Chapter 6 - Settling in

You and the girls start to wake up one by one, all of you were still outside the operating roomYou and Jihyo were the last ones to wake up, you look to your chest and see Jihyo sleeping on top of you while both of you were laid down on the rows of chairs

Y/n- Good morning girls

Mn- Good morning Oppa

All the other girls look at you and smileNayeon then walks up to you still lying down

You get pulled by Momo to one of the tables that was beside the window

You say as you walk up to her and place a kiss on the top of her head as the girls smile at the both of you

Sn- Im feeling great Oppa, the surgery went smooth. And ill be back up to health in no time

Jh- But she still needs some rest, the Doctors said that she can rest at home, but she cant move too much or she'll strain herself again. We need to care for her for about a week then we'll come back here for a check up to see if she's good to get back in action

Mn- I guess writing isnt the only job you'll do Oppa haha

Mn- And helping take care of Sana, at least in the meantime

The girls all laugh at this as Sana glares at you and you just wink at herSuddenly Sadness comes into the room then stands besides Sana looking at all of you

Sm- Everybody get ready, the Doctor has given me a green light. We can take Sana home now

The girls whoo and cheer at thisSoon everybody starts to get ready, cleaning the room and packing all of their gathered stuff into your bag The girls make their way outside one by one while you and Sadness help Sana get up and sit down on a wheelchairShe puts her arm around you and you carry her bridal style as Sadness holds the wheelchair in placeYou place her down and she pecks your cheek as you then just smile at her sweetly, you then push the wheelchair outside and regroup with the girls as you all make your way to the elevator, you let them go in first and you and Sana were soon to follow as the elevator doors finaly close you start to make your way down

Dh- Hey Oppa, whats gonna happen with your old job?

Y/n- That almost slipped my mind actualy. Well I guess I can drop by later or tomorow to resign, and I still need to grab some of my stuff from there anyways

Dh- Can I come Oppa?

She says cheerfully

Y/n- Yes Dahyun, but after that I think ill have to drop by my place to grab some stuff since Ill be staying with you girls for a while

She nods happily as the girls felt happy for Dahyun but a bit jealous since they didnt ask you firstThe elevator then opens up as you all step out, you take your jacket off and place it over Sana since she was still in the hospital gown with only her underwear under itSadness hands each of them a mask and they wear itYou all then walk your way outside to the parking lot as each girl enters the carYou help Sana get up and once again cary her into the car, as you then pick up the wheelchair and place it in the back, you then walk back to the front of the car and sit with Sadness at the front. You all then drive back to the dorm as you see a big area with a massive gate that had a a few buildings inside, it looked fancy and everything looked expensive, each building came with a big space covering the area, giving a good distance between the buildingsThe gate was opened by a couple of guards as they looked like they already knew Sadness guessing from the uncountable times she drove hereThe car stops at one of the buildings and you get out of the car to grab the wheelchair and set it up for Sana, you then help her get on the wheelchair and make your way inside of the building as the girls follow

Sm- Ill come by later to bring you girls some food

Jh- No need Unnie, Y/n said he'll cook for us

With that Sadness leaves as you and the girls go to the elevator with you pushing Sana Tzuyu presses the button for the elevator but it doesnt seem to work, she presses again but still nothing

Ny- Ugh again?

Jy- This is getting ridiculous, we have to tell them about this

Jh- Ill call the department about this later, for now lets just take the stairs again

The girls nod as they start to walk towards the stairs

Mn- Wait, what about Sana

Sana then looks up at you behind her with worried eyes

Y/n- Its okay, I can carry her

You smile at them as you go to pick up Sana again in a bridal style

Y/n- Leave the chair here Ill come back down later anyways

The girls nod and you all walk to the stairs going up, luckily they were only on the fourth floor which was the highest of their buildingYou try to get eye contact from Sana but Sana couldnt look at you because she was so shy and embarassed that she had to he carried like that, and by you no less. So you try to start up a conversation to help her feel a bit at ease

Y/n- Hey, so who else live in these buildings? It seems so fancy here

Sn- Well in this building, we share it with Itzy and some other actors and actresses

Sn- Yeah they are the ones just below us

Y/n- And the other buildings?

Sn- Different groups, we rarely get to see who they are, but all we know is that there arent anybody here but artists and Idols

'I guess I already know who's that is' you thought

You proceed to walk their and place her down gently on the bed, you take her blanket and spread it across her

Y/n- Get some rest Sana, Ill try to cook something downstairs. Call me if you need to get up okay? And Ill just bring the food to you

You say as you get up and make your way to Jihyo in the doorway

You and Tzuyu nods as Tzuyu hurridly takes your hand and takes you to their room, she shows you their bedroom and you can imideatley tell whos bed is whosThe bed with the tiger print comforter obviously belonged to the cubThe bed with the dogs on it was obviously Tzuyu's, you wanted to pet the dogs but they were too busy sleepingThe plain white one that was clean to a spot was of course DubusYou both then step out and then make your way to the Unnies bedroom, it was mostly the same as the two others, the only difference was the Dog bed beside on of the other bedsTzuyu then takes you down the hallway to a storage room that just has a bunch of their unused clothes from previous erasYou both then make your way down stairs as you wave to the girls but they were too busy watching the dramaTzuyu shows you the bathroom then the laundry room next to it and then takes you to the recording studio it was a spacious place with a simple booth for recording and a chair with some buttons in the table in front, then a couple of bean bags on the farther side where Tzuyu said they would brainstorm at timesShe then takes your hand again and drags you outside towards the kitchen where Momo was looking for snacks

Y/n- Hey Momo, you hungry?

Mm- A bit. Are you done with the tour now?

Y/n- I think so? Unless there are any other rooms?

Tz- Nope, thats all and thats the dining table and living room

Ch- Alright, lets go?

You stand up and take her hand as you both walk out the room and head downstairs

You say as you stick a tounge out to her and she glares at you so you bring up the peace signChaeyoung wears a mask and takes your hand as you two walk out the dorm, you both go down the stairs hand in handYou both walk out of the building and head to the gate, the guards open the small gate for the two of you and you walk in the streetwalk heading to the market, the sun was shining brightly and there were no signs of clouds, it was much warmer when you and Momo walked, but you appreciated this moment just as much with ChaeyoungYou look at her walking beside you and for no reason at all you pull her closer to you putting an arm around her as she rests her head on your chest since she cant reach your shoulderYou continue to walk until you reach the market, it was a busy place but the two of you didnt mind as you both walk around and buy the stuff you need you pay with your card each time as Chaeyoung keeps insisting to use her card but you decline politely

Meanwhile back at the dorm where the other girls just got done watching an episode

Ny- Hey, do you girls think we should party tonight?

Jy- Party? With Y/n?

Chaeng proceeds to hand her card to the cashier as he swipes it to pay

Each girl rushes towards the table as Mina pauses the tv and follows soon afterThey all take in the amazing smell of your cooking, not only that but it looked apetizing as well

They say in unison as they start to dig in to each food you prepared

You stand up and head to the kitchen island you grab a big bowl and another plate and bring it to the girls you place one down in front of Tzuyu

You pat her head with your free hand and she proceeds to eat the foodThen you walk over to Jihyo and place the other plate in front of her, and then put your hands on Jihyos shoulders

She chuckles as she starts to dig in to the food that you prepared for her, yoh take a seat at the head of the table with Jeong on the other far side and Momo on your left with Mina on your right as you also start to eat, it felt nice eating with some people finally after only eating with the people at the music shop or alone the past few years, it made you reminice about the good old days with your family as you just keep looking at them and especially Mina, it felt like forever since you got to eat with her againEven in full silence you didnt feel empty with the girls, it wasnt awkward silence but comfort, they could all just eat at peace with each other without a single word as you just smile at them

Eventualy everyone started to finish and just sits around the table trying to recover from the feast that you all just had as some of them were rubbing their bellies

She waves you off as you stand and grab Sana's food from the Oven, you made her Jjambbong since she loved spicy food and she needed something soft and with soupYou head upstairs with the food in handYou open the door and peak inside, you make your way towards Sana and place the food down on her bedside tableYou try to wake her up by nudging her softly a few times
