The Fateful Meeting

RING RING!

I hear my annoying alarm go off and smack it senseless. Once I goes off I slowly get up and yawn. When I look at the time it says 9:00a.m. I shriek as I jump off my bed and get dressed. I rush into the kitchen and see that my parents are gone. I shrug, and run out through the back door with a croissant in my mouth. I rush through the door and rub my neck slowly, once I see that M.s Bustier isn't paying attention I run over to my seat next to Alya. She gives me a -not again- look and shakes her head. I softly chuckle as I start writing notes.

AFTER CLASS

Tikki suddenly jumped on me and rubbed the top of my head.

"Tikki" I said groaning "that's your punishment for being late Mari" Tikki exclaimed, giggling. I rubbed my head and smiled. "Anyways, girls. Did you see my newest update on the ' Chat Noir Blog'" Alya aid taking out her phone and showing me and Tikki the footage. "He's really cool" I said, I looked at Tikki as she shook her head. Tikki never like Chat Noir, I've always wondered why. I wrap my arm around her and smile, Tikki returns my smile and giggles. "Why are you looking at me like that" she asked. "Well, you seemed so...plain when Alya showed us the footage." I said snickering. "A blank expression" Alya said, smiling. "Stop ganging up on me" Tikki said escaping my grasp. Tikki ran freely into the cafeteria. Me and Alya exchanged snickers and followed her.  Once I entered the room my heart glowed. My insides bubbled, I saw my true love Adrien Agreste. I put my hand over my leaping heart, and sighed. "He's perfect everyday" I whispered to Alya. Alya rolled her eyes and walked in the middle of the cafeteria, she noticed I wasn't following so she turned around and mouth "come on" I shook my head. Everyone hated me, except for my two bestfriends. Once I walked in to the cafeteria all eyes turned to me, after a moment of silence I then heard whispering everywhere. Pointing, and laughing. I then noticed Chloe approaching me. She slapped me hard and said "go hide under a rock, loser. Since that's why you come late everyday." I tugged on my Chat Noir inspired sweater and tremble "look at this ugly outfit. I'm guessing you made it" she said. As she laughed, everyone joined her, except Alya and Tikki. I couldn't take it anymore and ran straight to my next class. I then felt a hand on my shoulder and peeked at who it was. It was Nathaniel. "You wanna bully me too" I asked trying to hide my voice, you could easily tell that it was shaking. "No..." Nathaniel said sitting next to me. I sat up and looked at him, I felt my eyes hurt and my cheeks red. Nathaniel shook when he saw me. He the pulled me into a hug. I couldn't help but sob on his shoulder. As he rubbed my back, I felt calmer. I pulled a way and breathed slowly. "I'm going home" I said slowly. "I...I can't face anyone r-right now" I said grabbing my bag. "I'll walk you" Nathaniel said smiling. I nodded slowly.

"Thanks for walking me" Marinette  said as she opened her apartment door. "Want me to c-comfort you" Nathaniel said blushing a dark crimson. Marinette was shocked. On the other hand, Nathaniel wanted to slap himself for saying that. Marinette smiled and slowly nodded. "Hi mama" Marinette said entering the apartment, "wait...why are you home so early?" Her mother asked worried "I'm sick" Marinette said in a flat voice. Sabine frowned and looked at Nathaniel he shook his head and gave her a -she's sad- look. Sabine sighed, Nathaniel walked into Marinette's room and  blushed deeply. He then realized "I'm in a girl's room" he turned crimson and moved robotically. "You could sit on that chair" Marinette said, still in a flat tone. Nathaniel nodded and sat down. Marinette sighed and trembled. Her cheeks were then coated a light pink. Her eyes were growing tears, Nathaniel then noticed and hugged her. Marinette felt safe and sobbed on Nathaniel's arm. He hated seeing Mari like this, he loved when she was bubbly and charming, sweet and smart. And most of all, Marinette was beautiful. Nathaniel always knew it was love at first sight. He wanted her to be happy all the time, but he then grew to love her at her darkest times. He always loved her.
