Madelyn Black stood outside of the Hillstop Cafe with an nervous look. Her stomach was tingling with butterflies and she wasn't sure if she could actually take control of her body and walk inside of the cafe.

She had chosen to wear her black skirt and checkered vest crop top with her vans. It wasn't her best fashion decision but the overwhelming urge to throw up was gathering most of her thoughts.

"Okay Maddie, go in there and be like really cool and confident!" Madelyn whispered to herself fiercely before advancing towards the door.

As soon as she stepped in she immediately went to leave.

Unfortunately an old couple came in right at that moment so she was forced to move out of the way inside, and then she caught the eye of the green eyed man.

She felt her jaw drop as she subconsciously checked him out. He was wearing a pristine black suit with a black shirt and a black tie. Although some may say it looked rather mundane, Madelyn couldn't help but think he looked ravishing.

Her feet subconsciously took her to the table, her face too dazed to even gather his attention.

"Madelyn?"

She felt her breath get caught in her throat as she heard him say her name."Hi." She squealed awkwardly before sliding into the seat opposite him with a small blush.

Loki smiled at her awkwardness before clearing his throat."How's your day been darling?"

"Well my dad took me to breakfast this morning, we got pancakes and-"

As Madelyn talked her shoulders relaxed and she instantly felt at ease with the man. Like she could tell him anything and he wouldn't judge her at all. Loki was watching on with a soft smile.

She paused abruptly making Loki furrow his eyebrows."Sorry for rambling, how has your day been?"

Loki chuckled a little. "Ramble to me whenever you want, I love listening to you. My day was okay, well until now." He winked.

Madelyn's blush was so prominent that he had to hold back a coo at how adorable she looked.

"So, the eight legged horse." Madelyn started with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Loki's lip twitched.

"I heard it wasn't the only child you had." Loki leant back into his seat.

"A fucking serpent?"

"You can't say that it isn't cool having a serpent as a child." Loki retorted.

Madelyn raised her eyebrows. "A massive wolf?"

"That was a mistake - but don't let him hear that." He joked with a smirk.

She quirked an eyebrow.

"But, the eight legged horse! What the fuck?" Madelyn burst out laughing making Loki subsequently laugh too.

"Look, none of them are true." Loki leant on the table.

Madelyn raised her eyebrows with disbelief.

"Okay maybe a few are true-"

"I feel a little creepy just watching them, Mr Stark."

The group of avengers were sat around the cafe with disguises on to conceal their identities. They each wore a big coat and a cap.

"I thought we were going out for dinner, not stalking spidey's girl!" Sam complained with a scowl making Bucky laugh yet it was laced with envy.

"Have you guys never stalked a date before?" Tony asks rolling his eyes.

"No!" Everyone whisper shouts.

"Look, Mr Stark, I trust Madelyn completely-"

"I trust her too Peter."

"So why are we stalking them?" Wanda but in with cross arms.

"Because I want my daughter in law to be happy." Tony said defeatedly making Peter blush.

"And you think she would be happy with you stalking her date?" Natasha reprimands.

"I'm just making sure nothing goes wrong!" Tony exclaimed.

"What could go wrong, they look really happy!" Carol gestures to the couple who are animatedly talking.

"Think about this, who's going to pay the bill when they finish? It sure as hell won't be Loki-"

"Of course he would pay the bill, not that Madelyn will let him though." Wanda rolls her eyes.

"No, I didn't mean about genders and paying stereotypes I meant he's only got asgardian money and he's going to be extremely confused when they won't take his money! It will be humiliating for him!" Tony explains.

The others raise their eyebrows.

"You really thought this through." Bucky commented leaning back.

"Of course I did." Tony said smugly, puffing out his chest.

"Hello, welcome to Hillstop cafe, what can I get for you guys?" A waitress appeared out of nowhere making Tony jump up, his cap flying off of his head.

His eyes widened as he shuffled closer to the table, covering his face with his hand.

"We would like to pay for whatever table five orders." Wanda stepped in, Tony giving her a grateful look.

"Oh really, that's very kind of you! Card or cash?" The waitress asked with a beaming smile.

"Card." Tony replied, passing her his card.

"That won't be necessary."

Wincing, the avengers turn around to where Loki and Madelyn were standing, with blatant glares although the avengers didn't feel intimidated whatsoever. No, their eyes were glued to Loki's hand wrapped around Madelyn's waist.

The waitress raised her eyebrows before scattering.

"You really think a God of Mischief wouldn't notice you guys following us." Loki raised an eyebrow.

"Well the date looks like it went successful." Tony tried to steer the conversation with a happy grin.

"Don't change the subject, Tony. We will be talking about this when we get home, Peter." Madelyn narrowed her eyes at them.

"And I do in fact own American money, Stark." Loki commented before the couple walked away gracefully.

"Wow they looked hot together." Carol commented.

"Carol, cant you see that Peter and Tony are so screwed!" Wanda exclaimed, with a small laugh.

Peter was pale and stood abruptly."MADS, MR STARK DRUG ME ALONG I DIDN'T WANT TO!" He ran after her.

"That little shit." Tony grumbled.
