Doctor's Appointment

Akane's pov

Sun shone through my eyelids, light breeze the fresh smell of grass and trees, eventually woke me up from my nap

Hahh day offs are the best...we have a panda, we picnic basket along with sheet, and sure my life is bound to end in a few weeks....yeah I don't know

I just need something nice

"Nee Akane-chan is this really how you want to spend your day off? I thought you'd be off buying more food" Panda yawned after we 3 had a 2 hour nap

"I haven't been sleeping too well, and the past 4-5 months is just...no"

"Salmon..." Toge got up for a while to stretch himself and get some snacks

"I'm actually surprised you two didn't came for practice with Maki, where is she?"

"She's taking a break after you chased her around the mountain few times , so we're taking it easy~" Panda said, eating some of the fruits we brought, "how about you?"

"Megumi is probably on a mission, Nobara is out shopping, Yuji is yuji, everything sounds way too much work" I sighed before cracking my neck and lean on to panda's back

"Hehh? Sounds tiring" Panda huffed

"I'm just so glad you guys like doing nothing"

"Mustard leaf" Toge sang reaching to basket to pick out some rice-balls, "Tuna mayo?" He asked picking one out

"Ah no that has pickled plums, pick the one beside it" he nodded and did so before leaning on panda as well

This is nice~..........And now it isn't

I forced my dried my eyes to open and I sat up, staring to the forest

"Mustard leaf?"

"Someone's watching..." I mumbled scooting over to the edge and slammed my hand to the ground making flowers pop up in a line, heading to where I sensed him

Soon enough there was a scream from the forest

"Was that Gojo...?"

"Yep" I sighed as he appeared in front of us with a flower in hand

"Bonito flakes..."

"Yo~ Akane time for your doctor's appointment" he grin destroying the flower away making me groan flopping back to Panda

"Toge-senpai...use your words to make him go away..." he shook his head as Gojo grabbed my ankle dragging me away from my happy place

"Good luck Akane-chan, we'll finish the food for you"

"Salmon!" They should be glad I find them adorable

Now I'm going to a doctor...wait why the hell do I even need a doctor?? WE DONT EVEN HAVE ONE??

AND I DONT NEED ONE I CAN HEAL MYSELF NO PROBLEM??When he finally lets me go I got up anndd I'm in a morgue...hm...are our definitions of doctors the same...

"...am I being cremated?"

"Nope, we're meeting a good friend of mine" he smiled as we went in there were footsteps coming up behind us

"Ahh sorry I'm late" a lady came out and put out her cigarette She smells like alcohol and...well cigarettes, and there's something overwhelming about her... maybe because she works here?

"We haven't properly met huh? I'm Ieri Shoko, what should I call you?" She asks going to one of the doors and unlocking it

"Akane is fine..."

"Alrighty then" she sighs opening the doors and yep this is a morgue and I want to leave, "if you can just sit on the table, and we can sta-" she trailed off seeing me clawing my way at this infinity block he set up

"Yoshh come on Akanee~"

"LET ME GO YOU MUSHROOM"

——few minutes forcing her to the examination room later—

"Are you finished with your tantrum?" She asks wearing surgical gloves while I finished my milkshake

"Probably, sorry about the walls..."

"It's the school's I don't really care, Satoru can you come down here?" She looked up seeing him still floating with some parts of the door stuck on him

"Is she still mad?"

"Yes, I thought you said she wanted to see me?" He got the rubble off him as he floated down

"Ehe I li-YOU SAID SHE WASN'T MAD" he yelled as I threw a surgical knife to him

"Ahh my bad, now if you'll excuse me..." we ignored his yells and she takes my arm, making a small slice only to see no blood coming out, and when it did it just goes right back in

She hummed seeing the reaction took a look at my hands and nails noticing they're now ink black , with hues of purple

"Well it's obvious your body is rotting from the inside..." she trailed off before forcing my mouth to open, "your canines, and premolars have sharpened...any changes in diet?" She asked

"Not much? I have been craving a lot more curses lately" I shrugged as she scribbled something in her notepad

Ohh this is actually fun

I've never been to an actual doctor

Granted she technically works more with dead bodies but still a doctor nonetheless

"Any other changes to your body other than your ears?"

"Well I couldn't sleep since my brain got fucked best sleep I've had was few minutes ago"

"Has this effect your life?"

"The only issue I have is from the lack of sleep this happens a lot" I got off the table and stood up having black tar bubble up under me

She took a few steps back and crouched down, throwing in a coin and saw it melt down before turning to a flower

"Can you control this?"

"When I get enough sleep yeah, last time I kept leaving dark splats and it took me a while to make them stop" I sighed pulled back the darkness leaving behind the flower before sitting back on the tableAs she reached out her hand got stung and the flower disappears

"Ah be careful, they sting"

"Yes Satoru you could've mentioned that sooner" she sighs and continue to scribble down notes, "have you used your curse lately?

"Nope, when I do, I can't really sleep"

"What are the things you can remember the most?"

"Probably the binding vows I have, the old man, the ugly sausage, cooking, that thing beside you and few people"

"Well alright I think I have a full picture of this, you two come look here" she showed us her notes that I can barely read because..her hand writing is very...swirly??

But now I feel conflicted-

"Oii getting cold feet? So scared to take down a lanky old man~?" And now I'm over itAs my eyes glowed and glance over to his right arm a surge of curse energy went to there, keeping his soul safe

Soon enough blood brought his color back and now I just lost my appetite seeing that

The pink one tried holding the girl back from she runs a rampage to Toge, there was a tap on my head from the gloomy one

"Were you crying?" I froze as I saw their ears perk, "Your eyes are puffy..."

"Ahhh I hit a wall while I was walking to sit down, no big deal" I shrugged them off

For once the screaming I'm hearing is quite enjoyable despite seeing them frothing from yelling so much...those that come from a couple brats...sound way better than the ones in my head

"Oii idiots, do you guys remember where I live? I'll make you 3 something" they stopped trying to break each other's bones and just stared "I'll pay back for the cakes too"
