Chapter 5: 𝐹𝑟𝑖𝑒𝑛𝑑𝑠?

𝗔𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿 𝗣𝗢𝗩:

First day of school for Mikasa wasn't good nor was it bad.

Mikasa was waiting for her uncle to pick her up from school.

Mikasa was sitting on the bench listening to Shakka 'When will I see you again?'

Some students had already gone home but Mikasa couldn't care less.Levi still hadn't come well because he was busy with work so Mikasa knew he would come late and she didn't want to walk home.

Soon another group of students walked of the school exit and saw Mikasa sitting by herself on the bench and Sasha of course decided to walk over and sit next to her.

Mikasa had an irritated look on her face and Eren could tell once again she didn't want them near her.

𝗘𝗿𝗲𝗻 𝗣𝗢𝗩:

Sasha ran over to Mikasa and sat next to her, I knew she didn't want us near her but I went along anyways because I wanted to get to know her.

"𝗛𝗲𝘆 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻" -Sasha said while playing with Mikasa's hair.

Mikasa slapped her hand away and tried to ignore us but then Annie spoke up.

"𝗔𝗿𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗴𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗮 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗻𝘂𝗲 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝗯*𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲?" -Annie asked with her normal monotone voice.

"𝗔𝗻𝗻𝗶𝗲, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗱𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝘀𝗮𝘆 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁!" -Historia scolded her

"𝗔𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀, 𝘄𝗲 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗮 𝘀𝗹𝗲𝗲𝗽𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗱𝗮𝘆, 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗳 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲"- I said

Armin slightly nudged me in the ribs while smirking

I gave him the look that said 'do not even try it'

He let out a small chuckle

"𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂"- Mikasa said

"𝗢𝗵 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲 𝗼𝗻!" - Historia begged

Mikasa kept shaking her head no.

"𝗚𝘂𝘆𝘀 𝗹𝗲𝘁'𝘀 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗯𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗿, 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗰𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝘄𝗮𝘆𝘀"- Annie said while walking away with Reiner and Bertholdt

Everyone said bye and started walking away and Mikasa put her earbuds back in her ears.

I didn't really want to go so I sat beside her.

"𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗱𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁?"- Mikasa said clearly annoyed

"𝗼𝗵 𝘂𝗵𝗺, 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗜 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘄𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁'𝘀 𝗮𝗹𝗹"- I said nervously

"𝗡𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗼𝘄 𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮𝗹𝗼𝗻𝗲" -She said not even looking at me.

I got fed up with her attitude and said something I would soon regret.

"𝗢𝗸 𝘄𝗵𝗮𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗳𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝘀 𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗷𝘂𝘀𝘁 𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗹𝗼𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝗽 𝗮 𝗯𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗵" - I said while looking around.

I turned back to her and could see one single tear fall.

I was shocked and quickly apologized.

"𝗜 𝗮𝗺 𝘀𝗼 𝘀𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘆, 𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗲 𝗜 𝗱𝗶𝗱𝗻'𝘁 𝗺𝗲𝗮𝗻 𝘁𝗼 𝗜 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗷𝘂-"- She cut me off

"𝗦𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁, 𝗜 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗴𝗼"- She said while getting up and wiping the single tear away and walking to car that had just pulled up.

I mentally face palmed.

'𝗛𝗼𝘄 𝘀𝘁𝘂𝗽𝗶𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗮 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝘀𝗵' - I said in my head

I got up and started walking away from the bench.

𝗠𝗶𝗸𝗮𝘀𝗮'𝘀 𝗣𝗢𝗩:

I got in the car and didn't say anything the whole ride.

I kept replaying what Eren said in ny head.

'𝙊𝙠 𝙬𝙝𝙖𝙩'𝙨 𝙬𝙞𝙩𝙝 𝙮𝙤𝙪, 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙘𝙖𝙣'𝙩 𝙢𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙛𝙧𝙞𝙚𝙣𝙙𝙨 𝙤𝙧 𝙨𝙤𝙢𝙚𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙣𝙜, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙧𝙮 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙡𝙤𝙤𝙨𝙚𝙣 𝙪𝙥 𝙖 𝙗𝙞𝙩 𝙜𝙤𝙨𝙝'

Another tear fell and I quickly wiped it away.

We soon arrived home and I just quickly walked into the house then up the stairs to my room.

I quickly changed into my pajamas and started my homework.

An hour passed and I was all done and decided to go downstairs and make dinner, it was around 6:17 pm and I needed to be in bed by 10 pm so I had 3 hours and 43 minutes, I calculated in my head.

I eventaully made nothing because I sucked at cooking and just ordered some chinese food.

It was around 6:47 when the food arrived.

I payed the delivery guy and then he asked me if I had a boyfriend and I just glared daggers down his throat and slammed the door in his face.

I started eating my chinese food and then stopped and took one good look at the food.

*𝑓𝑙𝑎𝑠ℎ𝑏𝑎𝑐𝑘*

"𝑻𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝑴𝒓𝒔.𝑨𝒄𝒌𝒆𝒓𝒎𝒂𝒏 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝒕𝒉𝒆 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒅!" - Alice said

"𝒀𝒆𝒂, 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒏𝒌 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒔𝒐 𝒎𝒖𝒄𝒉"- Mike, Sacai and Xavier said in unison.

𝑴𝒊𝒌𝒂𝒔𝒂 𝒔𝒎𝒊𝒍𝒆𝒅 𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒆𝒓 𝒇𝒓𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒅𝒔 𝒂𝒔 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒚 𝒄𝒐𝒏𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒖𝒆𝒅 𝒆𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒊𝒓 𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒆𝒔𝒆 𝒇𝒐𝒐𝒅 𝒘𝒉𝒊𝒍𝒆 𝒘𝒂𝒕𝒄𝒉𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝒕𝒆𝒍𝒆𝒕𝒖𝒃𝒃𝒊𝒆𝒔

A tear fell from Mikasa's eyes and then more kept coming.

She dropped her food on the table, didn't even bother to clean it up and ran upstairs to her room.

She layed on her bed staring at her ceiling that every fun memory of her closest friends from years ago.

Bunch of pictures plastered on her ceiling.

She closed her eyes and silently cried for hours until finally falling asleep.

First time Mikasa had cried in ages.
