Chapter 9

...(Y/N)'s POV...

"Travis put me down!!" I yell at him, he smiles and sits me on a low tree branch. I roll my eyes and look down at Travis, he smirks. "Why are you smirking?" I ask a little worried. "Because how beautiful you are." He answers still staring up at me, I place my hand on his face, pushing him back. I jump down, I land on my feet of course."Hey Aphmau is having a pool party this weekend... and I was wondering if you wanted to come with me?" Travis says getting down on his knees and folding his hands together."Fine... but don't expect me to do anything with you!!" I tell him. "Great!!" He cheers.

We hear a scream come from the direction of the school, but before Travis could stop my I run towards the school. I see a light blue haired boy backed up against a wall, with a man standing over him with a knife. Without thinking I grab the man's arm, the boy runs off. "Pick on someone your own age!!" I yell at the man. Travis runs out of the forest to see me and the man standing there.

The man pulls out another knife swing it cutting my arm. I don't move, I barely felt the blade against my skin. He looks at me like I'm crazy, I pull the knife from his other hand and hold it against his neck. Travis grabs the other one, we both pin him to the ground. The boy from before runs back over, but this time with a cop with him. The cop runs over and grabs his wrists applying handcuffs to them, the cop makes the man stand up and smiles at us.

After awhile the light blue haired boy walks up to me, I smile. "Hey, Kacie!" Travis chimes."Hey, Travis. Thanks so much... you saved my life!!" He says to me and Travis, he the runs off.  I smile, then look at Travis."Hey, Trav?" "Yeah?" He answers back."Thanks for saving me back there..." I say a little shy."No... thank you, you let me kiss you... no ever let's me even a little romantic with them... but you do." He says staring in to my eyes."T-Travis, I uhh..." I couldn't speak his green eyes are like a vortex, I can't do anything."We should probably go." He says grabbing my hand. "Yeah..." with that we leave and head home for the night.

...arrived at your house...

Travis and I stand outside my house, I nervously smile."So... umm... night T-Travis." I go to open the door when he pulls me close, my face turns red."Goodbye." He kisses me on the forehead, then lets me go.

I run inside and slam the door shut, I run upstairs to my room. "Ahhhhhh!!" I scream into my pillow. "Save me cruel world!!" I hear a knock at my door, I sit up and moan. "Why can't I ever get a break!!"
