winter date
11:25, 23 November 2020It was a cold day, colder than Yachi expected. She tried her best not to be a shivering mess as she walked to the station to meet the Volleyball team. She wouldn't miss this outing ever! They had all agreed on having a little break by going to a very famous street. She was excited to see many posters and media designs littered on the streets, she was going there for fun, but also get inspiration from the posters and designs.
She hurried her way. She looked around the station and then to her phone. She was half an hour early. She almost wanted to cry out, her thin jacket isn't helping one bit, and no one was there. Maybe she was hallucinating and made up the whole thing for her pitiful self. She almost believed it when...
"Yachi-san." She flinched at her name being called, she turned around to the tall blonde. She almost wanted to thank him for arriving. She was seriously thinking this was all a thing she made up.
"T-Tsukishima-kun! I guess you're early too." She said, her nerves calming down a bit. Her arms were shaking so much, she hid them behind her back as he walked closer. He nodded silently. He looked comfy, with his fluffy dark green scarf(a cute dinosaur at the end of the scarf was seen), multiple layers of coats( a green jacket under a black jacket and then a brown coat), and dark green gloves. She wished her past self looked at the weather channel before leaving. She felt the daggers looking at her.
"You look very cute, Yachi-san." He said calmly, she rubbed circles on her head and nodded shyly.
"Really? You think so? Thanks, Tsuki-" she then realized what THE Tsukishima Kei said. She froze, feeling her cheeks heat up, she turned to him, shocked, confused, and overall scared.
"Tsukishima-kun!?" She called out to him, she looked at him like he was alien. He frowned and pouted his lips.
"What? I can be nice too you know." He snapped, turning away from the girl. She stared at him again, making sure he is real. She then smiled brightly and chuckled.
"Thank you Tsukishima-kun. By the way... when is everyone coming?" She asked, checking her phone again. It was almost time for the agreed timing. Tsukishima also checked his phone, shrugging, but he got a message.
"Ah... Yamaguchi said he can't make it. He caught a cold." Tsukishima said, sounding a bit disappointed. Yachi nodded. Then a message popped up.
"Oh... Hinata said that his road to the station and school was blocked with snow..." Yachi said, another message from Hinata, it was a picture of a thick wall of snow, looking like it was the same height as Hinata. Tsukishima grumbled, he didn't like where this was going. Suddenly their group chat blew up.
Daichi: Suga got sick, going over to his house to help him.
Tanaka: My sister and I are stuck on the road.
Jesus: Gomenn, Noya is trying to dig our way through the snow.
Kageyama: I'm lost... went running and I'm lost.
Yachi was shaking, not only from the cold. But how they all one by one suddenly ghosted on them. Tsukishima was starting to get frustrated too.
Shimizu: Hitoka-san, Gomen but I didn't know I had some errands today... I won't be able to come.
"Seriously... the snow isn't that thick! Maybe for the Tangerine seeing as he lives on a God damn mountain. But Noya-san too?" Tsukishima said, his voice obviously irritated. She laughed nervously.
She had to agree with him, the snow isn't that thick, although it is colder than normal, it wasn't like there was a blizzard. And being sick? Maybe if your immune system is weak, but Sugawara? The mom of the group? Sick?
"Ne, Tsukishima-kun... I feel like I've been lied to." She said, feeling dead inside. In the end, all their teammates ghosted out. Yachi might as well go home. She turned to Tsukishima, smiling guiltily.
"Sorry, Tsukishima-kun looks like we've wasted our time," Yachi said, not even trying to hide her shivering mess anymore. All she wanted to do was go home and have a warm bath. Tsukishima clicked his tongue, he grabbed the girls hand and pulled her nearer. Yachi looked at him, confused.
"Here." He said, taking off his scarf and wrapping it around hers, he then took off his outer coat and helped her into it.
The scarf was so warm, and the large coat covered her so nicely, she felt 100 times better. She gave a rosy smile.
"Let's just do something else. I Don't want to waste that crowded bus I had to endure," He said, walking to the train station. Yachi nodded and followed him along. He walked faster than her, which she didn't mind at the moment, the extra movement gave her more warmth. He stopped suddenly and she bumped into him.
"Where do you want to go?" He turned back to her, his cheeks were red. Yachi stared at the male, her brain only thinking of one thing.
.
"Seriously," he started, looking at the bustling street. They ended up sticking to their plan. Yachi grinned, she really did want to go. " Well, it was our plan." Tsukishima shrugged.
They ended up just walking around, window shopping. They got some hot cocoa from a cafe, now their bodies warm, they went back out in the cold.
"I wonder how everyone is doing." Yachi started, Tsukishima glanced down at the girl then back up to the street.
"I'm sure some were lying." He said bluntly, Yachi chuckled nervously.
"Yeah... b-but maybe they had another reason! We may never know.." she tried to reason. Sure she was really bummed out that they all flaked away, but at least Tsukishima was there.
Out of the corner of his eyes, he saw a familiar colour of orange. He stopped to look closer, but the orange head disappeared out of his sight. Yachi noticed the male stopped and also looked in the direction.
"Tsukishima-kun?" She called out, he sighed and started walking again, stopping to let her catch up. "Did you see someone familiar?"
"I'm very sure I saw Shrimp." He muttered, or maybe he didn't... there were other people with similar orange hair. He sighed and let it go. Yachi responded with an oh.
"Say, Tsukishima-kun... do you like books?" Yachi asked, trying to start a conversation.
"Yeah... History, Mathematics, physics-" he was stopped by her.
"N-no, I meant like storybooks... fiction, non-fiction, literature, poets?" She said, Tsukishima stayed silent trying to think about a book. Yachi panicked. "A-ah! You don't have to say if you don't feel comfortable sharing-"
"I like literature, specifically the ones talking about human nature," Tsukishima said, he fixed his glasses and looked at the girl. "How about you? I assume you'd be into romantic fiction?" Yachi chuckled and shook her head.
"Poems. And adventure books. But recently I've been reading some adult tip books... Just about finding happiness in little things, or a bit of romantic advice? Not that I want to find a partner! It is just interesting to read... A-anyway, some self-confidence books and- OH! There was one book about inner jokes to yourself to make you happy and it was interesting how you can trick your brain into-" she stopped, covering her mouth instinctively. Tsukishima tilted his head, wondering why she stopped. "I-I'm sorry Tsukishima-kun! I got carried away and- agh! I started rambling again!" Yachi blurted out, hitting her forehead out of habit.
"Hm? But I was getting interested in the books you read. Especially the last one." Tsukishima said, his calm exterior shocking her a bit.
Yachi relaxed.
Right, Tsukishima is a calm river flowing so freely, while she is the waterfall at the end. She was kinda thankful for his calm and collected personality, if it were anyone else, they would panic while trying to stop her or get annoyed.
"Aren't you gonna continue?" She heard him again, she relaxed even more and nodded. She smiled and opened her mouth to talk. They walked around aimlessly and talked about the books they liked. She took notice of how Tsukishima had liked books about human nature or poems and literature about humanity. He said, and she quotes, "The human mind is interesting to learn about. We are so unexpected and different from each other, it's hard to fully understand how we work."
They exchanged recommendations of books and agreed to try to find a bookstore.
"Anyways, I want to read a newly released book, 1001 funny comebacks part 5, I've read all the others and I want to finally get one of the books in the series-" Yachi said, smiling. Tsukishima nodded, feeling very relaxed. Then he saw another familiar shout, it sounded like Kageyama's insults to Hinata, he turned his head to the voice. He frowned, not seeing any familiar face.
"Yachi-san, did you hear that?" He asked, still looking around. Yachi also stopped and nodded.
"It sounded like Kageyama's voice." She said, also starting to look around. Did their friends actually come? After a few more minutes of looking around, it was all fruitless. They both sighed and got back to window shopping.
"Yachi-san, have you ever been into an arcade?" Tsukishima said, grabbing her wrist to stop her. Yachi glanced at him then to the arcade. She shook her head.
"I've always wanted to go... but everyone looked so intimidating so I would always run away..." she admitted, blushing in embarrassment.
Tsukishima pulled her along, opening the doors to the arcade. The blasting music filled their ears and the smell of candy and one too many air freshener came into their senses. Yachi looked around at the many neon looking machines, some looked fun. She grinned taking in the aura of the place. There were kids with their parents playing, some teens like them all in groups, a few adults probably on a date. She couldn't contain her excitement.
They exchanged some money for the arcade coins- well Tsukishima did as he ignored the girls' protests. They walked around the arcade, waiting for her to pick a game.
"Tsukishima-kun! Let's go there!" She said, tugging on his sleeve, he followed the girl. She smiled brightly in front of the air hockey table. Tsukishima snickered.
"Out of everything, you picked this?" He said, teasing the shorter blonde. She pouted her lips and folded her arms.
"I've been wanting to try this! Please?" She said, giving hopeful eyes. Tsukishima clicked his tongue and turned away from the innocent face. He muttered an okay. He pushed the two coins into the coin hole. The disc popped out and he placed it on the table.
"Wait... how do you play?" Yachi asked, looking at him seriously. Tsukishima stared at the girl, dumbfounded.
"Ha!?" He blurted out. Yachi just laughed guiltily. After explaining the rules, they finally started. He hit the disc straight to her side, she panicked but still managed to block it, getting the point as it went through his goal. Tsukishima stared at her in disbelief.
They continued again. Yachi, even though being a panicked mess, still managed to win. Tsukishima couldn't believe he lost to a girl who never once stepped foot in an arcade.
"Tsukki-kun! Did you see that!? I won!!" Yachi cheered, too happy for her own good. She didn't even notice the nickname he threw at him. Tsukishima admitted his defeat and let the girl have her moment, he'll surely win the next round.
"The one who wins gets one wish and the loser must fulfill that wish," he bet, he was confident about winning. Yachi gave a determined grin and agreed.
They went to more games. Wack the mole, some shooting games, and even basketball. She won everything besides basketball. Tsukishima couldn't feel anything but the bitter defeat.
How? How did she win on her first try? He won basketball because of his height, and that doesn't count for his ego.
"Ha ha ha! You owe me a wish!" She teased, feeling proud of herself. Tsukishima was going to fire back at her, but stopped when he saw her grinning face, he sighed and let her have the fair victory. He instinctively patted her head.
"Good job, you won with beginners luck" he said, Yachi smiled and nodded. They got a fair bit of tickets so they went to the prize booth.
In the end, they got a mini volleyball squishy and 2 pink heart pens. He insisted to let her keep the volleyball squishy. Yachi placed the pen and the volleyball in her sling bag.
They got out of the arcade and resumed walking. They felt way more comfortable and started talking about random things.
"I totally can beat you at that video game!" Yachi said, still feeling her victory. Tsukishima rolled his eyes but grinned.
"We'll see about that, I'll have you know, I beat Tanaka-san and Noya-san. They were at grand Master level. You won't stand a chance." Tsukishima said, Yachi laughed and nodded, not believing him. They changed topics as they passed by a cute dog cafe.
"Ne, Tsukki-kun, which is better? Cats or dogs?" Yachi asked, Tsukishima thought about it for a while.
"Definitely Cats. You just need to give them food and they disappear in the house. You don't even need to let them out." Tsukishima said, Yachi frowned.
"Nu-uh, Dogs are also great! They're so loving and they care about you. Besides going on walks is healthy." Yachi said, Tsukishima shrugged. In the end, they both agreed to disagree.
.
They saw a dessert shop, Tsukishima instinctively just walked in. The smell of sweets luring him in.
"No way, Tsukki-kun has a sweet tooth?" Yachi teased, walking into the dessert shop. Tsukishima ignored her as he grabbed the box of strawberry macaroons.
"I never thought YOU would be into more bitter things. Seriously coffee buns?? We're in a dessert shop." Tsukishima commented, she also ignored him. They purchased their snacks, eating them at the seats the shop provided.
"You should really try it! Coffee buns aren't that bitter," Yachi said. Tsukishima muttered something about coffee beans but agreed, Yachi smiled and held out her coffee bun for him to take a bite. He took a bite and frowned.
"I hate that it's actually good." He said, Yachi snickered. Tsukishima then pushed his macaroons to her.
"And these aren't that sweet. Try one," he said, Yachi agreed and took one macaroon. She takes a bite and her eyes shined.
"It tastes like those sour strawberries, but it still has that sweet balance! It's good," she commented, grinning. They finished their snacks.
Tsukishima asked if they should start finding a place for lunch, Yachi agreed. They walked around until they found a nice pasta house. They shrugged and walked in.
"You don't like creamy pasta? How? Why?" Yachi questioned, Tsukishima shrugged, eating his tomato chicken pasta.
"I don't really like creamy stuff... even with desserts. It just grosses me out." He answered her questions. Yachi nodded, eating her carbonara pasta.
She looked around the room, many couples littered around the place, a few friend groups caught her attention. Actually, 1 friend group caught her attention, they look very similar to her teammates. She shrugged and didn't bother, she trusts her teammates won't do anything stupid.
"You're really unpredictable..." Tsukishima caught her attention, he was resting his head on his hand, staring right at her. Yachi froze, blushing hard. What did he mean? Tsukishima chuckled and looked back down on his food, acting as if nothing happened. Did Yachi just imagined that? It felt too real though. She ignored the fluttering feelings she had and focused on her food.
"Yachi-san?" She was startled by his voice, she looked up and tilted her head.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to startle you. You were zoning out." Tsukishima apologized. Yachi nodded, hoping her heart would calm down.
"Anyway... don't you think it's weird everyone just suddenly flaked?" Tsukishima started, looking at his food. Yachi nodded. "It's like... they planned it," Tsukishima said, a bit louder. Yachi nodded again, she understood what he said.
They finished off by bickering on who pays the bill, Yachi won since he already spent money on their arcade expenses awhile ago. They stepped out on the afternoon air.
"Hey, do you think there's a bookstore here?" Tsukishima asked, taking out his phone to search for any places. Yachi shrugged but leaned closer to him to see his screen better.
"Ah, It's near here. We just gotta turn right." Yachi said, pointing on his phone to the bookstore. Tsukishima nodded. They walked slowly, taking their time.
.
"Tsukki-kun, sticky notes are the best invention mankind has made. Like- you have no more space on your notes? Sticky notes! You need a reminder on your fridge to get milk? Sticky notes!"
"No, no. Headphones are definitely the best invention. You can block out annoying people AND listen to music instead, without bothering anyone."
"Nu-uh, sticky notes."
"I'm telling you, it's headphones."
"Pft, please. Sticky notes can help with so many things. Headphones only can do less than half of what sticky notes can do."
"Ha! At least Headphones can be reused for many years. Once you peel of 1 sticky note, you'll have to eventually throw it away." Yachi frowned and pouted.
"Tsukki-kun, you're really mean!" She said, grumbling. Tsukishima grinned.
"You do know that I take that as a compliment?" Tsukishima said, snickering. Yachi rolled her eyes but had to agree, he was a salty ball of... well, salt.
"Oh, look. We're here." Tsukishima said, pulling her to stop. They almost passed by the bookstore. Yachi stared at the pretty details of the store, it didn't stand out that much and even with the crowded people outside, not many actually went in. Tsukishima opened the door and let her in first, she said a thank you and looked at the musty room. It smelled like old book covers and a hint of coffee.
They walked around aimlessly, sometimes scattering away from each other, but they always managed to meet back up. Yachi grinned, pulling him to where she wanted to go. Tsukishima followed her along with the old books and worn out bookshelves. Yachi smiled and finally reached the adult humor section.
"I think this is the section," she said, looking at the rows of books. She finally found the book, she tiptoed to grab it. She frowned as the book was almost at her reach, she just needed a centimeter or even half a centimeter to reach it.
She relaxed when his hand brushed against hers as he grabbed the book. He held it out to her. She smiled and took it. She flipped a few pages, he leaned down to read too.
"This one- this one was really funny," Yachi said, pointing to the paragraph, giggling. Tsukishima read it and chuckled.
"These are actually funny, good job Yachi-san," he praised the girl. Yachi flushed, her heart thumping a bit harder. Yachi's cheeks flushed. Tsukishima noticed and decided to tease her further.
"Oh, ho? Yachi-san can't take compliments??" He said, Yachi puffed her cheeks and hit his shoulder with the book. Tsukishima laughed, like actually genuinely laughed.
Yachi stared in awe, she never thought she would see him actually laugh like a human. She quickly took out her phone and snapped a picture. He immediately stopped and stared at her seriously.
"Yachi-san. Delete that." He ordered the girl, Yachi grinned and saved it. Tsukishima was going to grab her phone, but she duck low.
"You're too tall to catch me!" She said ducking low. Tsukishima's eyes twitched as he tried to get the tiny girl to give him the phone. She wouldn't let him get her phone, over her dead body. He finally trapped her, slamming his hands on either side of her, pinning her on the bookshelf.
"Tsukishima it's just one photo!" She tried to reason with him, giggling. Tsukishima didn't want to admit but he was enjoying the day. In the end he let her keep the photo, but on one condition, she won't let any of his teammates see it.
"Pinky promise!" She said, holding out her pinky, Tsukishima hesitated but curled his pinky onto hers. Yachi grinned and nodded. They carried on browsing the books.
"You do know that they've been following us, right?" Tsukishima said, casually flipping the book he was reading.
"Yeah. They aren't that hidden. Walking in a big group is basically asking to be found," Yachi said, not batting an eye. They glanced at the big group trying to see through the windows. Tsukishima sighed.
"Even Yamaguchi is there. I swear to God- they're so embarrassing," Tsukishima said, rubbing his temples. Yachi chuckled and nodded.
"Shimizu-senpai has a camera. I wonder how many pictures she had taken already." Yachi said, looking like she wasn't surprised by their club mates. They ignored their antics.
"Let's meet them?" Yachi asked, looking back at him. Tsukishima shrugged, he really didn't want to, seeing as they faked being busy but still came to stalk them. Besides, he was enjoying their unexpected date.
"I don't know... they're loud, nosy, rowdy and annoying," Tsukishima started, he closed his book and fixed his glasses. "Let's just wait till they say something, they tried to hide from us just now but now they're just showing it. I swear they're so-" he sighed and dropped his words, no need to get irritated by their teammates. Yachi chuckled and nodded.
"Where should we go next?" She asked, changing the subject. Tsukishima shrugged, they placed their books back and left the place, trying to ignore their noisy teammates who are trying to hide. They noticed Hinata and Kageyama fighting for a hiding spot.
"Hinota Boke!" Kageyama shouted, Yachi and Tsukishima stopped. Yachi chuckled nervously as she tries her best not to notice them. But Tsukishima was already glaring at them, not even trying to hide the fact that they saw the two idiots.
"Huhhh? King and shrimp." Tsukishima called out menacingly. Yachi stared at them blankly, not knowing what to do. Hinata and Kageyama stopped and turned to Tsukishima in horror.
"Ahh! Tsukishima! Did you not see my message? I finally got through the snow!" Hinata tried to explain.
"I found my way back..." Kageyama muttered. Tsukishima clicked his tongue.
"A-ah... where are the rest? We saw them here just now..." Yachi said, looking around. Slowly one by one the got out of their hiding spots.
"G-gomen Tsukki... they told me to lie if I wanted to keep my secret." Yamaguchi said, bowing low. (He was lying and Tsukishima knew that.)
"They blackmailed me," Tanaka muttered, hiding a Shimizu photo album.
"Hehe, I guess we got caught," Sugawara said, scratching his head.
Yachi and Tsukishima sighed, they don't even know why their teammates decide to do this to them if they were all just coming anyways.
"Why? Why???" Tsukishima asked, sounding a bit desperate.
"It was his idea!" They all shouted, pointing at whoever. Yachi facepalmed. She actually just couldn't handle her teammates behavior.
With a lot of arguing and fights, they finally all settled down and walked as a group. Yachi felt a little hurt that they left her and Tsukishima, she didn't even know why they left them alone in the dark. She flinched when a hand patted her shoulder.
"You're overthinking things," Tsukishima said, looking down at her, concerned. Yachi just shrugged, still very confused "They probably did it because they wanted to pair us up. I doubt it's because they didn't care about us."
Yachi sighed, her head clearing a bit. She had to thank Tsukishima for helping her understand. For starters how they flaked away and still managed to hide over half of the time, and even managing the whole group to cooperate, just what motivation did they have?
Yachi shook her head and decided not to dwell too much on the questions, she looked at the rowdy group talking over one another but still having a clear understanding on where to go. She was at the back of the group with Tsukishima, just looking and not really getting involved with the noisy teammates.
"Hey- Let's slip away. I wanna try that bubble tea shop." Tsukishima said, tugging on her shoulder gently. Yachi stopped with him and turned to where he was pointing. She grinned and nodded, why not? They'll easily find their way back to the group seeing as they were so loud and noisy. They crossed the street and lined up for the shop.
"What a weird day huh?" Yachi said, fidgeting with her hands. Tsukishima hummed a yes. He knew from the start that something was wrong, and just seeing that bit of orange hair made him realized that his teammates have been following them. He is impressed though, whenever he tried to find them, he only gets a glance and they suddenly magically disappeared.
They got their bubble tea and strolled along the street, just enjoying the moment.
Yachi felt her phone vibrate, she took it out and saw the message.
Hinata: Yachi-san, going to the arcade. Where did you guys go?
Yachi pulled Tsukishima down, he reluctantly leaned down. She held out her phone to him as he read the text.
"Tsk. I would rather not get kicked out of an arcade with them." He took a sip of his drink, Yachi giggled and nodded. She sent a quick reply "going home! Have fun Hinata-kun" she closed her phone and placed it back in her bag.
"Hmm, Tsukishima-kun? If what you said is true... did they flaked on us so that we were tricked into going on a date?" Yachi asked, looking at Tsukishima innocently. Tsukishima almost choked on his drink. He blushed hard and looked away.
"I guess so... but why?" He said, he nervously started glancing around the street, trying to calm down his beating heart. Why did the word date make him so flustered?
"Hmm, I don't know either... b-but! I had a fun date today!" Yachi added, smiling brightly. Tsukishima almost choked on a pearl, his heart was squeezing so tightly around his chest, and his face was getting heated up.
"Y-yeah... I had a nice date with you." He muttered, glancing at her. Yachi nodded, the girl can be quite a tease without knowing it. It wasn't good for his heart.
After walking around, buying some things- well, Yachi begging him to let her go in some stationery stores and art stores and Tsukishima pulling her to a record store. They have finally agreed to go home. They didn't bother trying to get back with their teammates since they were the first to leave them.
They took the packed train and then got off and walked to the bus stop, they had an enjoyable conversation about movies and what movies they should definitely check out. They also talked about dinosaurs, posters and the media industry, something about Tsukishima liking strawberry shortcakes, and many more random topics. They sat down on the seats of the bus stop, waiting for their bus.
"Ah! I should give your coat and scarf back-" Yachi cut herself off from a topic about school. She tugged on the scarf to let it come undone but he grabbed her wrist to stop her.
"It's fine. You can give it back to me on a later day," he started, wrapping the scarf back on her neck. "Besides, its colder at night. You will definitely catch a cold."
Yachi pouted but nodded, they got on the empty bus and silently sat down beside each other. It was a warm and comfortable silence, both silently agreeing to be quiet. She felt his head on her head, she panicked and looked up to see his closed eyes and soft, even breathing. Yachi sighed and let the tired boy sleep. She kept an eye out for his bus stop. She chuckled when she heard him mutter some incoherent words.
"Tsukishima-kun? The next stop is your stop" she gently shook him, his tired eyes blinked open. He shook his head and sat up, rubbing his eyes.
"Its fine. I'll walk you home," was all he said as the bus didn't stop, since no one pressed the bell. Yachi told him he should have gone home and it was fine to walk alone, but Tsukishima ignored her and stayed still on his seat.
"C'mon, it's already night. What if something happened to you?" Tsukishima looked at her, concerned. Yachi's nagging stopped and she had to do nothing but let him. "Besides, our club mates, especially Shimizu-senpai, would kill me if I didn't." He muttered, earlier that evening, he received a message from Yamaguchi.
"Tsukki! Our teammates said that you should walk her home or else they will kill you! Gomen!"
They got off the next stop and walked to her home, not really in a rush.
"I had fun today! Thank you Tsukishima-kun," Yachi smiled brightly, the boy nodded. He didn't want to admit it, but he had fun... he really had fun, so much that he actually would want to go with her again.
"Let's do it again then," Tsukishima said, Yachi stopped and stared at him, a bit shocked and surprised at his words. Tsukishima ruffled the girl's head to make her stop staring at him.
"We're at your building already. I'll see you at school." Tsukishima said, pointing behind her. Yachi's eyes widened and turned around to see her apartment building, she turned back to see him starting to walk.
"Bye Tsukishima-kun! H-have a safe trip home!" She called out to him, he turned to her, he had an unreadable face, but as their eyes met, a smile began to form. He waved at her and gently smiled. He walked away, placing his headphones on his head for the first time today. Yachi took one last glance before going into her building.
Yachi wasn't going to deny it, she wanted another date-hang out with the blonde boy. And she definitely felt her heart fluttering just thinking about it. Tsukishima Kei was something that she wanted to know more off. He has a cold exterior with a very intimidating stare, but behind all that is a warm and gentle guy, who isn't that salty like everyone makes him out to be.
He is definitely kind. And definitely Yachi's crush.
