1*Fifth Birthday(Flashback)*
19:50, 8 June 2018-Cassie's POV-
I remember it as if it had all happened yesterday. The day I met him, and the day that he left me. I fell into a deep depression during my sophomore year of highschool which only Andy and my family knew about. But I guess you get what you don't expect in life.
*fifth birthday *
It's my fifth birthday today and I was super excited. There were black and purple ribbons and balloons everywhere, and some of my friends were running by. Mom invited the neighbors and their son. Mom just said to be nice to him. I watched the other girls and boys chase after eachother as I sat on the floor with a small acoustic guitar. I didn't see the boy that had started living here yet.
"Cassie," Mom said with a smile
"What?" I asked
"Come meet the new neighbors. " She said while helping me up and leading me to them. I shyly hid behind my mom and she laughed at me. I looked at the boy, he had long black hair (for his age), and these really blue eyes. Like the water in a cartoon.
"Hi, I'm Andy. " He said with a innocent smile
"C-cassie" I mumbled and he looked at me with a cute smile which made me smile back
"You're my best friend now. " he said and my eyes went big
"w-what" I asked and the grown ups laughed at the two of us. We skipped happily along the walls of the room, and made fun of the girls in my class who I was forced to invite. They were mean to me a lot, but mom just says it's because they're jealous of me.
Andy saw my guitar and his eyes widened. He picked it up and I started to strum the small chords I knew how to play on the cheap child's guitar. Andy hummed along with what I was strumming and my mom and daf, and Andy's mom and dad came and watched us. I smiled my toothless smile at Andy and he smiled his full mouth of teeth at me. My dad put on A song by the Misfits and Andy's face lit up.
"You like Misfits too!" He said in his high voice with a snile
"Yeah, " I giggled
We spent the rest of the day together and the girls who didn't like us gave us mean looks. I didn't care, I had my bestest friend Andy next to me.
