"if you show me your food one more time caleb, i'm going to throw up." sadie says as caleb giggles, eating his mashed potato. you had joined to sit around the table with your parents. you all agreed that you wanted to each a shit ton of junk food but of course you had to eat your dinner first, and also watch the movie.

you were all planning on watching 'first time' , a classic romantic teenage movie, and also since it was 4 against 3. sadie, you, millie and gaten. you laughed when he voted for the movie as it was brave of him. the other boys just shrugged and agreed.

you were sat next to noah and finn at the table. finn was looking over at you with glazing eyes as every time you would catch him, he would either pretend he wasn't, laugh, smile towards you or just look at you a little longer. if you weren't interested in finn, it would've been kind of weird, but you were, you so were.

"so y/n, how has it been acting in a big show?" finn's mum asks as you look up.

"oh yeah, it's been pretty good. the cast is great to work with but definitely something different to go through but i'm lucky to have producers and a good character to play. i'm really enjoying it, you're son is a good person to act with." you say as finn's mum nods her head, as you smile. you look over at finn as he blushes.

"you got so nervous." he whispers towards you as you giggle.

"i get nervous when parents talk to me." you say as finn smiles.

"its cute." he answers as you blush, as he grabs another piece of chicken.

"you guys watching something soon?" your mum asks as everyone nods.

"what you planning on watching?" noahs mum asks as millie butts in.

"first time, a classic." she says as your mum laughs.

"wow, didn't see you guys watching that." she says as you laugh.

"mum...it's fine, its a funny movie." you say as all the mothers laugh, as they knew what the movie was about by just the title.

"yeah right, okay sweetie." you mum says as you blush, as finn grabs your hand under the table. you jump, as you look at him. his face was pink as he smiles at you.

"okay well i'm finished, what about everyone else?" millie says as everyone nods.

"yeah i'm done." gaten says.

"same here, lets go and watch this stupid chick flick." caleb says getting up from his seat to receieve a slap on the arm from sadie.

"don't be an ass." she says as caleb rolls his eyes, but as she turns to walk off he smiles at her. you notice it as you get out of your seat, and knew to tell sadie about it later. their flirting was insane tonight, actually you couldn't talk since you and finn were all over each other too.

you all walk out of your seats as you grab your plate, bringing it to the sink. you were the only one that put your plate away which finn's mum noticed.

"thank you beautiful, helps me a bit. thank you, so polite." she says as you smile, as you walk over to finn who was waiting for you. he smiled at you again, but this time his eyes seemed amazed. as you both walk over to the room, he grabs your hand again. you let go as you look at finn.

"uh huh, we need to at least go on another date again." you say as he sighs, pretending to be sad.

"fine, party pooper." he says as you giggle.

you walk into the room as you sit down on the sofa again. it was actually quite comfy on the sofa as you snuggled up into the corner of it. you were however quite cold in the room as you felt yourself slightly shiver. you see finn turn to you as he looks at you. he gives you a look as he rolls his eyes, shaking his head sarcastically as he takes off his jumper. you look at him as you look...lower, and see his stomach slightly. he then hands it over to you.

"no you don't have to-" you were interrupted by finn.

"no, i think you need the jumper. and i'm wearing a long sleeve under it, i'm fine." he says as you smile.

"thanks finny." you say as you see finns face fluster. you blush as he blushes back as caleb sets up the tv.

"this tv is so nice dude, i'm coming over to play more playstation." caleb says as finn chuckles, standing up from the couch to help him with the movie. finn looks over at you, and with a approving smile to himself it seems, he looks back at caleb.

"yeah well, i'm inviting y/n over to rematch me but after that, i guess you could come."

you stop. you felt everyone stop. you felt all eyes on you.

he did it...he actually did it.

he said something to the whole group, he actually said something to the whole group about your situation. you didn't want to overthink it too much so you wait for more.

"why you gonna invite y/n over?" gaten says as you blush, as you see millie and sadies eyes flash towards you, with big grins on their faces.

"cause i want to invite the girl i like over."

your heart stops now. you feel your body go wobbly, jelly like. he actually did it, he admitted it.

"wait what! dude, you realize she can-" you interupt noah as you smile.

"i like him too, don't worry." you say as finn looks up at you, with his soft eyes smiling at you.

millie squeals, as does sadie, as they both run up towards you, hugging you. caleb and gaten pat finns back. everyone smiles at the both of you guys as suddenly, noah gets up and storms out of room.

"i'm going to the bathroom." he shouts, his stern tone striking your heart.

millie and sadie let go as their faces drop. you look at finn as his eyebrows furrow.

"woah...okay." gaten says as your confused as everyone else.

"he didn't...actually like me, did he?" you say as caleb looks down. finn grabs caleb shoulders to make him look.

"dude i thought you were joking. did he actually like y/n?" finn asks as caleb shrugs.

"i honestly didn't know if he was real or not either. i guess he was."

"i suggest we just let him get his anger out, there's not much more we can do. i suggest also that y/n, you have to pretend you know nothing." millie says as you nod.

"yeah...i have to don't i? for the best." you say, silence filling the room.

finn turns with caleb again as the movie starts playing. he presses play as everyone gets comfortable back in their seats. millie sits on the far end with gaten as next to them on the other end was caleb and sadie, giggling together. you sit on the end of the couch as finn turns the lights off again, making the fairy lights shine out. the comfortable atomsphere coming alive once again. you felt your eyelashes flutter as finn sits down next to you, putting his arm around your shoulders.

he leans in to your ear.

"so, does that give you proof that you can trust me?" you look at him as he leans his head back to look at your face, as your body goes back to jelly.

"i was wondering if you were gonna say something to the group honestly, i knew you were serious if you mentioned something to the group. and you did it, you said something." you whisper back as finn chuckles.

"yeah well, gaten and caleb knew from ages ago and i mentioned it to millie the other day which i swore to her to not tell you. and she didn't obviously. the last person however who i really just wanted to get the message out was to you. and yeah, i did it. i'm not a coward to liking a girl anymore, i'm not a coward to liking you." he says as your face blooms with happiness.

" i like you y/n, and i'm not afraid anymore. i want to make this work, cause you really are worth it."

you look into his eyes as he looks at yours. you felt your heart racing, beating faster by each second going by. you then look at his lips, his soft, pink lips. he looks at yours, as you see him bite his lip.

you couldn't help but feel pleasure, and with so much happiness filling in your body, you scoot closer to him as he puts his arm around your waist. you catch eye contact again, as you both observe the close up details of each others faces. his freckles were distant, and you now noticed that their are more of them close up to when you are far apart. his eyebrows were so delicate and his eyes, mesmerising.

he goes to say something as he stops. you look at him with eager as he smiles.

"can i ask something?" he says, his mint breathe softly coming towards your face.

"yes wolfhard?" you ask as he looks at your lips once again.

"can i kiss you right now?" he says as you smile.

"let me answer that question for you."

you immediately, after for so long waiting and emotions and feelings, kiss him.

you kiss finn wolfhard.

you kiss the boy of your dreams. the boy you had such a huge crush on from starting on tv, to auditioning and seeing him for the first time, to filming your first scene to now. you were so genuinely happy, as you grab his hair as he pulls you closer by the waist. it wasn't too passionate for everyone to hear or see you guys, but passionate enough for you both to feel the strong connection.

his lips were so soft as his hands felt so powerful against your skin. you could hear the laughing from sadie and caleb and the giggling from gaten and millie but you didn't care.

all you care about in this moment was you and finn kissing.

you take one deep breathe before letting go as you both look down and then back at each other. you both were amazed, so shocked, so surprised but overall, the kiss felt so rewarding. it felt like a prize had been won, that you had finished the video game and won the game.

it felt like you had won the world.

"y/n, can you please go on a second proper date with me?" finn asks as your peachy smile goes wides.

"as long as i get to kiss you again."
