The five horsemen

Magicians hellbent on bringing just a little more magic to the world. They stood United. With a promise to become the biggest names in magic.

Because of this the five horsemen found themselves in Paris.

Katherine took her time to admire Paris. A place she always wanted to see with her own eyes since she was a child. The city of light that would light up after dark always took Katherine breath away. But they we're here for a reason, following the instructions on the blueprints they found for their next show.

Etienne Forcier. A French man who had no idea he was being targeted by a group of magicians made his way around Paris. His home.

All the magicians had to do was get his measurements and hypnotise him so he could then be activated in Vegas.

Katherine waited at the top of the stairs while the rest were at the bottom waiting for their queue. Katherine and Daniel became the leaders of the group or ringleaders as they preferred.

Katherine glanced around looking for their target. Luckily it wasn't too overcrowded today she thought. As she lazily leant against the stone wall next to the staircase.

Katherine picked at her nails as she looked up glancing around once again for their target. But this time she had luck as she caught sight of him making his way towards the staircase.

Katherine held her hand up to her ear. "Okay guys I see him get into position," Katherine began speaking into her earpiece that they each had as she quickly began making her way down the stairs. "Merritt be ready, 3..2..1 go." Katherine instructed.

Merritt began his way up the stairs passing Katherine on the way up. He gave her a quick wink when they passed each other before continuing on.

Katherine then passed Daniel who was also at the bottom of the stairs and walked casually to Jack who stood a little ways off from the group.

Katherine glanced behind her seeing Merritt and Etienne bump into each other. Merritt quickly hypnotised him before brining him back to his original state. Merritt continued on as Etienne stole another glance at Merritt, thinking he must've accidentally bumped him. And made his way down the stairs at the same time Daniel went up.

Daniel casually tossed a poker chip into the air before catching it multiple times before they passed each other. Daniel made sure to toss the chip up and catch it right in front of Etienne before snatching his hand back and continuing his way up the stairs. Etienne confused again glance behind him at Daniel before shaking his head riding himself of his thoughts.

"Henley you're up." Katherine instructed from her place beside Jack looking like she was talking to him instead.

"You think this will work."

Jack asked as the pair watched Henley bump into Etienne patting his shoulders and head getting his measurements while apologising in French.

"Of course it will, we're magicians Jack." Katherine reassured and gave him a wink to which he smirked at.

"Okay we're up." Katherine stated moving into position with Jack as the two watched Henley and Etienne part ways.

"Let's hope you're acting skills are up to date." Jack cheekily grinned. While Katherine scoffed as Etienne was getting closer. "Please I'm the trickster I can make anything believable." Katherine stated flipping her hair over her should. God she loved being sassy sometimes.

Jack looked over her should at the incoming Etienne and nodded at Katherine to start.

"Dude you have to go to Vegas with me, I won a shit ton of money there common it'll be fun."

Katherine began excitedly while waving a thick wad of money in jacks face. Which actually was all the money she received from a street show she performed.

"Woah you won that much!" Jack stated amazed. While Etienne passed the two and glanced back furrowing his eyebrows upon hearing the word Vegas. What Etienne didn't know was that Jack slipped a flyer into his pocket. It was a flyer advertising their first show which was you guessed it in Vegas.

Jack wrapped his arm around Katherine still playing off until they were out of site. The two made small talk and walked away before coming to a stop around the corner where they met up with the others.

The all high fives each other.

"Good job guys." Katherine and Daniel stated.

They had one more thing to do which just happened to be the one thing that Katherine had been dreading about this trip. They now had to steal 3.4 million euros from an armoured truck and replace it with flash paper. Great.

A few hours later Katherine found herself doing exactly that. Just not the way you think. She was currently wedged in between Daniel and Henley in a tiny crate that had 3.4 million euros on it. Just you're adverse night Katherine fought to herself.

"God I hate small spaces." Katherine whispered  trying not alert the guard in the van with them and squeezed her eyes shut. Katherine didn't exactly do well with small spaces. And Henley knew that so when Katherine felt her grab her hand she silently thanked the girl. But what completely took her by surprise was the fact that she felt her other hand being encased by another's.

She looked to her right at Daniel who was already looking her her. He smiled gently at her giving her some reassurance as she smiled back. But the way he looked at her made her stomach do flips. Must be the small space she thought.

Katherine heard the guard about the walk past on Henley side. When he was in close enough distance Henley reached out, a small needle containing a very strong sedative and jabbed it into the guards ankle. The guard straight away collapsed, unconscious.

Katherine felt the van coming to a stop. About damn time Merritt Katherine thought. The three looked towards each other and nodded before pushing the bottom of the crate upwards. The money slide off the crate as they pushed up. All three sat up looking around them at all the money, they all grinned at each other.

Kat, Danny and Henley looked towards the van door as it began to open revealing Jack and Merritt. Jack was in normal street clothes but Merritt however was all dressed up in a cops uniform.

"Hey boys." Henley greeted.

"Nice uniform Merritt." Kat stated grinning from ear to ear like the cheshier cat.

"Yeah well you won't being seeing me in one again cops are overrated. Enjoy while you can Kat." Merritt replied gesturing to the uniform and throwing in a wink at the end.

Henley, Daniel and Katherine helped each other up and started grabbing the money and putting it in the black duffle bags Merritt gave them.

"Just a normal night," Kat started saying. "Robing an armoured car at 1 in the morning." Katherine stated sarcasm dripping from her words. Daniel chuckled as they continued shovelling money in bags. Kat and Danny stealing glances at each other every now and then.

Jack opened the boot of the car revealing the fake money made of flash paper. Once the real money was cleared out of the truck they placed the crate down once more. Katherine reached into her pocket pulling out a card and ticket stub to their first show in Vegas. The playing card had Etienne signature which Jack had forged after spending hours of practising. Katherine placed the two together in the middle of the crate before loading all the fake money back on the crate. They were careful to make it look untouched.

Katherine placed the last block of fake money on the stack before stepping back to admire the stunt they'd just pulled off.

"Hey Danny," Katherine called out." Is this all of it." She asked point at the money.

"Yes now come on Kat, lets go." Daniel called out. The rest of the horsemen were ready to go waiting in the car. Kat jumped down from the truck closing the doors. Merritt walked around to the front and activated the driver. Katherine walked briskly towards Daniel who was waiting by the car. "Nice job." Danny told her. "Well what can I say I'm a pro." Katherine shrugged. Danny chuckled and got in the car, Kat following.

"Now," Katherine began smirking "We have a show to prepare for.

The others looked at her smiling. They were well on their way to completing the instructions. They were ready.

They drove off into the night with 3.4 million euros in the boot.
