1st Person POV-

"Holy shit, it's a trap house." I whispered to myself as we followed Kazutora into the Valhalla hideout. "Ooh, it stank."

As we walked closer to a crowd of members, we heard punching.

"Oh...Chifuyu..." I said, as we were closer to the center.

"Kazutora-kun...what's happening?" Takemichi asked.

"This is a test of faith." Kazutora told him.

"A test of faith?" Takemichi asked.

"It's to test Baji's belief in our group. Going from Toman to Valhalla is like changing religions. You need to show resolve. The guy Baji's beating on right now is Toman's 1st Division Vice Captain. He's Baji's most trusted retainer." Kazutora explained.

"The 1st Division Vice Captain?!"

"Toman is Valhalla's enemy." Kazutora said. "If he's gonna betray his old god Mikey, he's gotta stomp out his old beliefs."

"I'm not gonna lie to you...this is fucked up." I said.

"It's all part of the process." Kazutora told me.

Baji finished, leaving a nearly dead Chifuyu on the floor.

"Well? That good enough for you, Hanma-kun? You gonna let me into Valhalla now?" Baji asked.

"Damn, dude. That guy's been on your side forever." Yellow striped hair said.

"Surprised you went that far." A bald guy said.

"What? I didn't come here for a friggin' lecture." Baji said.

Hanma got up and called out, "Kazutora!"

"Hey." Kazutora said.

"Ya ready?" Hanma asked.

"Yup. This is Takemichi Hanagaki and Y/n L/n. They're new members of Toman." Kazutora said, looking at us.

"Huh?!" Takemichi said.

"Kazu, you snitch." I told him, frowning.

Hanma hopped down from his spot and walked over to us.

"Come on you two. Get up here." Hanma said.

"Go!" Someone pushed us.

"Don't fucking touch me-"

"Not the time." Takemichi whispered to me. We were now in front of Baji.

"You're the twerp from the other day. And you're Y/n. Did you come here to get killed?" Baji asked us.

"This was by force. I did NOT volunteer for any of this." I said truthfully.

"Kill them!"

"Kill them! Kill them! Kill them! Kill them!"

"I wish these motherfuckers would." I thought, rolling my eyes.

Hanma raised his hand to silence the npcs.

"One of Toman's founding members and its 1st Division Captain, Keisuke Baji ! He says he wants to leave Toman behind and join Valhalla!" Hanma said.

Valhalla members began to whisper.

"Yes! this is one hell of a deal! Baji joining us will be a huge help in our plan to crush Toman. But first, we need to make sure of something." Hanma said. "He might be a Toman spy."

"Omggg. No fucking shittt." I thought.

"Which is why we had Kazutora prepare witnesses." Hanma said. "We'll now summon the witnesses!"

"Takemichi Hanagaki. Y/n L/n." Hanma said.

"What?" I asked.

"Yes?" Takemichi replied.

"What did Baji here say at the last Toman gathering?"

"He said that he was now an enemy of Toman." I answered.

"And that he was going to Valhalla." Takemichi added.

"What do you think, Kazutora?" Hanma asked.

"We did a test of faith and summoned a witness." Kazutora said. "That's probably good enough. Baji's gonna be pretty useful and he knows a lot about what's gone on in Toman since I've been gone. He's definitely worth bringing into Valhalla."

There was a pause.

"What do you think Baji? We're gonna crush Toman and kill Mikey." Kazutora told Baji.

"Yeah." Baji said, and he bowed. "I'll help you out, Kazutora."

This shit can't be happening right now.

"I think that's enough." Kazutora said.

Hanma smiled in approval. "All right! Starting today, Keisuke Baji is a member of Valhalla!" He said.

The Valhalla npcs cheered.

"You're kidding me..." Takemichi mumbled.

"At this point, we might as well leave Baji here." I told him.

"Wait!" Takemichi said, desperately. "You're one of the founding members of Toman along with Mikey-kun, right, Baji-kun? Why are you betraying them?!"

"Right. I smell something fishy." I said.

"I'm a founding member of Toman, so I shouldn't betray them?" Baji said and then grinned. "Give me a break. Kazutora's a founding member, too."

"Kazutora has a grudge against Toman. I'll never forget it..."

The wonderful next morning, me and Takemichi we're walking down the street.

"I'm so tired." Takemichi complained.

"Shiii...you and me both." I said to Takemichi.

"Hey! Y/n! Blondie!" A voice called to us.

We look over, and it's Chifuyuuuu!

"Come over!" Chifuyu called.

Takemichi's dumbass tries to walk away so I grab his arm.

"Stop playing." I told him.

"Guess we had a pretty rough day yesterday." Chifuyu said.

"Huh? Yesterday?" Takemichi said dumbly.

"Isn't Baji-san just awesome?" Chifuyu said.

"I don't know man, he's been kinda bitchy at the moment." I told Chifuyu.

"You're...Baji-kun's friend?" Takemichi asked.

"I'm the Tokyo Manji Gang 1st division captain, Chifuyu Matsuno." Chifuyu said, introducing himself.

"What?" Takemichi exclaimed.

He jumps down to the swings and I go after him.

"You're the one Baji-kun beat the shit out of!" Takemichi said, pointing a finger at him.

"Right back at ya." Chifuyu said, pushing his hand away.

"Don't point, Takemichi, it's rude." I told him in a stern voice.

"Sorry..." Takemichi muttered.

"You better thank Baji-san." Chifuyu said.

"Huh? Wh-Why?" Takemichi stuttered.

"You ruined the ceremony to appoint the captain for the 3rd division." Chifuyu said.

I bumped Takemichi's arm and he looked away in guilt.

"So if Baji-san hadn't slugged you, you would've been even worse off." Chiuyu finished.

Takemichi settled into swing next to Chifuyu and I stood in between them.

"The reason Baji-san beat me up is to get into Valhalla." Chifuyu explained. "But he didn't join Valhalla to crush Toman.

Chifuyu got up.

"Baji-san's got something else in mind. It's Kisaki." Chifuyu said.

"What?!" Takemichi said, and got up in surprise.

I made a sound in agreement.

"Baji-san wants to expose Kisaki. That's why he joined Valhalla." Chifuyu said.

Of course I already knew this (because your sort of an impostor if you think abt it lol) so it was no surprise.

We were at Mikey's parents grave with Mikey and Draken.

"I see." Mikey began. "So you heard about my brother."

"Shinichiro-kun was so badass." Draken said.

"Yeah..." Mikey agreed.

"Takemitchy...Y/n..." Draken began. "We know. We know there's nothing we can do about that incident. It's not like Baji or Kazutora meant for it to go down like that."

"Yeah..."Mikey said again, getting up. "I know there's nothing we can do. But my heart can't accept it."

We were now walking in the rain, out of the graveyard.

"The CB250T that Baji and Kazutora tried to steal was my brother's." Mikey said.

"What?"

"It was supposed to be my birthday present. That CB250T is all I've got left of my brother. It's my precious ride. It's been two years now. I've forgiven Baji." Mikey said. "But...even if they didn't know, and even if there's nothing we can do about it now...Kazutora hurt my brother and put him in coma. I'll never be able to forgive him for that. Or Baji for going over to Kazutora's side."

"If only he knew..." You thought.

"Takemitchy...Y/n..." Mikey said.

Uh oh.

"I'm pretty sure I asked you two to bring Baji back. What's Baji's vice captain doing here instead of him? What are you two trying to do? Do you really want to die?"

"Yes, right now I do. Out of embarrassment." I thought, playing with the ends of my hair.

"I, uh..." Takemichi stuttered out.

"Baji-san joined Valhalla so he could investigate Kisaki." Chifuyu explained.

"Does that mean...Valhalla and Kisaki are connected?" Takemichi asked.

"Yeah." I said.

"Probably." Chifuyu said.

He turned to look at me in surprise. "What do you mean 'yeah'? Do you know something?"

"Uhhhh...."

"Shit! Me and my big ass mouth..." I thought.

"I said it off of impulse. I actually don't know." I lied.

"Oh, alright." Chifuyu said, taking the bait. "Anyways, if Baji-san's gonna investigate from within Valhalla, I want to investigate Kisaki as much as I can from the outside. Help me out, Y/n, Takemitchy."

"Boy, what?" I said.

"I have to do something." Chifuyu said. "Because...he always flies off the handle so easily on his own."

That's right. I still have to stop Kazutora from stabbing Baji AND stop Baji from killing himself so Mikey doesn't kill Kazutora and so Chifuyu won't become depressed and so I don't have to attend a funeral. :D

"He's investigating Kisaki? Baji-kun said that himself?" Takemichi asked.

"Huh? Oh, no, he didn't say that." Chifuyu said. "But I can tell. I know what he's thinking. Because I've been by his side for so long."

"What I wanna do is simple. I want to help Baji-san out. What about you two?" Chifuyu asked.

"Huh?" Takemichi said.

"I don't know, man." I said.

"Takemichi, the ceremony to welcome the new 3rd division captain...you slugged Kisaki in that dangerous situation. What the hell were you trying to do?" Chifuyu asked Takemichi.

"Oh, so this don't concern me so I'm good." I said.

"No, I want your help too." Chifuyu said.

I rolled my eyes. Dammit. I kinda wanna drop out and find a way to leave this shitty ass universe. I kinda miss home. I miss filming fights all the time and being late to school getting food and selling the videos from the fights...I kinda don't like this anymore. What if I die? Do I go back? What am I going to do?

________Back at the Graveyard_____

I just remembered. Takemichi is about to say something stupid. Holy shit. What do I do? Stop him from embarrassing himself? Let it happen?

Stop him from embarrassing himself.

"I-OW! THE FUCK?"

I harshly slammed my foot on Takemichi's toe.

"Sorry, there was a bug on your foot." I lied.

"IT'S RAINING???" Takemichi said, offendedly.

"Water bug." I said.

"What the hell." Takemichi said.

"Sorry, dude. I was trying to help YOU out." I said.

"By nearly breaking my toe??" Takemichi asked.

"Whatever it takes, buddy." I said, sincerely, patting his shoulder.

Takemichi looked extremely annoyed at me.

"That was so outta pocket, Y/n." Chifuyu said.

"Right, because why the fuck did you obliterate my toe?" Takemichi asked me accusingly.

"So you see... I have this instinct. You were about to say something totally stupid and embarrassing and so I stopped you for your own good." I said.

"What??"

"Well, what were you gonna say back there? It'll prove if I was right or not." I said.

Chifuyu and I waited for his answer.

"Well, I was about to tell Mikey I would be the top of Toman-"

"See?" I said, interrupting.

"You're insane. You better thank Y/n for stepping on your toe." Chifuyu said matter-of-factly.

"Yeah...now that I think about it...saying that would be kinda stupid." Takemichi admitted.

"Your welcome, bitch." I told him.

"No thanks. I'm still pissed at you." Takemichi told me.

"BOY-"

"How about this?" Chifuyu said, speaking up.

"I'll help you get to the top of Toman if you help me out with what I'm trying to do." Chifuyu said.

"Does that mean you think I could actually make it to the top of Toman?" Takemichi asked.

"Hell no." Chifuyu said.

"I knew it! You're making fun of me, aren't you?!" Takemichi asked offendedly.

"I would." I said laughing.

"Oh, shut your mouth!" Takemichi told me.

"I'll help you out, though." Chifuyu said.

"Fine, we'll help you out too." Takemichi said.

"Nice to be working with you, partners! By the way, we're in the same grade, so you can always skip the formalities with me." Chifuyu said.

"I know." I said.

"What?! We are? Why did any of you say anything??" Takemichi said.

Chifuyu laughed and said, "You didn't even hesitate."

"Well, you're vice captain, so I figured you were older than me." Takemichi said. "Oh, though I guess you outrank me in Toman, anyway."

Takemichi muttered a bit more under his breath.

"First I want to find out the connectuon between Valhalla and Kisaki." Chifuyu said.

"You got any leads?" Takemichi asked.

"I do." Chifuyu responded.
