Love In The Sky Pt. 1

~2 WEEKS LATER~

Simaya:

"Baby wake up, you're going to be late"

Abel has been staying with me a lot before he goes off on tour for Kiss Land. Not seeing each other for weeks going on months at a time was going to be hard but we were making this last week worth it.

It was afternoon and he was still sleeping when he had a meeting to attend to with Cash.

"Babe, you got to meet Cash soon, you know how he hates when your late"

Since I was now working for Abel with his Official XO clothing line, I had to stay in Toronto for meetings with his designers. And since I'm his lead merchandiser, which basically meant that I had to make decisions for the way his brand was represented and how it was put out to sale, I had a lot of work to do. He trusted me with this and I promised I wouldn't let him down.

"What time is it babe? I'm still tired as fuck"

Sitting next to him on the bed I slowly pulled down the comforter.

"It's 12:30, you have to meet Cash at 2 o'clock. So get up lazy ass!"

"Give me 20 more minutes, I'll be up and ready"

Slowly laying back down he started to pull the covers over himself before I pulled them back down.

" 20 minutes my ass, you said that last time and you were late. Cash waited over an hour for you, almost making him miss Amina's prenatal Dr appointment. So get up!"

Before I knew it he pulled me in bed with him and pinned me down.

"We have a little time for something else"

Looking at him I could tell by his smirk what he meant. Since we got engaged he has been really slowing down on the drugs, showing me he was serious about me.

"Baby.. don't you ever get enough? "

Smiling down at me he went and kissed along my neck.

"I never can get enough of you baby"

Leaving a trail of kisses along my collar bone he didn't need to say anything else, he had control of me.

Positioning himself between my legs I could feel he was hard and ready for me.

Distracted by his kisses I didn't realize he had already pulled down my pajamas shorts down with one hand. Rubbing his tip on my wetness he smiled as he kissed me.

"Look at who's not rushing me off anymore..."

Smiling back at him I gently bit his lower lip.

"Hush up and fuck me already..."

Kissing me hard he entered me and started thrusting into me harder and harder with ever stroke.

"Abel...."

As he kept going I all of a sudden felt sick to my stomach. Pushing him off of me I ran into the bathroom to throw up.

Sitting on the floor naked hugging the toilet, I felt horrible. I had no time to be sick.

*Knock...Knock...*

"Are you okay babe?"

Hearing Abel slowly opened the door while he peaked his head in.

"You gave me that stomach virus you had a couple of days ago, you jerk"

Slightly laughing he came and brought me a towel with my pajamas.

"I'm sorry baby"

Helping me up I grabbed the towel to clean my face after washing my mouth.

Putting on the oversized sweats and thank top he watched me dressed.

"Thanks, I hope it's a 24 hour virus.  I can't be sick right now"

Grabbing my hand he picked me up and placed me in bed.

"Don't worry about anything right now, I'm going to take care of you like you did for me when I was sick, so after the meeting I'm going to the store to get some food and Gatorade  so you can feel better"

Pulling the comfort over me he pecked my lips.

"Eww.."

I looked at him confused.

"What's wrong Abel?"

"You have vomit near your lip"

"Oh my God!!!"

Throwing the comforter off of me, I was about to run out of bed to brush my teeth when Abel stopped me.

"Baby! I'm playing..I'm playing!"

"You asshole!"

Laughing he hugged me tight and kissed the top of my head.

"I'm sorry I couldn't help myself"

"You play too much you ass, I felt so gross"

I kept pushing him away for him to only hug me tighter kissing me some more.

"Get your ass in bed now, I want you resting. Did you want anything while I'm out?"

"Yeah..."

Looking at me suspiciously he waited for me to finish what I was saying.

"Okay... what would you like?"

"Can you bring me some of this gourmet cupcakes from downtown"

Knowing how hectic that shop could be and how he hated crowds. this was a big request on ny part.

"Really babe? You know that place be crowded as fuck"

"You're right baby, just bring me some Oreos"

Smiling at him I laid back down as he he just shook his head while walking to the bathroom.

Still feeling sick I dozed of while Abel was in the shower.

Abel:

~~4 Hours Later~~

As soon as I was done with ny meeting with Republic I kept texting Maya to check up on her. I left her sleeping so I'm guessing she's still resting.

"Nigga you're really trying to grocery shop? Like, why the fuck do you need a shopping cart for some Gatorade?"

I brought Hawk with me to help me avoid crowds but it seemed he attracted them more with his loud ass questions.

"Can you be any louder? I'm getting some food to cook for Maya, she needs a good home cooked meal and I'm going to make it for her"

Giving me the side eye, he laughed.

"Damn bro,  I never thought I'd see you cooking for a female"

"She's just not any female though, that's my girl nigga"

I smirked at Hawk as he patted my back.

"Nah for real though, I'm happy for you bro. I just don't know why you trying to kill her with your cooking"

Pushing him as he laughed I flipped him off.

"Fuck you, I know how to cook. I just haven't done it for anyone other than myself"

"So am I invited to dinner?"

"Hell no you're not, I'm dropping you off at your place after this"

Getting back home I placed the bags in Maya's kitchen before I went to check on her. She was still asleep hugging her pillow, perfect.

Trying not to make any loud noise I was cooking her some homemade chicken soup. When I was a kid I often saw my mama or grandma cook so I picked up on how to cook for myself. It was a skill few knew of.

As the soup cooked I chilled on Maya's sofa until it was done. Being that it was almost seven at night I started to watch some movies until the food was done.

"Abel...babe wake up"

Opening my eyes, I saw Maya sitting near me facing me.

"Fuck, I must've fell asleep. What time is it? The soup is going to overcook!"

"It's 7:45 baby relax, I turned off the stove 20 minutes ago"

Now sitting up I started to stretch.

"I made you chicken soup, something you can eat until you're better.  I also got you Gatorade, 7 Up and some ginger ale so you can keep hydrated. The Saltines are on the table and Tylenol for your headaches is on your nightstand"

Sitting side by side now she reached toward my face and kissed my scruffy cheek.

"Thank you, I woke up because it smelled so good, I never expected you would cook baby. I'm excited to eat"

"I just don't want you feeling horrible anymore baby girl, this isn't anything big "

Caressing her cheek, I wanted her to know she meant the world to me.

"It's a big deal to me, I feel better and think it could if just been stress and nerves because we were suppose to meet your mother tomorrow"

"I already called and told her I'd bring you another day since you weren't feeling well"

"I hate missing out on your mothers dinner but I would hate to pass this virus to anyone else. So have fun baby, your family really misses you"

"Just get better, I hate leaving you alone though"

Pecking my lips she got up and started walking to the kitchen to serve us some soup.

"I'll be fine, it's just for a day. Let's eat because this soup smells great"

Walking to the table I sat across from her as she started to eat.

"Oh my God Abel this amazing"

"Well I am good at other things than singing and fucking"

I smirked at her as she laughed.

"This is so good that I'm not going to argue with you right now"

Getting up I went to the refrigerator to grab the box of cupcakes she asked for.

"You got them!!! You stood in that long line for me!!"

She got up and wrapped her arms around my neck, placing kiss after kiss on my cheek.

"Well I made Hawk stand in the line, so I owe him"

Sitting back down to finish our meal, I never knew cupcakes could make a girl so happy.

~~Next Day~~

"Abeeel.... Cash and Lamar are here"

Before touring I always go and see my mother and she manages to make it a farewell dinner.

"You better keep your distance Simaya,  this nigga told me bout your germs"

Walking in I can hear Lamar teasing Maya.

"How are you telling me to stay away when your ass was the one that got all of sick? We should all jump you"

"I'm just saying though, damn bro your girl here ready to fight me"

Grabbing my phone charger and jacket I laughed while hugging and kissing Maya.

"It is your fault Mar, Baby if you need anything just call me. We'll be back later tonight"

"I'll be fine babe, you guys be safe"

Getting to my mamas I could see a few family members of hers already there. Lamar and Cash always looked forward to these dinners because my mother was such a great cook. Walking in her home I was instantly greeted by her and my aunt's.

"Its been so long son, come in"

"I'm sorry mama, they have me so busy in Toronto with this album and all"

"I understand, it's just good to you baby"

After having dinner we sat in the living room catching up on each other's life when we heard a knock at the door. My mother got up to answer and was speaking to someone on the other side.

"Abel was the apple of ny mothers eye" Listening to my aunt I watched my mother go outside and close the door behind her.

Excusing myself I got up to go and check if she was okay. Walking outside to the porch I could see her talking to an older man.

"Is everything fine mama?"

"Is this him?"

I heard the man ask.

"Abel I'm fine son. And yes this is him, your son"

After that sentence left her mouth I realized this man was my father.

"Mama who's this man?"

"Abel this is your father, he's been contacting me, wanting to get in touch with you"

"Abel I know you don't remember me but son--"

I cut him off before he could say anything more.

"I don't have no father, so you can take that shit elsewhere"

Walking back inside the house I let Cash and Lamar know we were leaving.

"Already nigga?"

"Yeah, I need to get the fuck out of her asap"

My mother stood outside with the sperm donor who abandoned us before I could walk. Walking out I saw her speaking with him.

"Thanks for dinner mama, I'll call you"

"I'm sorry for all this son. I didn't know he would show u unexpectedly"

"Its fine, I'll see you though"

Hugging and kissing her cheek I got in my car as Cash drove off.

The whole car ride was silent.~~~~

Back in Toronto I told Cash to take me to my place, I couldn't think clear right now. All the memories of growing up started to flood my brain. The suffering my mother endured, being alone raising a son. The times we had no food and my grandmother had to feed us, my father didn't care if we were starving, he was busy living his life.

My mother wasn't around because of him, she worked 3 jobs leaving me alone. Now this nigga, this sperm donor, wants to come in my life when I don't need him anymore.  Fuck him, I needed him when I was a kid not now.

Smoking my blunt I felt like I needed something stronger. Calling my connect he brought me more pills, coke and more weed. Lining up the coke I sniffed multiple lines, it wasn't enough so I took an ecstasy pill and let the high takeover.

~~NEXT MORNING~~

Simaya:

I woke up with my cell phone constantly ringing, I fell asleep early last night because I was feeling sick so I didn't notice that Abel did come back from his mother's. Reaching for my phone I saw that it was Amina.

"Mina someone better be dying! It's 3 in the morning"

"Maya Abel's in the hospital, they don't know if he will make it. I'm on my way to get you"

"What! Amina what happened? He was okay yesterday when he left"

"Maya I don't know, Cash just called me telling me he found him unconscious and to let you know. They took him to the hospital and I'm a couple of blocks from your loft"

"Okay bye"

Getting up I rushed to wash my face and brush my teeth. Crying, I got dressed and headed down to the lobby to wait for Amina. So many questions were running through my head and I had no answers. I just wanted Abel to be okay.
