It's Not You. It's Me

Narrator's POV

The next day, Camila found her self wrapped in Lauren's arms. She had slowly opened her eyes and realized that she had fallen asleep on Lauren's bed....with Lauren. Camila turned to face Lauren. She admired her beautiful features. Smiling, she pulled a strand of hair out of Lauren's face. In response to Camila's touch Lauren's nose twitched. Camila could not help but think how adorable that was. She ran her fingers across Lauren's lips. The touch beneath her fingers tingled. Lauren began to move her head deeper into the pillow. Camila then planted a chaste kiss on her lips. Lauren opened her eyes slowly. "Mmmm... If only I could wake up like that every morning."

Camila chuckled then dug her face into Lauren's neck. A sudden realization hit her. 'The boys...'

Her head shot up and hit Lauren square in the jaw.

"Oww...Camzs, is that gonna be like our thing now?" Lauren said digging her face into the pillow.

Camila turned Lauren's head to face her. Then kissed her chin. "Sorry and no you dope..."

"Correction, your dope. " Lauren mumbled and closed her eyes.

Camila brushed off Lauren's cuteness.

"Lo I just realized that were still "dating" the boys."

Lauren's eyebrow rose. "Your right, totally forgot about them..."

Camila chuckled "And are you planning on telling him?"

Lauren opened her eyes. "Of course I am..."

"When?" Camila asked.

"I don't know, perhaps our wedding day." Lauren joked.

"I'm serious."

"Well, I guess today then and why?"

" I want to be there with you when you talk to him and I want you to be with me when I talk to Austin." Camila said. "I want to let them down easy. I feel bad for leading them on and I need you there With me because Austin has anger issues and I really don't want to be alone when I tell him."

"Yeah Camz, of course I'll be there with you. And I promise I won't let anything happen to you." Lauren said caressing her cheek.

Camila nodded. "I guess we can talk to them together then?"

Lauren nodded. " Sure, I'll text him later but for now..." Lauren pulled Camila closer into her body. "I just wanna lay here with you." She smiled.

Camila smiled in response to Lauren's touch. Lauren's lips hovered over Camila's. She softly brushed her lips against her chin and to Camila's disappointment, quickly pecked Camila's lips.

Camila cocked her brow. She was expected the kiss to be of 'Jauregui' potential. "What was that?"

" A kiss?" Lauren said confused.

"I want your deep, slow, passionate kisses, not a meaningless peck." Camila pouted.

Lauren chuckled then put her hand on Camila's cheek. "After last night, I told my self that I would only fully kiss you, until we officially started dating."

"Arn't we already dating?" Camila asked confused.

"Nope." Lauren said popping the "p". "What has Austin been teaching you?"

Camila shrugged her shoulders.

"Look, here's your first lesson into "Love". So your officially dating when your friend asks you on a date and you accept. Therefore, I must first ask you on a date for us to be officially dating."

Camila seemed completely confused.

" In addition, after a long montage of awesome dates. Your friend or you can ask to be together. And that's when you become an official couple." Lauren said.

Camila sighed impatiently."What are you waiting for then?"

"The perfect moment." Lauren smiled.

Camila rolled her eyes."Your such a hopeless romantic Lo."

"Hopelessly in love...In an added note, I've skipped a few steps, so I've gotta work twice as hard to help you catch up." Lauren winked.

"And that's why we're starting from square one?" Camila asked.

"Yup." Lauren smiled.

" Yes! See I'm already learning." Camila smiled in success of understanding this alien subject.

"Well, you have a great teacher." Lauren smiled.

"And even if you can't kiss me, I can still kiss you whenever and however I want right?" Camila smirked.

"Right again... but that's if I allow you too." Lauren smiled.

"I don't think I need permission." Camila smirked.

As Camila began to close the gap between their lips, the door flew open.

"GOOD MORNING CAMREN!" Normani yelled then jumped on top of them.

"Ugh, Doesn't anyone in this house knock anymore." Lauren said digging her face into Camila's neck.

Camila chuckled at Lauren's comment.

"Nope.Were family remember." Normani said hugging them both.

"Last time I checked Families still knock." Lauren mumbled.

"Well, someone woke up grumpy this morning. Cheer her up Mila and bring her down stairs. Dinah and Ally made your favorite." Normani said.

Camila's eyes instantly grew wide. "PANCAKES?!"

Normnai nodded.

"Lauren, Come on!" Camila said grabbing Lauren's hand and pulling her out of bed.

"Five more minutes..." Lauren grumbled.

Camila ignored Lauren's request and dragged her down stairs anyway.

🕜5 hours later🕔

To Luis:

"Hey, we need to talk meet me outside my building in 30."

From Luis:

"Okay..."

To Austin:

"Hey Austin... We need to talk meet me out side in about 30?" Hugs Camila

From Austin:

"I suppose..."

Both girls texted the boys and mentally prepared themselves for their future confrontations.

"In 30 minutes?" Lauren asked.

"In 30 minutes." Camila replied.

🕔 30 minutes later 🕜

Austin and Luis have arrived at the same time. They both greeted each other.

"They wanted to talk to you too huh?" Luis asked.

"Yep....not just talk bro, they want to talk." Austin replied.

Luis nodded sadly.

Both girls came out of the building shortly after their conversation. Both hand in hand and fingers entwined.

They both stood in front of them.

"Hi." Camila greeted them.

They both waved.

"Look. We want to talk to you guys about something that just sort of happened." Lauren said.

"Okay?" Austin said confused.

"What is it?" Luis asked calmly.

"Look," Camila began. "At first we were faking it but now..."

"We're not." Lauren finished.

Both guys were absolutely surprised.

Austin raised his brow "What?"

" I feel in love with Camila." Lauren said looking into Luis's eyes.

Luis remained calm and took a deep breath.

"And I'm starting to fall for her." Camila said.

Austin ran his hand through his hair. Both angry and upset he then said " What the hell, man!"

"Chill bro." Luis said putting his hand on Austin's shoulder.

"CHILL? Bro how can you chill when the love of our live's are breaking up with us because of some stupid lesbo phase!" Austin yelled.

Camila began to tense up in fear. Lauren squeezed her hand reassuringly.

"What else can we do? ...There in love Austin." Luis told him.

Austin slapped Luis's hand from his shoulder. " I don't give a fuck. You can't just break up with me."He began to tear up. "You know what...Your gonna pay Camila Cabello. YOUR BOTH GOING TO PAY!" Austin exclaimed walking to his car then slamming the door shut.

Luis put a hand on Lauren's shoulder. "I'll talk to Him make sure he doesn't out the whole faking it thing." He began to walk away. Then turned around to look at Lauren. " And thank you Lauren...for telling me before it got way out of hand."

"Thank you for being a supportive friend." Lauren smiled.

Luis nodded, walked to his car and drove away.

Camila sighed. " I knew it was gonna get ugly."

"It's okay, Luis said he'd handle it and if all fails I will." Lauren reassured her.

Camila smiled, still unsure of their safety. Because when Austin is angry he is more than just that. He tends to hold grudges and never hesitates for the chance of revenge. This is the side that Camila hated about Austin the most... and part of her was glad that she didn't have to deal with it anymore.

Lauren held Camila's hand and led her back to their hotel room.When they opened the door, there was a note sitting on the counter for them. Camila picked up the note and read it aloud.

To Camren,

Where not going to be here till tomorrow.We're moving in to our new beach house 😱 that the label just bought for us. Well come back for the rest of the stuff tomorrow. Sorry for the late notice but it's a beach house! Anyways you guys have the hotel room to yourselves... Have fun 💋😉 if ya know what I mean.

From Dinah, Ally and Normani

Camila blushed.

"Hmmm Sounds like a good idea to me." Lauren winked.

Camila playfully punched Lauren in the arm.

"Oww." Lauren played along. "Oh no call 911..." Lauren chuckled.

Camila cocked her brow. Lauren then grabbed Camila's wrist and brought her down with her as she slumped into the couch. She then wrapped her arms around Camila's waist and dug her face into her neck. She breathed on Camila's neck. It sent many chills up her spine.

"L-LAUREN, they weren't s-serious." Camila managed to stutter out as She began to kiss her neck softly.

"Relax, I'm not going to do anything, yet..." She smirked.

Camila's eyes widened.

"First, I have to do this." Lauren breathed behind Camz's ear.

Camila felt shivers run up her whole body with each breath.

"Karla Camila Cabello, would you do me the extraordinary honor of going on a date with me?" She breathed into my ear.

Camila smiled. "Yes, but don't call me Karla ever again."

Lauren chuckled. "Okay, whatever you say."

"So, where are we going?" Camila asked.

"That's for me to know and for you to find out." Lauren smirked.

Camila turned to face Lauren.

"Tell me you jerk."

"It's a surprise." Lauren smiled.

"Lauren your last surprise almost killed me. I think i'd prefer it if you tell me." Camila said.

"Now, where's the fun in that?" Lauren smiled.

"Lauren..." Camila said very worried.

" Just trust me Camz. I will no longer put your life in danger. Promise. " Lauren said caressing Camila's cheek.

Camila nodded, still unsure of her amount if trust that she had for Lauren at the moment.

Lauren leaned into Camila's face. Lauren looked at Camila's lips and hesitated. Camila was impatient. Lauren noted it and pecked her on the cheek.

" No. Not like that. Kiss me for real." Camila said before closing the gap between them.

Lauren sat up and rested her back on the armrest of the couch. In response to Lauren's new position, Camila readjusted her self and sat on Lauren's lap with her legs on both sides of Lauren's hips. Lauren put her hands on Camila's waist as Camila wrapped her arms around Lauren's neck. Their lips moved together in perfect sync. Camila began to deepen the kiss. She asked for entrance and Lauren immediately accepted. Lauren was a bit surprised by the fact that Camila had initiated the "deepening" Their tongues fought for dominance. Of course Lauren won. With victory, Lauren pulled away when oxygen became a problem.

"Don't stop." Camila said leaning back into Lauren to kiss her.

"Mmm." Lauren said pulling away. She put her hand on Camila's chest to stop her.

Lauren and Camila both panted.

"Were skipping steps." Lauren said.

Camila smiled. "Better for me." She said leaning back for another kiss.

"I love you Camz so much... but I promised my self I'd take slow with you. The way it's supposed to be." Lauren smiled caressing her cheek.

Camila sighed. "Okay, I guess... because your the expert." Camila pouted.

Lauren pressed her forehead against Camila's. "Don't pout. It drives me crazy."

Lauren's hot breath tickled Camila's lips. Camila began to pant wanting to taste Lauren's lips once again.

"See... this is why we skip steps." Camila breathed.

Lauren smiled and kissed her nose.

Camila sighed in disappointment. Lauren then got up and brought Camila with her.

"Let's go to bed. Can't have you sleeping on me on our date tomorrow...well atleast not at first." Lauren smirked.

Camila felt her face turn red. 'WHAT?' wait she's kidding..right?..she has to be... yeah...'
