Chapter 47

"Let me at her!" Zenix yells at Gene."No, Zenix!" Gene yells back, soon Zenix and I break free from there grasps and Zenix's eyes turn a deep red.

I smile and grab vase from the table and Dante jumps in between Zenix and me. I smash the vase against the wall, I shove Dante aside. Zenix turns into his Shadow Knight form, I laugh a little under my breath. He pulls a sword out and I feel the dark energy fill the house. I could hear muffled yells of everyone as Zenix stared at each other waiting for someone to swing first. "You can't bring yourself to hit me." Zenix says, smirking."You bet?" I laughed.

I throw the vase aside and grab a chair and chuck it at him. It hits him splintering into pieces, he stumbles back a tad from being hit in the head. He shakes his and he jumps towards me with his sword ready to strike my head, I put my arms over my head and feel the sword hit me but doesn't. I look up to see a force field over me, I smile and the shield break and Zenix looks at me angry. I soon feel arms wrap around me holding me back, I try to break free but can't.

He pulls me from the room, I still struggle to get free. He turns me around so I'm face to face with Travis, his face looked concerned. I still struggle to break his grip, my face was pure rage. He pulls me closer and kisses my lips trying to calm me down, I snap out of my rage and kiss back and he pulls away, he gives a small smile. I halfhearted smile back, he starts to speak. "You good now?""Yeah... I guess."
