chapter 7

Po takes his sister to her room Haku sighs softly turn to him

  "night Po " she said softly

"hey it's gonna be alright sis don't worry a whisker " he pokes her nose. Haku blinks wiggle her nose

"wish you stop doing that" she said cracking a smile

"but I won't " said Po

" night sis" he kisses her head and and left for his room she closes the sliding door and sat down on the floor in deep thought her ears perk up hearing voices of the survents who work here I liston to what they are saying

"those two but especially the blind one Oogway is loosing his touch " one said not knowing that he is gone now

"I know at least the fatty can sit on the guy but what can she do? She's useless?" The second voice said as they walk off. Poor Haku ears lay flat smile was fading away

" well that hurt " she said standing up "can't take it anymore " she said going out of her took and took off running don't know where she is going but she's going left right right left felt like crying

' their right I'm dead weight' she thought not slowing down her pace what felt like hours she found herself inside a cave she pats the cave wall then slowly sat down panting trying to catch her breath then froze eating flapping like sounds she sprang into action

"who's there?!" She demands

'man I I hope its friendly or I'm a goner! ' she scream in her head

" oh my a sad lost baby lynx " said many voices surrounding Haku

"hey! I am not lost okay?!... Okay maybe I am but who are you?!" She shouts trying to figure out how many there are

"we're just poor blind lost bats " "bats?" She perked backing up a bit

" wait blind?" She asked

" and yet see more then most " said many behind her making her jump a bit grumbling arms across

"well lucky you can see without eyes I can't even find the bathroom" she mumbles

" that's cause you are ignorant to your surroundings sad lynx " a voice said next to her ear

" we can tell what you are wearing sad lynx " said a bat by her foot and they each take turns mocking her she starts to freak out put her hands over her ears then a idea struck to her she lifts her paws

"can you help me? Train me to see like you do I am tired of being useless to everyone " said Haku hoping they say yes. The bats huddled

" shall we accept her as one of us?"

"Yes we should we should indeed "

" she'll make a wonderful perch "

then the bats fly around her chanting

" we accept you one of us! We accept you one of us!" Haku bring out the biggest smile that she ever did

" thank you thank you so much " she said thankful and thought ' just you wait I be back and better and not be useless just wait Po!' The morning sun starts to raise and the training began ..

Later that day back at the palace Po and Shifu return from the mountains from training entering the palace courtyard. Po has an easy spring to his step

" you done well panda " said Shifu

" done well? Done well?! I've done awesome!" Po swings his belly around and knocks Shifu off his balance though he quickly regains his dignity then said

" the mark of a true hero is humility ... But yes ...you have done..."

White then playfully punches Po on the side hard enough for him to stagger

" awesome " their chuckles falter when they hear approaching flapping around. An indistinct figure appears in the clouds behind them...its Crane

"huh?" Said Po confused. Crane carries the five to the palace grounds crashing in a heap. His paralyzed comrades are scattered in the middle of the courtyard Shifu is speechless "guys? Guys!" Po throws his backpack aside and run over to them. He freaks

" they're dead?! No, they're breathing! They're asleep?! No, their eyes are open..." Crane is exhausted his feather are ruffled out of breath he spoke

" we were no match for his nerve attack " " he has gotten stronger

" said Shifu then presses some pressure points on Mantis chest freeing him

" who? Tai Lung? Stronger?"Po asked Shifu starts freeing monkey while Po leans over them. Monkey releases from his paralysis and delivers a punch to Po head

"he's to fast!" Monkey slowly realize where he is

" sorry Po " Shifu kneels before tigress and work to free her she revives with a gasp then said in a shame

" I thought we could stop him" Shifu looks at her

" he could have kill you" he said

" why didn't he?" Monkey asked

" most likely to strike fear into our hearts. But it won't work!" He explains

" uh, it might... I mean a little I'm pretty scared...

wait where's Haku?" Po asked looking around noticing she is missing the five and Shifu notice it as was ell they look around Crane was worried

"she could be lost" said monkey

"no then you hear crashing noises " crane tells him as a goose ran up

" master Shifu we can't find the sister anywhere we think she ran off" said the frighten goose he got a worry look in his eye

"zeng! Go look for Haku at once!" He turn to the goose who yelps and flies off

" why would she ran away? She never does that!" Po shouts sending his hands in the air

" and how she even left the palace" mantis wonders "Po got even more worry  Shifu got a idea why

" I believe she ran cause she felt useless for us and got scared what may happen "

he said as Po looks down at him " then we got to find her!"

" and we will but first we have something to do " Shifu tells him

"follow me " inside the hall of warriors the dragon scroll rest in the mouth of the golden dragon on The ceiling Po stares at Shifu then looks up at the scroll then back at Shifu

" you really ... Believe I'm ready? Should we wait for Haku and find her?" He asked

"we will don't worry and you are ready" they look at each other this is a big moment Oogway staff hangs in a rack surrounded by candles of Oogway performing his usual Tai Chi beneath the peach tree. As Po and the five stand by Shifu carries the staff over to the reflecting pool Shifu bows his head and then eyes closed he raises the staff up above his head.

Po and the others watch expectantly. Then Shifu whirls the staff the peach blossoms petals rise in a flickering spinning cloud up from the pool the gentle tornado rises up around the ceiling carving that holds the dragon scroll the the petals loosen the scroll from the dragons mouth and it falls. At the last second

Shifu reaches out the staff to catch the scroll on the end of it he turns to Po holding the scroll out

" behold the dragon scroll it is yours and soon your sister's " said Shifu

" wait what happens when hen I read it ?" Po asked

" no one knows but legend says you will able to hear a butterfly's wing beat "Shifu explains

" whoa! Really? That's cool

" Shifu nods

" yes and see light in the deepest cave you will feel the universe in motion around you. " Po gets overexcited

"wow! Can I punch though walls? Can I do a quadruple back flip? will I have invisibility--" he gets cuts off

" focus focus " Shifu said

"huh? On, yeah yeah "

" read it Po and fulfill your destiny read it and become the dragon warrior "

" whooaa!!" Po takes these scroll and then gasp the tube and tries to pull the top off it. It doesn't budge he strains at it

" its impossible to open " Po strains again he tries to bite it off

" come on Baby come on now! " Shifu holds out his paw Po passes him the scroll Shifu pops the end off effortlessly and passes it back to Po

" thank you I probably loosended it up for you  though .... Okay here it goes " Po starts to unroll the scroll the golden light bathing his face Shifu exited that he's witness to history on Po fave as he finish opening the scroll
