Chapter 17 : Day Out

Jiyeon's POV

I haven't been able to contact Seonghwa or see him at the park these days.

He might be busy with practice.

I frowned and look at the text which I sent him a few days ago.

"Of course he'll be busy. He's an idol after all." I sighed, keeping my phone aside.

But then my phone vibrated which meant I got a message. I looked at the screen to find that the text was from Yunho.

Noona are you free today?

Yes...Wae?

We all were going to hangout today so we thought to invite you too

Jjinjja?

You can come if it's okay for you

I'll surely come. Where should I meet?

He texted me the address.

See you there, noona

Okay

I jumped in happiness and hugged my shark plushie tightly. "I'm going to hangout with ATEEZ!" I couldn't control my happiness.

I got ready and went to the place where we were to meet. I was waiting at the intersection when I saw a car stopping right in front of me.

I looked at the car suspiciously at first but then I saw Jongho coming out of that car.

"Jongho?..." He ran to me and hugged me tightly.

"Noona!"

Aww my baby!

I hugged him back. "Noona, I missed you so much," he said after pulling away from the hug.

"I missed you too Jongho."

"Let's go, others are waiting." I nodded.

He guided me to the car and gestured me to get in. I greeted everyone as I sat down.

Then I realized that Seonghwa was sitting beside me, he was sitting on my right and Jongho on my left.

I wasn't able to look at him in the eyes as it was a bit awkward for me then. But tried not to show it.

"Wanna hear some music?" Hongjoong asked from the driver's seat.

"Yeah, why not?" I replied.

"What kind of music do you like while traveling?" Yunho asked.

"I usually like to hear exciting songs when I travel. Something like Wave and Utopia."

"Then I'll play those," Hongjoong said and played one of it.

We all started jamming to the songs and chatted all the way. I enjoyed the moment so much. It felt like I was traveling with my friends.

We were chatting when I asked, "But you didn't tell me where we are going?"

"You'll know eventually," San said and smiled, showing his dimples.

"I don't like suspense." I folded my arms, pouting.

"First we'll eat something at a restaurant and then we'll head to a nice place," Seonghwa said.

"Nice place? What is it?" I looked at him in curiosity. He just chuckled.

"It's a secret," Yeosang said, smirking.

I sighed and looked out of the window.

I hate suspense. But I can't do anything. I just have to wait till we reach there.

Seonghwa's POV

We reached the restaurant and got in. We still had our masks on as we sat at a table and ordered the food.

I was sitting on Jiyeon's left and Yunho on her right and the others surrounding the table. Soon our food arrived and we start to eat.

"It's so delicious," she said, her mouth stuffed with food (like San).

"This restaurant serves the best food in this area," Wooyoung said.

"Ah..." She nodded.

Jiyeon was too immersed in eating that she didn't realize she got food on the corner of her lips.

I slightly sighed. "Look here..."

"Hm?" She looked at me, puzzled. I took a tissue and wiped it away. She's like Yeosang when she eats.

She's still a baby.

"Done."

"Uh... Thanks..."

"Eat properly... You make me want to take care of you," I said, keeping the tissue away.

And then I realized what I just said. She blushed and looked away. I too did the same.

Jiyeon's POV

I could feel my cheeks getting warm when he said that.

He knows how to make me blush.

We finished our food quickly and headed out of the restaurant, having our ice creams.

This time again Seonghwa and Hongjoong got the same flavor. And Seonghwa had to tease Hongjoong about it.

"Couple ice cream again... Huh?" I tease both of them, smirking. The 99'liners, Jongho and I giggled together.

Hongjoong was annoyed with us and walked towards the parking area. The others including me were walking slowly while having our ice creams.

"Noona, can I try yours?" San asked.

"Yes of course," I said and feed him. "How's it?"

"It's really good." He showed a thumbs up.

"I want it too," Wooyoung said and opened his mouth for me to feed.

I chuckled and fed him too. So eventually, I fed all of them one by one except Seonghwa who just kept looking at us. Maybe he was jealous.

After finishing their ice cream, they all ran towards the car except for Seonghwa and me.

"I also wanted to try yours," he suddenly said while.

"Ah, mianhae. It's over." I showed him the empty container.

We put the ice cream containers in the disposal bin and headed towards the car.

"Now where are we going?" I asked again.

"Just wait a little bit. We're almost there," Mingi said.

It was almost the time of sunset now. And it was getting a little chilly too. I looked out of the window to find out a familiar place.
