chapter 13

the next day was a big scene to film. you were going to be filming two scenes today, both you were certain you were not prepared for. 

the first one is when alex and mike first meet. the chemistry comes straight away, as when mike has to show alex around the school, he decides to show her almost instantly making eleven very jealous. he shows her around the school while they talk about their own lives. when he brings her to the science room, he compliments her, which makes her blush and then..

they almost kiss.

but they don't. they weren't ever suppose to kiss. until plans changed.

the second scene was with joe and finn when mike goes over to alert alex, because eleven says about a shadow monster hurting alex. however, he comes too late. the shadow attacks the house as steve tries to defend alex but he gets knocked out and before she is attacked, mike runs in front of her and holds his stance. alex has a tear fall down her face before the shadow monster almost screams, as mike then hesitantly turns around and wraps his arms around alex.

he saves her. he protects her, as the shadow monster then leaves. they have to look at each other once again before they run to help steve. 

you were excited for these scenes, because they include romance which has always been one of your favourite genres, but at the same time, you were doing the romance scenes with finn. you were still thinking about the big kiss / make-out session. you just couldn't get your mind off it, especially because you were so nervous about if he was going to find out earlier. finn always seemed so innocent on the camera, felt like he barely swore or would never seem to be a rebel boy but he sure acted like it in real life. you wouldn't though think of it, but he was a kind of suspicious teenager like that.

you had just walked in to set again, with your hair already done from yesterday. today, you just needed touch ups. you feel a tap on your shoulder as you quickly turn around, to see noah looking at you with a smile.

"hey noah, you filming any scenes today?" you ask as he nods.

"yeah, got one with charlie today. how about you?" he asks as you sigh.

"i've got one with finn and another one with finn and joe. first one being mike and alex and second is when alex gets attacked." you answer as noah nods in response.

"sounds busy." he says as you lift your eyebrows.

"yep, very busy." you say as he nods.

"so anyways, the reason i'm talking is, well, i was wondering if maybe..." he stops in his tracks as he just shakes his head.

"what?" you ask him, eager for what he was about to say.

"to...um...go to the cinemas with...millie and finn." he says as your eyebrows furrow in confusion. you didn't know if noah was asking you out on double date with finn and millie or if he was going to be asking millie out.

"so wait...a double date with millie and you?" you say as noah eyes look down a bit, a small sigh leaving his mouth, as he just nods.

"nice, i didn't know you liked her." you say as he goes to speak but then stops himself.

"yeah... i didn't know either." he replies as you laugh.

"anyways, sorry to be so rude, but i have to get ready for my scenes. i'll talk to you later about details, okay?" you say as he just nods, a half smile on his face.

"cool, okay well see you then." you smile as noah waves goodbye. you turn around and begin walking to your tralier, thinking about a double date. 

then realising that finn might be your date.

"the gorgeous girl is back!" the blonde makeup artist says as you laugh at her.

"yeah, you need to spend so much time on me, you just remember me." you sarcastically joke as the makeup artist scoffs.

"oh shut up beautiful, now prepare to get ready."

she took shorter then what she did the other day only because you had your hair curled yesterday. she just had to redo it and go over the curls to make them more bouncy. she also had to have a natural makeup as alex doesn't wear insane makeup for school and at home. you sit on your phone, scrolling through your main instagram and seeing your tags. 

many people had posted on stranger thing pages saying how you were publicly known to be a new character. you smile as you show the makeup artist.

"ohhhhhh, you're now becoming popular." she says as you laugh.

"i'm gonna have insane notifications when this season comes out." you answer as you hear the makeup artist laugh. 

you then check your tagged photos and you see a photo being posted more than once. it was of you and finn, talking at the bonfire. you look at it with a smile slowly forming on your face, with your cheeks going a bit red.

(it's finn handing you a marsh-mellow as you are next to him. pretend you're near the bonfire outside.)

finnwolfhardofficial - had to cook her marsh-mellow as she just burned hers about 5 times.

you read the caption of it. you laugh at his stupid sense of humour, a smile still happily on your face. you hear the trailer door open as you look up and see finn walk in.

"I just saw your damn instagram photo." you say as finn laughs.

"yeah, thought it was a good photo of us and a funny caption." he answers, as he sits down beside you. you look at his hair, no curls in sight as you frown towards him. 

"yes i know, you miss the curls. i miss them too." he says as you smile towards him.

"one day, we should have a scene where mike has just gotten out of the shower and he has curly hair. it would be perfect." you suggest as finn laughs.

"yeah, and then we can see the many edits of mike in a towel and pretending that eleven and him just had sex." finn jokes.

you burst out laughing, as finn lets out a giggle after you. you hear behind you the makeup artist chuckling a bit as well.

"well, at least you know what's happening in the fandom." you say as finn smiles.

"anyways, so has noah talked about you with the double date that i think is happening this weekend?" you ask finn as a puzzled look appears on his face.

"a double date? i haven't heard of this but anyway, go on." 

"noah told me he was going on a double date to ask millie and then he said me and you could go...as friends, obviously." you emphasis the friend bit, hoping finn knew where you stand with him. 

finn pauses for a bit as he shakes his head. an annoyed look on his face appears as he bites his lip.

"wow...he hasn't told you yet." he mumbles.

"told me what?" you ask as finn shakes his head, licking over his mouth with annoyance in his eyes.

"noah likes you, not millie. i betcha he was going to ask you out but...you must of made him nervous." 

you feel your stomach drop.

noah likes you?

"wait what? how long have you know this?" you ask finn as he shakes his head.

"the first day of filming, when you appeared in your outfit and everything. to be honest, i understand why he thought that. you did look gor-" you interupt him.

"finn, stop. so did noah just say that to you boys?" 

"he mentioned how he thought you were cute the first day he met you and then after that he said he badly wanted to get to know you." 

you had so many thoughts now. you didn't understand though, it was such a short period for noah to like you in anyway. you barely knew the kid, well actually, he barely knew you. 

"oh well...thats weird." you try to shrug it off. you then look at finn as he looks at your eyes, staring deeply in them as you do the same. 

you just stare at each other, the tension you could almost break with a knife. he just had such beautiful features on his face, and his eyes were just so memorising.

"so...what about you? do you fancy anyone at the moment?" you say it without consequences, as you feel regret fall on your body.

"well, i'm not quite sure. i'm just exploring, ya know." he answers as you nod your head, looking in the mirror.

"and i'm done! have fun filming your scene gorgeous!" the makeup artist says as you smile.

"thank you! you did a good job as always." you hug her goodbye as finn smiles towards you, as he opens the trailer door for you.

"thank you, such a gentlemen." you do a exaggerated bow as finn rolls his eyes.

"come on, we have a scene to film."

"can't wait for alex and mike to meet!" you say as finn smiles as you both walk over to the school.

a short yet satisfying update.

wow look at me go with these updates you should be proud of me guys.

next chapter will be quite a long one, unless if you guys want me to split the two scenes or bunch them together.
