~Chapter Twenty~

The next day Cole talked with the other ninja and started planning. He was going to make things right again. "Is it big?" Cole asked them. "Oh yeah, more like huge! And roomy! She'll love it!" Jay says with a smile. "Good, I'll bring her there when I'm done. And what time is she coming over Zane?"

"I will pick her up at 1:20 in the afternoon, we should probably get here around 1:22." "Perfect! Okay around that time, you guys move the stuff over to the place, got it." "Got it." They all said. "Alrighty then! Time to make things right." Cole says with a smile.

You arrived home from work and you collapsed on the couch from exhaustion. You take the wrappings that Zane gave you as he told you to try taking it off before lunch. You were surprised that the bruises were gone! 'That Nindroid is a miracle worker!' You thought to yourself.

You went to the kitchen to get something to eat before Zane could pick you up and you stopped when you saw your mom sitting on a stool with her head down on the table. She looked asleep so you quietly shuffled through the kitchen.

You made a sandwich then sat back down on the couch to eat it. After lunch you got ready to go back to the monastery. You weren't sure if you were ready to face Cole yet but you trusted Zane. You put your blue jacket on and ran your fingers through your hair to smoothen it out a little. There was a knock on the door and you smiled when you saw it was Zane. "Greeting Chloe, are you ready?" He says. You think for a minute then nod yes. You leave the house then close the door behind you.

"Woah, woah, woah! That chopper is yours?!" You ask Zane as you two approach his white copter with blue ice decals on it and a lot of weaponry on it. Zane opened the door for you and smiled. You got in and buckled up. "Chloe, may I welcome you to my NinjaCopter! A little something a hacked into awhile back." Zane says with a smile and starts up the engine. "Why no dragon this time?" You ask him as you guys ascend into the air.

"I am not quite sure, I guess I was in a hurry and forgot about my dragon. But it is nice to not use elemental powers for a bit." He tells you and flies off. "Guess so. Well it is pretty fast!" You say. In no time you two arrived at the monastery. Zane landed his NinjaCopter and you two got off. He lead you to the door of the monastery and opened it for you. You stayed on the front step looking inside, you were really going to do this. You step inside the building and Zane closes the door behind him.

"He is in his room, Follow me." He says and leads you upstairs to the door. You are about to knock but your hand stops right before it hits the door. "I-i don't know." You say as tears start to come down your face. "You can do it. Remember, everyone deserves a second chance. Let Cole talk to you." Zane says with a small smile. You use your other hand and wipe your tears then nod. You breathe in and out then knock on his door. "I'll be outside here if you need me." Zane says as he leans against the wall.

"Come in!" Cole says from the other side of the door. Your heart beats when you hear his husky voice again. You put your hand on the doorknob and look at Zane. Zane smiles at you and gestures for you to go in. You breathe in and out again then enter Cole's room. You gasp and let a tear fall when you see that Cole was in ghost form. Cole goes over to you with a small smile. "Cole...Y-you really are a ghost..." You say as you try to touch him but your hand just goes right through him.

Cole concentrates then holds your hand and puts his other hand on your cheek. "Cole...Z-zane was right..." "I know....but I'm okay." You knew that this had to be your fault. You put your hand on Cole's ghostly cheek and let a tear fall. "Don't cry." "But Cole, you gave up, because I didn't listen to you and look at you!" "Chloe it's not your fault it's mine. I was the one who gave up but not anymore. I'll never give up on you. Just please don't cry....seriously don't cry water can kill me." He says

You let go of him and wipe your tears with a chuckle. "I'm willing to give you a second chance unless you tell your side of things the right way." You tell him. Cole nods then gets serious. "Okay, here's what happened. And this is the truth. So, the guys and I were on a mission one day and I met the phantom ninja, and that girl that I told you about, yeah that was her, her name is Seliel, not that you care. Anyways, so yeah we became friends, she helped us a little on the mission, blah blah blah, she had to go for awhile on the other side of Ninjago for a mission on her on and that was the last time her saw her." Cole explains

"So, the guys wanted to surprise me and when Seliel was done with her mission they invited her over to stay here for a week. Yeah, they didn't know that you were coming over on the same day she was coming. So they left me alone with her. Yeah we talked and stuff but then she got all...flirty and she was a bit too close, so I scooted away from her but of course she scooted closer. I knew something bad was gonna happen soon. Then she told me that she liked me. I tried telling her that I'm taken and that I'm flattered but it was too late. She got on me and started kissing me!" Cole got quiet for a minute and you just hugged yourself tight, feeling hurt again.

"Why didn't you pull away?" You ask him. "I wanted to! Believe me I did! But something went wrong in me and...I liked the kiss." Tears started falling from your face and you turned away from Cole, not wanting to look at him. "I'm sorry Chloe, and I know I've said it so many times but i mean it and it's true. Later on...I did realize that I said that it would never happen and that is never kiss her...I-i guess I did lie...and I'm sorry. I never meant to break your heart. And I won't let us go down like this! I never meant to make you cry. Whatever it takes. Ghost form or normal, I'll do what it takes to make this right. I promise, and this time I'm going to keep my promise."

"How do I know you're not going to break my heart again Cole? Tell me that giving you a second chance is right! I want to believe it so badly! but I don't want to get hurt." You say as you turn back around and look at him. Cole looks at your tear stained face and frowns at how much he broke you.

"Chloe, I really do love you and I mean it. I want to fix things and make things right. You have to trust me on this. I never want to hurt you again. Please, give me a second chance. It's been a hard couple of days without you Chloe and I can't live a day knowing that I've hurt you! And I want to fix this...." Cole says

You look at Cole and step closer to him. "Do you trust me?" He asks you. You stop crying and look into his eyes. "Y-yes...A-and I-i love you too...Cole." You say. Cole smiles at you and you connect your lips to his ghostly ones. Cole puts his arms around you, pulling you closer. As you kissed him you realized they changed, into his normal, soft ones. You pull away from call and gasp as you see that he is changing back to his normal form. Cole looks down at himself and smiles. "Y-you changed me back!" He tells you.

You smile and chuckle and Cole picks you up and spins you around before putting you down again for another kiss. "I missed you so much..." He tells you Inbetween the kiss. "You too..." You say. You both then let go and stay in each other's arms. Your boyfriend was back. Cole then let's go of you then smiles.

"I believe this belongs to you." Cole says as he takes your charm bracelet out of his pocket. You gave him your wrist and let him put the bracelet back on. You smiled and looked at the charms again, realizing that there's a new one.

"Infinity?" You ask him. "To show that we'll be together for infinity....and I'll make sure of it." He tells you. You smile and thank him. "Now, I have one last thing to give you. You probably won't take it but you pretty much have no choice." Cole says as he takes your hand and brings you outside his room.

You chuckle then smile at Zane, zane follows you two downstairs and smiles back at you. You all leave the monastery and Cole looks at Zane. "See you there?" He asks him and he nods as he heads inside his NinjaCopter.

"Hold up let me just summon my-" Cole starts but stops when you two hear a loud roar and a thump. "It came from the backyard!" You tell him. You both run to the backyard and gasp in surprise when an scaly old friend of yours is in the backyard. "NIMBUS!" You both yell and run to him for a hug. Nimbus roars happily and pulls you two in for a hug. "Here for a visit big guy?" Cole asks nimbus and nimbus smiles and nods.

"Looks like I have both my boys back today" you say as you hug nimbus. "How about we go for a ride big guy!" Cole says as he hops on nimbus' saddle. You get on too and wrap your arms around Cole's waist. Cole grabs the reins and yanks them, signaling for nimbus to fly off. "We're are we going anyways?" You ask him. Cole just smiles, "You'll see." You tell him. You both arrive at Ninjago City and Cole lands nimbus on top of a building. "Stay right here big guy, we'll be back." Cole instructs and nimbus nods.

"You sure it's okay to have a dragon land on a random building in the city?" You ask Cole as you two get of nimbus. "For this building, it's totally okay. Now come on!" Cole says as he grabs your hand and leads you to a door on the roof. You chuckle and Cole brings you down the steps. You both make it to a hallway with many doors. They had numbers on them. "Cole where are we? And where are we going?!" You ask him as you both go down the hallway.

Cole doesn't answer and stops in front of Door 24. Cole pulls a key out of his pocket and unlocks the door. "Cole don't tell me this is-" you start but stop once Cole opens the door and you see the inside of an apartment. More like a penthouse. You gasp and see the other four ninja there smiling at you. "Surprise!!!" They all say with jazz hands. "Cole! You bought me a penthouse suite!?!" You ask him as you enter the place. "The guys picked it out! And brought all your stuff from home and put it here." Cole says.

"Cole! You know I wanted to pay for it myself!" "Don't worry you did! The money Zane 'Borrowed' from you was all part of the plan! So half of the money paid for this place was yours and the rest was ours!" "Cole! Penthouses are expensive!! And I gotta pay for this every month you know! And it's like 2,000!!" "Relax! We talked to your boss at your job and he agreed to double your pay! You should have enough!" "But-" "Shh." "But-" "No take backs!" "But-" "Shh." Cole says as he puts his finger on your lips.

You shut up then look around the place again. "So, do you like it? Well you gotta like it." Kai asks and the others nod. "How can I ever repay you guys?!" You ask them all. A choruses of "No's" "It's fine." Came from all of them. You smile widely then kiss Cole. "Ew! Guys! At least warn us before you do that!" Lloyd says as he covers his face.

You let go of Cole then you all laugh. "Ugh! You guys are the best! I love you all!!! Thank you so much!!" You thank them. A choruses of "No problem's" and "Your welcome's" filled the room. "GROUP HUGGGG!!!" Jay yelled and you all laughed and hugged in a group hug.

"What about my parents though?" You ask them. "Yeah, you might still want say goodbye to them though." Zane says. You nod then smile. "Later then, but hey! What's a new house without a house party!!" You ask them. "I'll call Nya!!" Jay says as he leaves the room real quick. They all cheer and Kai hits a button on the remote making music blast through the room. The lights dim and a disco ball came down from the ceiling. They all dance while you bring Cole out to the balcony.

You close the door then look at the view from your New penthouse. "Two things, One, I'm so glad to be back together with you. Two, thank you so much." You tell him as you put your arms around his neck. Cole smiles and puts his hands on your waist. "I'm glad we're back together too.

I'd do anything for you Chloe." He says. You blush and Cole pulls you closer to him. "I love you Chloe." He says. "I love you too Cole." You said. Then you two crash your lips into each other for a soft, sweet kiss.
