The School Girl and the Ghost 9

In Kamome Gakuen Academy, the school bell rang for the end of the day.

It was the late 1960s.

The boy with his black choppy hair walked down on the sidewalk. He was emotionless with his cotton gauze patch on his left cheek.

The cat of orange, black and white walks behind him quietly. It was really curious of the boy.

He stopped at the intersection of the road. The boy in his school uniform presses the crossing button. He waited until the pedestrian lights turned green.

The calico cat was carefree. Without hesitation, it goes to the boy's black pants. The calico cat rubbed his lower right leg smoothly around, purring as it circles around his leg.

The boy with his amber eyes glanced down, taking notice of something touching him. "What are you doing, kitty?" He inquired.

The eccentric cat just keeps liking to rub the boy's legs. It went to the boy's left leg. The calico cat purrs loudly.

The boy with his white western shirt was awkward with the friendly cat. "C'mon...I have to get back home..." he urged, attempting to move the calico cat aside but failed.

The pedestrian light across the boy ultimately turns green. It left a timer for fifteen seconds to cross.

The boy with his amber eyes realized at the pedestrian lights. He was concerned. The boy with his cotton gauze glanced down again. "Hey, I gotta cross the road now, kitty." He said.

Ten seconds.

The boy with his black choppy hair used his left white shoe to carry the smiling cat away carefully. He was annoyed. "I have no time for your affection over me, kitty." The boy with his amber eyes argues.

Five seconds.

The boy with his black choppy hair brushes off his left white shoe. And then, he brushed off his pair of black pants. The boy with his cotton gauze was sighing in frustration. "Man...Cat fur..." he mutters.

Zero seconds.

The pedestrian lights has been turning on into red.

The boy with his amber eyes was unimpressed. He efforts to walk across the street.

The calico cat recognizes the black-haired boy moving forward. It became astonished.

His white shoes were near the curve of the sidewalk.

Suddenly, he got stopped. Just before the beige car drove by him.

The boy with his cotton gauze was baffled. "Huh?" He inquires.

The boy with his amber eyes looks down at his left leg instantly.

The frightened cat bit the end of his left side of his black pants. The calico cat tugged him back a few times.

He blinked his eyes at the jittery cat surprisingly.

And then, the boy with his black choppy hair made his sheepish smile. "Heh heh heh...I'll go back on the sidewalk if you stop tugging me, kitty..." He chuckled.

The calico cat released his black pants from its teeth.

They both stepped back to the sidewalk.

The boy with his amber eyes crouched down to the baffling cat. He was happy at it. "You saved my life, kitty." The boy with his cotton gauze said gladly.

The calico cat stared up and meowed puzzlingly at him.

He nodded his head once. "Mm-hm." The boy with his black choppy hair hummed.

The astounding cat was giving him the big pink pearl cat eyes.

He grins with his white teeth. "I'll name you for my thanks for saving me." The boy with his amber eyes suggested.

The calico cat blinks its eyes once.

He offers his left hand to pet the cat.

The delighted cat steps its paws forth two times. The calico cat offered him back with its head.

The boy with his cotton gauze petted the tri-colored cat's head a few times. "I'm Yugi Amane. Nice to officially meet you, Mitsuki." He greeted.

The calico cat purrs while being petted by Yugi.

He smiles bigger. "You're a good girl, Mitsuki. I hope we can be friends someday." Yugi uttered.
