Chapter 6 : My First Date

Jiyeon's POV

"You're lost in the thoughts again?" Jina said.

"Huh?"

Jina handed me a cup of coffee and sat beside me. I kept on thinking about the time when Seonghwa met me personally.

"You can tell me if it's really bugging you."

"The thing is... First promise that you'll keep it to yourself." I showed my pinky finger to her.

"You still do these kinds of things?"

"Hurry up!"

She sighed and locked her pinky finger with me.

"So the thing is..."

I explained the whole thing to her. How Seonghwa called me to meet him personally and him giving his number to me. She was amazed by it.

"Daebak! You're really lucky!"

"And please don't tell this to anyone."

"Don't worry. I won't." I let out a sigh of relief. "By the way, did you text him?"

"No! I don't know if I should do it or not."

"Don't think about it too much. Just send him a simple text."

"Should I really text him?"

"Of course. Then why did he give his number to you?"

I took out my phone to text him. I took a deep breath and just sent a simple 'hi' to him.

"Ah right! I need buy some groceries. I'll comeback soon," Jina said and left.

I sat there and stared at the message I sent to him. After a few minutes, the reply finally came.

Hi

So you finally texted

How did you recognize me?

I don't easily give my number to anyone

Ah...

What are you up to tomorrow?

Well, I have a day off tomorrow and I don't have any plans either...maybe just rest at home

How about we meet up tomorrow?

Tomorrow?

Yeah. Let's meet up here tomorrow. I'll take you somewhere nice

He texted me the address.

Okay

Reach there by 10 am

I'll be there in time

I look at my phone and smile widely.

I'll be meeting him tomorrow. I can't believe it! It would be like a date. Omg!!

Jina came back and saw me going all crazy.

"You look so happy suddenly. Did Seonghwa tell you to go on a date with him?"

"Jina, you guessed it right."

"Really?!" I nodded. She came and gave me a hug. "I'm so happy for you. When is it?"

"Tomorrow."

"Ooooo... Jiyeonnie is going on a date."

"Yah~ Stop teasing." I blushed.

"Good luck on your date."

"Thanks."

I just couldn't control my happiness. I was so happy that I would spend a day with my bias and crush. I would spend a whole day with the Park Seonghwa.

But this wasn't what I thought.

"Won't you eat it?" Wookyung said, munching on his pizza as if he hasn't eaten for days. "It's delicious though." I facepalmed.

I'm so embarrassed right now. What would Seonghwa think about me now? Aishh... I'm doomed!

I look at Seonghwa who was looking at Wookyung with a 'What-the-hell-is- wrong-with-him?!' look. (A/N : Insert Seonghwa's judging face...) I wished I could just disappear somewhere.

—Flashback—

"No, you can't come with me," I said.

"Wae? I can't just let you go on a date with any guy," Wookyung said.

"First of all he's not 'any guy', he's Park Seonghwa."

"So what? I'll come with you."

"What would you do there?"

"I'll protect you if he harms you."

"And why would he harm me?"

"How would I know that? I can't read minds." I facepalmed.

"You still can't come with me."

"Have I ever listened to you?" He smiled.

"Yah! Jeon Wookyung!" I sighed.

I reached the place in time and saw Seonghwa standing there. He wore a casual shirt and jeans yet he looked so handsome as always.

He waved at me when he saw me coming. I did the same and went to him, Wookyung following me.

"Did you wait for long?" I asked him.

"Aniyo, I just arrived here."

Then his gaze landed on Wookyung who was looking somewhere else.

"Who's he?" he asked.

"Ah... Wookyung-ah..." He turned to look at me and then at Seonghwa.

"This is Wookyung, my friend... And Wookyung, this is Seonghwa." I introduced them to each other.

They greeted each other and then we proceeded to our destination.

So now he's here to interrupt my date with Seonghwa. Seonghwa took us to the arcade. We played some games there. I tried to be with Seonghwa but Wookyung didn't let me. Wookyung always popped up between the two of us.

Seonghwa's POV

It was already evening now. We were tired and now heading towards our home. On our way, I saw an ice cream shop. So I thought to buy an ice cream for Jiyeon.

"Wanna have some ice cream?" I asked her.

"Yes." She nodded.

We went to the stall and searched for our favorite flavors.

"Which one do you want?"

"This chocolate one."

"Two of this please," I said to the owner.

I paid for the ice creams and meanwhile Wookyung paid for his.

So now we were walking by the streets while having our ice creams. It was 7:30pm now.

I have to go back now.

Then Wookyung got a call. While taking out his phone from his pocket, he accidentally dropped his ice cream. He gasped at it dramatically.

"My ice cream..." Then he looked at Jiyeon's ice cream with a smirk.

"Don't you dare touch mine," she said, hiding her ice cream.

"Just one bite."

"No way!" He got a call again. "Yah, you're getting a call. Pick it up fast." Then he left to take his call.

"This kid..." Jiyeon sighed.

"Jiyeon..." She looked at me. "I have to go now. My manager told me to come back by this time."

"Ah I see... And sorry for Wookyung. He just ruined everything."

"No. It's okay."

"I didn't want to bring him but he just followed me."

"Its okay. He's just protective about you."

"I'm sorry for today. You couldn't even enjoy your day off."

By this time Wookyung came back and stood beside Jiyeon.

"Jiyeon let's go," he said to her.

She looked back at me. "Thanks Seonghwa for today. I'll treat you next time."

"Okay."

"Goodbye." She waved at me and I did the same. Wookyung dragged her with him.

"Text me when you reach home."

"Yes," she shouted back.

Then I saw Jiyeon hitting Wookyung. Maybe she was scolding him for ruining our day. I chuckled.

They seem close to each other.

I turn back and walk towards my dorm.
