Your POV (i promise this will be the last one, or not >:])

I was doodling in my notebook because class got really boring. Takemichi is mumbling to himself and playing around with his pencil.

Yesterday, Takemichi and I met the wonderful Mikey and Draken! Now I'm just waiting for something interesting to happen because the teacher is talking about math. Ew.

But then, I heard commotion from down the hall.

"They're here <3!" I thought.

I heard punching sounds and then Mikey opened the door.

"Hey, there they are." Mikey said.

"Come play with us, Takemitchy and Y/n-chan!" Mikey said.

"U-um I'm in the middle of class right now..." mumbled the teacher.

Takemichi and I got up and went with Mikey. When we got outside the door, there were a bunch of third years all beaten up.

"Damn..." I said, a bit surprised but the scene was funny so I laughed a little.

"Um, what's this?" Takemichi said pointing at the mess.

"Huh? This? They pissed me off, so I beat their asses." Draken said casually. "All of you wimps, line up. Lay down on your stomachs."

"Hey, you're too far apart. This is gonna hurt you more than it hurts me." Draken said to one guy.

One guy started mumbling, "What's he gonna do to us?"

"Oh, you'll see." I thought smiling a little.

Immediately, Mikey and Draken started hopping on the guys backs, one by one. I wanted to join, but I restrained my self and walked on the side with Takemichi like a normal person :).

"Apparently Udagawa's crew is trying to gain control of Shinsen." Draken said to Mikey.

"Cool, let's kick some ass!" Mikey answered.

Takemichi looked scared and constipated after that interaction.

"I guess he does think that they're monsters! That's funny, because they actually kinda are." I thought.

"You been good?" Draken said, slinging his arms around me and Takemichi's shoulders.

"But you saw us yesterday." I said and laughed nervously. Draken is actually has his arm aorund me right now! This is the coolest thing that's probably ever happened to me!

"You guys are free today, right?" Mikey asked.

"Yeah, sure." I shrugged. I have nothing else better to do. Remember, fuck math 👍.

"Actually, I'm not." Takemichi said.

"Come hang with us anyway." Mikey said.

"Mikey-kun, are you listening to me?"

Then I heard some kids mumbling. I turn around, it looks like the whole school is out of class just to see us.

"Damn, they really famous." I thought.

"Okay, let's go." Mikey said.

"Wait!"

We all turned to see who the voice was, and it was the lovely Hinata Tachinbana :).

"Hina? Sorry, I'm a little busy..." Takemichi said nervously.

Hinata said noting, but she did slap Mikey right across his face!

Everyone gasped and Draken looked like he was about to kill. I however, let a giggle slip and Draken looked down at me and snarled.

"Let's go, Takemichi! Don't let these people bully you!" Hinata said, pulling Takemichi away.

Hinata thinks I'm a bully? :(

Draken grabbed Hina's arm and said, "Hey, don't make me kill you, brat."

I frowned at him. How could he speak to the All Powerful Hinata that way?!

"You slap him outta nowhere, and now you're peacing out? Who the hell do you think you are?" Draken said.

"Who the hell do you think you are?" Hinata said, confindently. "You just waltz into a school you don't go to and try to take him by force. That's not something friends do!"

I was fighting the urge to yell out "SLAYYYY!"

"Takemichi is coming home injured all the time lately! And if that's because of you, I'll put a stop to it!" Hinata finished, turning to face Draken.

"Let go of her." Takemichi whispered, putting a hand a Draken's shoulder.

"Period, stand up for yo girl!" I thought.

"What was that? I don't think I heard you clearly!" Draken said. He looks really mad 🫢.

"I said, let go of her, you asshole!" Takemichi said, much louder this time.

"So...Who do you think you're talking to?" Draken said, leaning down to Takemichi's height.

"Aw...And I thought we could be friends. Now the question is...How do you want to die?" Mikey said with a scary look on his face.

"Oh shit..." I whispered, adding spice to the situation, because I knew it was a joke.

Takemichi looked like he was going to shit himself as Mikey went over there.

"Just promise me...Just promise me one thing!" Takemichi said.

Mikey and Draken looked at him.

"Don't ever lay a finger on Hina!"

"I'm so proud..." I whispered wiping a tear on my face.

"What? Like I care." Mikey said, raising his fist.

Takemichi braced himself for impact, but it never came because of course, Mikey faked him out.

"JK!" Mikey said gleefully. "Jeez you're so gullible, Takemitchy."

Takemichi was baffled. He looked like he had never been so bamboozled in his life.

Mikey would towards the lockers and said, "Like I'd ever hit a girl."

Takemichi sighed with relief and Draken put an arm around his shoulder.

"Takemitchy...You actually threatened me." He said.

"S-sorry." Takemichi said.

"It's cool. There are times when you can't give up. There aren't many guys who'd say that about a girl these days. That's old school."

Takemichi laughed nervously.

I laughed at Takemichi and said, "Takemichi, you look like you almost shit yourself!"

Takemichi sweat-dropped at me laughing and Draken smiled at me.

Then, Draken went to the door where Mikey was and said, "You're pretty cool."

I followed after, and heard Hina say, "Takemichi-kun, what's with those guys?"

"I'm sorry! I had the wrong idea about you!" Hinata apologized, looking quite embarrassed.

"It's fine. That was one hell of a slap, though." Mikey said, smiling slightly while putting a hand on his face cheek.

"I'm so sorry!" Hinata said, bowing again.

"It's fine to do what you can for the one you like, but don't push yourself too much. Things can go really wrong, depending on who you're dealing with." Mikey said, sounding all wise and shit.

"How inspirational..." I said, wiping another tear from my face.

"Right!" Hinata said and Mikey giggled a bit.

"Okay, I'm gonna go." Hinata said turning and walking away.

"Uh, sure...wait, what about our date?!" Takemichi asked.

"We can do that another time. Your friends came to see you, after all!" Hinata said, waving to him.

"Bye-bye! Don't slap me next time!" Mikey called to Hinata.

"She seems nice." Mikey said. "It's rare to find someone like her. Make sure you take good care of her."

Takemichi looked back at him all weird and I patted his back saying, "She's a good girlfriend, Takemichi. You're lucky to have her."

"Yeah," Takemichi said, looking at me. "You're right."

I smiled.

We were riding on the bike road, I was on the back of Draken's bike and he was pedaling.

"Say...Mikey-kun. So, uh... Why did you like me all of a sudden?" Takemichi asked Mikey.

"What a dumb question." Mikey said, rolling his eyes a bit.

"Ah... sorry about that." Takemichi said.

"I have a brother who's ten years older than me. He's he's in a coma right now."

"Oh..." I whispered. I knew Shinichiro died...but what does he mean that he's in coma?? Is the universe changing things?

"He was totally reckless. He had no problem picking fights with guys way stronger than him." Mikey said.

"I see. He must've been pretty cool." Takemichi said.

"You remind me of my brother, Takemitchy." Mikey said and he smiled.

"B-But I'm not that cool at all!" Takemichi said, getting ahead of himself. "How do I seem like that?"

"Yeah, he definitely wasn't lame like you, Takemitchy." Mikey responded.

"Now, that's just mean." Takemichi said.

I laughed. Mikey seemed so nice, but dragged Takemichi at the same time. Mikey's kinda unpredictable. Full of surprises.

"But, why do you like Y/n? Does she remind you of anyone?" Takemichi asked.

I jumped at my name being mentioned.

Mikey looked back at me and said, "Well, actually she's pretty cute. She doesn't even seem scared of me or Ken-chin. And she didn't seem afraid at all when she went to stop Kiyomasa from nearly killing you. She's cool." He chuckled a bit and smiled at me. "Also, her laugh is cute too."

I got a bit flustered and laughed nervously in response to what Mikey said. I seem to let out a lot of laughs.

"See?" Mikey said.

"Ohhh..." Takemichi said.

After the bike ride, Draken and Mikey talked to Takemichi and I for a bit and then we went to walk home. It was a comfortable silence as we walked, but then I familiar face went past us. I turned to get a better look...

It was Kisaki.

I turned back around because my eyes were burning. He was so ugly 🤢!

Takemitchy saw him too and turned around. "Why do I feel like I've seen him before...? he mumbled.

"Because you have, dummy." Is what I wanted to say, but that would make him suspicious so I stayed quiet.
