Chapter 2

Erza ,Levy and Wendy burst through the guild doors looking panicked.

"Has anyone seen Lucy?" Erza demanded, making everyone's head turn towards them. Everyone shook their head, just now realizing that they hadn't seen the lovable blonde.

"Erza what's the matter?" Mira asked walking over to the trio.

"We can't find Lu-chan." Levy said.

"Well did you check her apartment?" Juvia asked joining the conversation.

"That's the thing, we just went there and it was completely empty." Wendy said.

"Maybe she's out running an errand." Mira suggested.

"It was empty as in no furniture or personal items. There weren't any traces of her" Erza said.

Wendy nodded her head, "Her scent was already gone too." she added.

"Maybe she moved to a different part of town." Gray shrugged standing beside Juvia.

"And not tell us. I don't think so!" Levy shouted. Gray rose his arms in surrender backing away from the small woman as Gajeel rushed over to calm Levy down.

Master Mackarov was watching the scene from the railing on the second floor. He sighed knowing what he was about to say would devastate his children.

He jumped off of the railing , landing on the bar counter, he cleared his throat calling the attention of everyone in the guild.

"Our beloved celestial mage Lucy Heartfilia has temporarily left the guild and Magnolia." The old man said, stunning the guild into silence before all hell broke loose.

Lucy woke up smiling. She stood up and headed straight to bathroom to brush her teeth and to full up her bath tub. She couldn't wait to have her first bath in her new home.

She squealed excitedly as she placed her foot in the bath tub. The water was just as warm as she wanted. Baths always made her worries go away, they always gave her a sense of relaxation and peace. That's why she'd always taken baths when she had time.

Lucy spent half an hour in the bath before it got cold. She got out and headed straight to her closet. It was a hot summer day so she picked out a pair of jean shorts (shorts stopped at her lower thigh) and a blue tank top with white sandals.

She headed downstairs to see breakfast already laid out for her on her kitchen counter. She ate, cleaned up and then headed out the door to take a walk into town.

She was once again greeted by many once she got into town.

She found a little magic shop and eagerly entered hoping to find new keys; which she did.

She continued walking around before she caught the scent of something delicious, she followed the smell and ended up outside a bakery. She didn't waste any time going inside. She bought 2 muffin, 5 slices of cake each a different kind of flavor, and 6 large chocolate chip cookies. She left the bakery with a large bag.

As soon as she exited the smell of fried chicken caught her nose and she suddenly felt hungry. She walked to the restaurant where the smell was coming from and ordered a big plate of deep fried drum sticks. She covered each drumstick in hot sauce before eating. She paid for her meal and left, walking back to her house.

By the time she got home she was hungry again. She made her way to the kitchen where she made two sandwiches, she then proceeded to add hot sauce before eating. She used to hate hot sauce but now that she was pregnant she puts it on everything, she found it strange of course but didn't worry about it since she was aware that it was because of her pregnancy.

After eating she changed into her swimsuit, grabbed a novel and laid down by the pool. She opened up her book and sighed in relaxation. "This is the life." she said.

She read for an hour or so before remembering that she hadn't contacted master yet. She ran into the house to get her lacrima before laying back down by the pool. She rang master's lacrima, she waited a few seconds before his face popped up. She greeted him gleefully, "Hi master."

Master smiled seeing his child in such high spirits, "Hello my dear, have you settled in a town yet?" he asked.

"Yes master and I found the perfect house, I already love it here!"

"I'm glad to hear that, how's the little one?"

"Hungry, I'm always hungry now."

Master was about to say something back when the sound of loud wails were heard, Lucy heard them as well.

"What's that sound?" The blonde asked.

Master sighed placing the lacrima on his desk, "I told everyone that you left and although no one is taking it well, Levy and Juvia are taking it the hardest." he said before the wails got louder.

Lucy instantly felt bad, she didn't think her sudden departure would have such an effect on her friends. She felt even worse once she remembered that they were both pregnant and this situation could somehow harm their babies. She didn't want them to be hurting, they didn't deserve that.

"Master, I'm going to send you my address. Could you give it to Levy and Juvia after they calm down?" Lucy asked.

"No problem dear."

Mackrov hung up the lacrima and sunk back into his chair, still hearing the cries of his children and the voices of others trying to comfort them. He heard a ping and turned to look at his lacrima. Lucy had just sent her address.

He got up and headed downstairs, he walked over to the two girls on the floor who were still crying and hugging one another while their significant others tried to comfort them.

"Come with me." Is all the old man said. The two girls looked at him with tears still running down their cheeks before getting up and following the old man to his office, their significant others and friends tried following but stopped once master glared at them.

Once they were in the office master made sure that the sound barrier was activated so that no one outside could hear what he's about to tell the girls.

He sat in his chair and looked at the two sobbing girls sitting across from him.

"Lucy asked me to give you her new address." He said, immediately both girls stopped sobbing and began squealing saying how they can't wait to visit her with everyone. Master rose his hand indicating that he wasn't finished.

"But I'll only give it to you if you promise not to share it with anyone; even the people closest to you. If word gets out and everyone goes to find Lucy I know for a fact that she will leave again and would never contact me about her whereabouts. You can't even tell anyone that you know where she is. Are we clear?" He continued.

The two girls nodded their head vigorously swearing that they wouldn't dare tell anyone. Mackarov told them exactly where Lucy's new house was and to say the girls looked happy would be a big understatement.

The girls came out of the office they were bursting with joy. Everyone was confused, just a few minutes ago the two were balling their eyes out now they're all sunshine and rainbows. When asked about their sudden mood change they just said that master had given them two tickets to a spa to cheer them up.

There were no spa tickets. The girls were planning on visiting Lucy without arousing suspicion. Gray and Gajeel, of course, knew something was up and had asked the girls what really happened but they told them the same lie they told everyone. The two girls told their boyfriends that they could be gone for a week or more claiming that they wanted girl time.

The two left the guild and headed straight home to pack. As soon as they left the new couple Natsu and Lisanna walked in, hand in hand. Upon seeing the sad state everyone was in they inquired what happened. The few people who weren't glaring at the couple told them that Lucy had left. Lisanna displayed sadness but rejoiced on the inside while Natsu was conflicted.

A large part of Natsu didn't feel all that affected but a part deep down inside of him felt heartbroken, like it had just lost his other half. He ignored that small part convincing himself that he was just sad he lost a guildmate. He then turned to his girlfriend to comfort her because she seemed sad after hearing the news.

Levy and Juvia woke up at 8 am and got ready before bidding their boyfriends goodbye and meeting by a cafe where they had breakfast. Their train was leaving at 10 so they had ample time to get to the train station.

Once they were on the train both girls chatted with each other sharing gossip and what it's like being pregnant so far. Eventually they both fell asleep and woke up with only an hour left on the train ride. They got snacks and ate and carried on chatting.

Once the train stopped they grabbed their luggage and headed into town. They had Lucy's address but they didn't know the way to it so they asked people for directions.

"Oh you're looking for the young beautiful blonde that just moved here?" One woman asked having heard the two girls asking others about Lucy's address.

The two girls nodded, hopeful that this woman might be of some help.

"Follow that road over there until you see a big white house, it has no other houses close to it so it shouldn't be hard to find." The woman said pointing in the direction of the house.

Levy and Juvia thanked the woman before following her instructions. Ten minutes later they arrived at the house. The two stared up at the house in awe, it looked so classy yet it had a homey feeling to it. They couldn't wait to see inside.

Lucy was sitting on her couch eating a bowl of chilli ice cream ,something Virgo had created just for her after discovering her craving for spicy foods. She was watching one of her favourite shows 'Pretty Little Liars' when she heard the door bell ring. She paused her show and looked at the time, it was 7:45 p.m who could be at the door at this hour?

'Maybe it's another neighbour here to welcome me to the neighborhood.' Lucy thought shrugging as she got up to answer the door. As soon as she opened the door two bodies came crashing into her ,wrapping their arms around her. She would have fallen over if she hadn't steadied herself.

After making sure she wouldn't fall over she looked at the two heads of blue hair, she recognized them instantly. She wrapped her arms around her friends.

"What are you guys doing here?" Lucy asked breaking the hug.

The two girls looked at her teary eyed, "We missed you." they said in sync.

Lucy looked at the girls with a bit of guilt, the girls brought in their suitcases while Lucy closed the front door. Lucy led them to the living ushering them to sit on one of the couches.

Once they were seated the girls began gushing about how beautiful the house was. Lucy told them how much she loved living in the house and in Sunshine Village overall. The girls smiled, glad that their friend was happy.

Lucy was glad to see her best friends but she was worried someone else had come along as well. Even if the girls told them not to come someone probably still would have, I mean this is fairy tail. And let's be honest, members of fairy tail don't exactly care for privacy or boundaries.

"Did anyone follow you?" Lucy asked awaiting their answer anxiously.

"No, we told everyone that Master was sending us to a spa to cheer us up." Levy said.

"And you didn't tell anyone where you were actually going?" The blonde asked.

Levy shook her head, "Master told us not to tell anyone or you'd move again and wouldn't tell us where." she explained.

Lucy nodded laughing a bit, "He was right about that, I would leave again." she said.

Lucy's confirmation of what master said made the girls glad they hadn't uttered a word, they had hoped that Master was just exaggerating; turns out he was not. Lucy was serious about leaving if she were to ever be found by everyone else.

"Speaking of leaving would you please tell us why you left?" Levy questioned.

Lucy was waiting for this question, "Okay I'll tell you since you're gonna find out at some point but you can't tell anyone only master knows," she paused and the girls nodded. Lucy took a deep breath "I'm pregnant with Natsu's baby, I have not told him and I don't plan to." she continued.

Levy and Juvia were happy to hear that Lucy was pregnant but they didn't like the idea of her raising the baby alone.

"First and foremost, congratulations! We are happy for you but you can't raise this baby on your own, so why don't you come back and we help you. And maybe if you tell Natsu he will help you too, it is his child after all." Levy said hoping to get her best friend to go back home with her.

Lucy shook her head, "I won't be raising this baby alone. I will have my spirits to help me even though I am perfectly capable of doing it on my own. I just can't go back, at least not right now and even if I did go back I wouldn't tell Natsu about the baby."

Lucy hoped that her answer would satisfy the two but they still had questions. The girls proceeded to ask why she won't tell Natsu, she then explained her reasons as she did with everyone who asked.

Thankfully the girls didn't question Lucy further.

"So I take it that you'll be staying in town?" Lucy asked gesturing to the two suitcases by the couch.

"Well of course, that was a 9 hour train ride. I need some rest after that." Levy laughed.

"We told the boys that we could be gone for a week or more so we can spend plenty of time with you." Juvia added pulling Lucy in for a hug with Levy joining as well.

Lucy smiled, grateful to have made such great friends. "Would you girls like to stay here with me?" The blonde asked, her friends replied by nodding eagerly.

"Thank you! Thank you!" Levy said as she and Juvia lunge at Lucy to give her another hug. Lucy showed her two friends the guest bedrooms that they would be sleeping in. She left the girls to shower and went downstairs to get something for her and the girls to eat.

When the girls came back downstairs there were three plates of lasagna placed on the coffee table. Everyone sat on the couch and began eating, Lucy had pressed play on the tv lacrima so that they could watch Pretty Little Liars while eating. Juvia and Levy loved the show as well so they had no problem watching it.

Meanwhile at the guild.

The new couple ,Natsu and Lisanna, was still getting the cold shoulder from their guildmates. Many of the guild members had figured that the new couple was the reason for Lucy's disappearance and had began to resent them more. Not even Happy wanted anything to do with them.

Seeing that they weren't at all welcomed in the guild hall the couple decided to have dinner at a restaurant. Once they were seated at a table a waiter came. This waiter knew Natsu along with the rest of the staff since he came here with Lucy often. The waiter looked at the couple, a bit confused before taking their orders.

All throughout the night the two received confused looks from everyone who saw them. Everyone was wondering why Lisanna was hanging on Natsu's arm and not Lucy. The two paid no mind to anyone and decided to retire to Natsu's cottage at the end of the night. Lisanna wanted to spend the night and Natsu lent her some of his clothes.

Once she was finished changing Natsu couldn't help staring at her. It felt wrong for him to lend her his clothes, it felt wrong to see her in his t-shirt and boxers. It felt as if he was cheating but he couldn't understand why he felt like that. He ignored the feeling once Lisanna turned to look at him.

She had caught him staring, she smiled and made her way over to him. She ran her finger down his arm, causing him to shiver. Natsu couldn't decipher whether it was in arousal or disgust.

The two got into bed, Lisanna fell asleep quickly but Natsu tossed and turned all night. It felt as though something was missing from his life. But how could that be when the love of his life was right beside him? Speaking of which, it didn't feel right to have her scent all over his house and bed. Natsu felt like he was at war with himself, he wanted to be with Lisanna but at the same time a part of him despised the close proximity he had to the girl. He felt like he was madly in love with the girl but he still felt incomplete.

The more he thought about it the more he grew confused, 'Maybe it's because it's a new relationship.' he thought to himself. He told himself that he felt the way he did because this relationship was new to him. He told himself that as time passed he wouldn't feel this way anymore. He will soon be proven wrong, very wrong.

Natsu was finally able to fall asleep but only once the sun began to rise.

Lucy woke up feeling energized, ready to start a new day. She brushed her teeth and changed out of her pajamas before going down to the kitchen to make breakfast for herself and her guests.

She made scrambled eggs, sausages, chocolate chip waffles, bacon and hash browns. She thought it would be best to make plenty of everything since all three of them are pregnant and eat a lot.

Once she placed the last plate of eggs on the dining table she heard Levy and Juvia entering the room. The two were no longer in their pajamas. The two took one look at the dining table before turning to stare at their blonde friend.

"Are you trying to feed an army?" Levy asked as they seated themselves at the table.

Lucy laughed nervously thinking she had went a bit overboard with the food, "Well recently my appetite has grown so now I eat 5 times what I normally do, I assumed it was the same for you too."

Levy and Juvia nodded.

"Well you aren't wrong, we can now out eat all the boys at the guild." Juvia laughed.

They each piled everything on their plates, Lucy smothered her plate in hot sauce, Levy used her magic to sprinkle tiny bits of iron on the food while Juvia ate her food with a large bowl of ice. Nobody said anything about the weird things they were doing since it all seemed so natural. Lucy was carrying the child of a fire dragon slayer so the excessive use of hot sauce would be expected, the same can be said for Levy who was carrying the child of a iron dragon slayer and Juvia who was carrying the child of an ice mage.

The three girls ate in silence. After twenty minutes the entire table was cleared. All that was left on the table was dirty plates. They had eaten everything.

"Lucy breakfast was delicious." Levy complimented. Lucy thanked her before clearing the table. The girls helped Lucy clean the kitchen and wash the dishes before exploring the house since they weren't able to last night.

Levy was ecstatic once she laid eyes on the library filled with books that she hasn't read yet and Juvia was equally elated once she saw the large pool in the backyard.

Juvia suggested that they spend the day by the pool. The two bookworms agreed. They all got changed into their bikinis, Lucy and Levy grabbed a few books from the library before going outside to see the the water mage already in the pool swimming with glee.

They smiled watching their friend enjoy herself. They laid down on two lounge chairs in the shade and picked up a book from the pile the brought to read.

While Levy and Lucy read, Juvia swam. This went on for hours since Juvia refused to leave the pool and the bookworms just wanted to read.

It was 3pm when Levy's lacrima rang she looked at the caller id and saw that it was her boyfriend, she positioned herself away from Lucy so she wouldn't be seen and placed her fingers on her lips to tell her not to say anything.

"Hey." She said as soon as she her boyfriend's face pop up on screen.

Gajeel was about to say something when Gray took his lacrima, "Where's Juvia? I've been ringing her lacrima but she isn't picking up." the ice mage sounded panicked.

"She's a bit preoccupied at the moment." Levy said turning the lacrima so that Gray can see Juvia playing in the pool. The ice mage was visibly relieved to see his girlfriend was okay and was enjoying herself at the "resort".

Gajeel took back his lacrima to take to his girlfriend, "So are you okay shrimp?"

Levy rolled her eyes, "I'm fine, we're having soooooo much fun here."

They spoke for a few more minutes before Levy hung up.

"Thank you." Lucy said as soon as Levy put down her lacrima.

Levy smiled at her friend before going back to her book.

"I'm hungry." Juvia stated walking up to the two.

"Same." Levy and Lucy replied in union putting their books down.

The girls put on shorts and t-shirts over their swimsuits. Juvia didn't have to dry off because of her magic. The girls walked into to town and headed towards a diner. They then proceeded to order everything on the menu.

While the girls were eating Loke appeared.

"Hey Loke." The two bluenette's greeted uninterestedly, they didn't spare the spirit so much as a glance as they continued eating. Lucy however turned to the spirit grinning, "Are you feeling better?" she asked.

Loke had become exhausted after continuously opening his gate using his own power and staying in earthland for hours on end. He hadn't done this since the years he spent on earthland because of his punishment, so he wasn't very used to it anymore. Even though he was the strongest of the zodiacs he was still drained from using his power to keep him in earthland.

Loke looked at his master and smiled, glad to see that she was in high spirits. "I'm feeling better princess. Did you miss me?" The spirit asked adjusting his glasses.

Lucy rolled her eyes at her spirit before turning back to her food. Loke stayed with the girls for a few minutes before running off to flirt with a girl who had walked passed the diner.

After the girls finished eating they paid their bill and left the diner. They walked around town talking and buying anything that they saw and liked.

It was starting to get dark so hurried back to the house with all their bags. All three of them were exhausted and were glad to find the dining table filled with food. They had just eaten lunch 3 hours prior but they were beginning to get hungry again.

They ate before heading to the bathrooms to shower and get ready for bed.

"Goodnight!" Lucy shouted sticking her head out her bedroom door. She heard her two friends shout goodnight from down the hall before closing the door and crawling into bed.

Two weeks passed in a blur. The girls had spent all their time together and were now bawling their eyes out in Lucy's living room. Levy and Juvia promised Lucy that they would visit as often as they could, they promised that they would call and message her by lacrima whenever they got the chance.

Lucy hugged her friends tight as she cried, she didn't want them to leave just yet but knew that they had to.

"I'll walk you to the train station." The blonde said wiping her tears. The three walked in silence. Once they got to the train station the three began crying again, gaining the attention of others but they didn't care. Lucy wrapped her arms around her best friends one last time, they only separated once the conductor announced that their train was now boarding.

Lucy watched with tearful eyes as her friends' train departed. She waited until the train was out of sight before she made her way back home.

Once she got home she sat on her couch with a sigh. She had already began to miss her friends. She turned on her tv lacrima and began watching her favourite show in order to get her mind off of her loneliness. After a few minutes she fell asleep.

Natsu woke up covered in sweat and with a raging hard on. His breathing was uneven and he could feel his dragon trying to claw his way to the surface. He could barely remember what he had dreamt about. His dreams were extremely vivid to the point where they felt real but were forgotten memories when he woke up.

He always woke up sad and sexually frustrated. His boner wouldn't go away unless he jerked off to the little parts of his dream that he did remember. In his dreams he would always be making love to a woman with blonde hair and a body to die for. He could never recall her face but he knew it was most certainly not Lisanna.

A part of him thought that the woman in his dreams was Lucy but Natsu refused to believe that since Lisanna was his one and only. He would only remember the body of the beauty he would make love to and their movements once he woke up. Those images were the only things that soothed the ache in his groin.

Not even the image of his white haired girlfriend could bring him his relief. Lisanna had once tried "helping" him with his little (more like big) problem but he pushed her away. Something in him didn't want Lisanna touching him when he was in such a state.

Natsu left his cottage after fixing his problem. The sun had just risen and Natsu was exceedingly tired but there was no way he would getting anymore sleep after the dream he just had.

To get rid of the rest of his pent up frustration he headed to the woods to train. He walked deep into the woods to get as far away as possible so he'd be sure not to hurt anybody.

Recently his magic had become unstable. His powers had become more wild and dangerous than before. He had no control of it anymore. This all started after Lucy left but the poor sap couldn't connect the dots.

"Shit!" Natsu exclaimed as he burned down twenty trees with one punch. The fire luckily didn't spread so he breathed a sigh of relief seeing that minimal damage was done to the forest.

After spending a few more hours training and burning trees he headed back to his cottage to shower before heading to the guild.

"Natsu!" Lisanna shouted, running towards the pinkette as soon as he entered the guild. She hugged the male while purposefully pushing her breasts on him. Natsu felt uneasy with the contact.

"Where have you been? I've been looking for you every where!"

The animal take over mage sounded genuinely worried making Natsu feel guilty for disappearing.

"Sorry, I got up early this morning and decided to train. Kinda lost track of time." He said smiling at the white haired mage hoping to make her feel better.

Lisanna sighed knowing how Natsu can be, "It's fine." she replied pulling her boyfriend to a table at the far side of the guild.

Once seated Lisanna started gushing about places that they should go on dates. Natsu smiled and nodded, promising her that he would take her anywhere she wanted. The conversation then switched from ideal date spots to the fact that both Juvia and Levy were pregnant at the same time. The guild found out about Levy's pregnancy after Gajeel accidently let it slip while he was drunk.

Lisanna then began saying how she wished that she was pregnant too so that all their babies could be friends. Natsu's eyes visibly widened after hearing her statement.

"Oh but it's okay, we can have kids later on after we get married." Lisanna said after seeing Natsu's reaction.

Married? Marriage with Lisanna? Natsu had never thought of that. He listened to Lisanna ramble on about how she thinks their marriage would be, how many kids she wants, how she wants their kids to look, how she wants her and Natsu to buy a house before they're married and baby names. Basically she was talking a whole bunch of nonsense.

The more Lisanna talked the more conflicted and confused he felt. He couldn't picture getting married to Lisanna or having kids with her but he loved her , so why? Whenever he pictured his future children they had pink or blonde hair, never white. Whenever he pictured his wedding he could only imagine a blonde haired woman walking down the aisle.

While listening to his girlfriend talk Natsu's mind went back to the dream he had. Images of him and this blonde haired woman making love flashed through his mind. He couldn't get the woman out of his head and getting random flashes of his wet dreams weren't helping either. He felt his dick twitch in his pants when he pictured the round and full breasts of the woman from his dreams.

He could feel himself getting more aroused. He couldn't let that happen especially not in the guild with his girlfriend. He banged his head on the table hoping that the pain would cause some sort of distraction. The loud bang that sounded through the guild startled most.

"Natsu are you alright?!"

Natsu paid no mind to his panicked girlfriend and focused on the pain hoping to clear the images from his head.

Natsu raised his head off of the table and looked over at his girlfriend flashing her a smile. "I'm fine." he said with a bit of blood dripping down his forehead, which he wiped off.

Things were getting worse for Natsu. Not only was he being plagued by dreams fulfilling all his sexual desires at night but he was now seeing the woman from his dreams in broad daylight too. He needed something to distract him.

"We haven't gone on a mission together in such a long time. Maybe we should take one tomorrow, just you and me." Lisanna suggested.

A mission. That's just what Natsu needed. He always felt better after beating a powerful mage or monster. A mission would be perfect to get rid of all his sexual frustration and to help get some clarity, and in his opinion the more dangerous the better.

"Actually I was planning on taking a solo mission today so maybe after I get back." Natsu said.

Lisanna leaned closer to Natsu, "Maybe I can come and we can have some sort of getaway. Maybe we could get a room at inn and stay there for a few days." she whispered into his ear,  attempting to sound seductive.

None of what Lisanna said sounded appealing to Natsu, it's obvious that Lisanna wants something to happen. He was head over heels in love with the girl but wasn't sexually attracted to her at all. It was something he found weird but didn't question.

Ever since they got together Lisanna has been making several sexual advances at the boy. But Natsu would always act clueless to them and that is exactly what he was going to do in this situation.

"Maybe some other time, see you when I come back babe." He said dismissing any hope Lisanna had of sleeping with him. Before his girlfriend could say anything, he left the table and walked over to the request board. He searched the board for the most dangerous mission.

He finally found the perfect mission, the mission was to take down a giant monster that has been killing and eating humans and animals in a town called Clover Town. Perfectly dangerous and just what he needed. The reward was 1 million jewels. He quickly got the request stamped by Mira before heading home to pack.

Natsu left a half hour later by himself. Yes solo missions means being....well...solo but whenever he went somewhere Happy would always be with him but not this time. He would have asked Happy to go with him but the Blue feline hasn't talked to him since he announced his relationship with Lisanna. Happy even moved all his things from the cottage.

Natsu, of course, didn't understand why the exceed was upset but decided it was best to leave him alone.

Clover Town was to the east of Mongolia. It would take two days to get there by train and since Natsu couldn't handle a train ride for that long he decided to walk which would take even longer.

Natsu returned home two weeks later, he didn't bother going to the guild since it was late at night. The monster wasn't hard to defeat. The monster was incredibly strong but Natsu easily beat it. He poured all his emotions into his attacks making them stronger. A few hits and the monster was down.

Natsu had defeated the monster in less than an hour and collected his reward but decided to stay in clover town for a few days to try and understand what has been happening to him. He also stayed for the giant celebration the residents threw him.

He didn't figure out much. He realized that the dreams won't occur every night and he also realized that he can only get aroused by the woman in his dreams and that he could still feel her touch even after he woke up. But the strangest thing that he figured out was a part of him wanted these dreams, that a part of him wanted the woman in the dreams to be his.

'Why do I want this woman? Why is she the only person that arouses me? How can I feel this way when I'm in love with Lisanna? Who is the woman that I keep dreaming about?' Natsu asked himself these questions constantly. He came back home more conflicted and confused than he left. Despite all this Natsu felt better, he realized that exerting his power made him feel a lot better.

Natsu sighed turning in his bed. After tossing and turning a little more he fell asleep.

Grey and Gajeel sat at the guild bar drinking beer in silence.

"I heard from Wendy that Natsu told you that Lucy was his mate." Gray said breaking the silence.

"Mmmhmmm."

"So maybe he was wrong about who his mate was since he's now with Lisanna?"

Gajeel turned to the ice mage, "Not possible." the iron dragon slayer says simply.

"What do you mean?"

"If Lisanna was actually have been his mate he wouldn't have been with Lucy at all especially after animal chick came back."

"How come?"

Gajeel sighed, "Dragons can't be with anyone other than their mate, they can be in relationships with others but doing anything sexual feels like their cheating. It still feels wrong even before they find their mate."

"And that means?", Gray understood exactly what it meant but enjoyed annoying Gajeel.

Gajeel let out an irritated sigh, "I've heard, smelt and even seen matchstick and bunny girl have sex when they were together and the two were inseparable. But I've never even seen flame brain give animal chick a kiss and on top of that fire freak's been gone two weeks, leaving animal chick here. Mates don't like being far away from one another but yet still he's been avoiding animal chick like the plague. So if anyone's fire cracker's mate it's bunny girl. And now that she's gone he's gonna suffer."

Gajeel got up and walked away before Gray could ask him any more questions. The ice mage sat alone wondering what Gajeel meant by his last statement.

'Guess we'll see what he means eventually.' Gray thought before chugging his beer.
