She opened the door of the small storage room.

"You just can't stay away from me, can you?"

It was Jun.
