Chapter 14:

~Avril's POV~

"...The user is not available, please try again."

I dialled Chad's number again. I haven't seen him for a long time. Why isn't he picking up?

"...Please leave a message after the beep."

"Chad, where are you? Please call me right after you hear this! I'm so worried about you!" I said to the phone before hanging again.

I dialled Evan's number next. Maybe he knows where Chad is.

"Hey Evan, do you know where Chad is?"

Ummm... No, I haven't seen him around."

"Damn. Thanks." I hang up.

I heard the door slam shut and I rushed out of my room to see who is was.

"Chad! Where have you been? I've been so worried about you!" I said relieved.

"Oh really? You'be been worried about me? How nice. I thought you only cared about your Evan."

Evan? What does Evan have to do with all this? "What's Evan got to do with this?"

"Don't act, Avril. I saw both of you together." I said, trying to control his anger. "He's my best friend, of course we're together!"

"I didn't know best friends sleep together!" Chad shouted angrily. He glared at me. I never seen Chad so angry before, it really scares the hell out of me. But at the same time, I was completely confused.

"Sleep? What do you mean?"

"I saw both of you sleeping together! And don't deny it Avril!" "What? When?"

"A week ago!"

A week ago... That was when Ariana and Ellie came over and we watched a horror movie! I called Evan over! Chad must have misunderstood!

"That? Me and Evan were just sleeping! Nothing else babe!" I chuckled and continued, "Ariana, Ellie and I watched a horror movie, I got scared and called Evan over! It's nothing, Chad!"

"Oh... Really... Oh... Then, why didn't you call me instead?" He asked, realizing his mistake.

"I guess I was used to called Evan...?" That was more like a question.

"Oh... I'm so sorry Avril..." Chad hung his head, apologizing.

I laughed and rushed up to him and hugged him tightly. He hugged me back. Being with Chad and being in his arms made my world complete. "It's okay." I mumbled. He kissed me forehead before saying, "Next time, call me, okay?"

"I will, if I remember." I kissed him on the lips, making both of us smile. "Hey, lets go out tonight, I wanna make it up to you." I nodded.

~Ellie's POV~

"Hey Evan!" I greeted as I sat down. "Hey Ellie." He said shyly.

"I actually ordered for both of us, hope you don't mind..." Evan said. "Oh, it's okay." I replied, smiling warmly.

The dinner grew from awkward to friendly to crazy...?

I was laughing so hard, I had problems breathing! "Hahaha... That's so funny!! Is that your imagination?" I asked, gasping for air. "No, not at all!" Evan said, laughing as well.

Who knew Evan would be so funny? No wonder he's Avril's best friend.

After dinner, Evan walked me home. What a gentleman!

"This is it!" I exclaimed while reaching the doorstep of the house. "It's a nice house!" He complemented.

It was awkward again. He broke the silence by saying, " I better get going now, so... Good night, tonight was fun." He smiled saying the last few words. "Night, Evan!" I waved while he walked away.

I unlocked the door and ran into the house. "Ariana!" I shouted. "Oh my gosh oh my gosh how did it go? Tell me everything!" She practically screamed. So, I told her everything. "Awww, you guys are going to be soooooo cute together!" "Lets see about that..." I sighed.
