Chapter 4 - Lost memories

The next day Naruto and Kakashi woke up early. They were sleeping at the hospital, they both leaning on the wall....It is the day Hinata and Sakura will wake up. The first to wake up is Hinata. Naruto cried and he said thatbit was tears of joy.

Naruto: Hinata! Thank God you're awake!

Hinata: Where am I?

Naruto: At the hospital, You were injected by some poison.. do you remember?

Hinata: N-no I-I can't remember.... Ouch my head hurts!

Naruto: What?! Wait a minute, I'll call a doctor

While Naruto is searching a doctor for Hinata and Sakura is still asleep, A report about the poison was given to the hokage...

Tsunade: What??!

Shizune: They still not sure but most likely it is really a brain poison

Tsunade: What are the other details?

Shizune: The brain poison is a poison that makes the memories of an individual gone. If it's remove the person will not die but if not, the person will die. If there's many traces of poison in the brain, all memories will gone, if not some memories will gone. If they have someone special to them, it will be faster to regain the lost memories but if they don't have then will wait for a miracle.

Tsunade: Then Hinata will be okay... there's only a little traces of poison found besides Naruto is there for her, the problem is....

Shizune: Sakura, right?

Tsunade: There are many traces of poison found on Sakura's brain besides Sakura doesn't have someone special... What about the person she's with the most? Can it bring the lost memories?

Shizune: Yeah, I guess, but who is it? Ino?

Tsunade: Yeah... there's another one *smile*

After a long search, Naruto found a doctor and they rush to Hinata

Doc: She's okay now, we can discharge her tomorrow

Naruto: Thanks Doc

Doc: You're welcome, I shall go now

Naruto: Yeah, Thanks again Doc

Then the Docter left the room

Naruto: *sigh* Are you okay now, Hinata?

Hinata: Y-yeah... (Who is this guy) Ummm... Who are you?

Naruto: What do you mean Hinata? It's me Naruto

Hinata: Naruto? I don't remember you...

Because of this Naruto look like he will cry

Naruto: Hinata, It's me Naruto..... Do you remember me?

Hinata: I-I don't remember you...

Naruto: N-no way....

Naruto immediately leave the room...

Kakashi: Naruto! Wait!

Kakashi tried to chase Naruto but before he could chase him, Sakura woke up...

Kakashi: Yo! Sakura!

Sakura: Where am I?

Kakashi: At the hospital..

Sakura: Huh? Who are you?

Kakashi: What? You don't know me?

Sakura: Y-yeah...

Then Hinata saw Sakura

Hinata: Sakura-chan?

Sakura: Who are you?

Hinata: It's me Hinata

Sakura: Sorry Hinata, I can't remember you

Hinata: I'm one of your friends

Sakura: Really?! But I can't really remember...

Hinata: Oh, I see

Sakura: Don't worry I will remember you

Hinata: Maybe you just needed rest...

Sakura: Yeah, maybe....

While Sakura and Hinata is talking, Kakashi is sitting at the chair and his head leaning the wall.... Then Kakashi got an idea...

Kakashi: Sakura, why don't we visit all your friends?? Maybe it can help you remember them or something?

Sakura: O-okay..

Kakashi: Let's visit them tomorrow, you should rest first...

Sakura nodded and the next morning Sakura was discharged at the hospital.. also Hinata. Sakura and Kakashi went to all Sakura's friends but she can't remember them.... They also went to the Hokage tower but she also can't remember Tsunade so they left the office and while walking....

Kakashi: Why don't we eat on Ichiraku ramen? My treat.... I'm hungry and you also need to eat, you're in coma for 3 days...

Sakura: Yeah, you're right... Ummm... I forgot to ask, What's you're name?

Kakashi: I'm Hatake Kakashi...

Sakura: Nice to meet you Kakashi! You're one of my friends right?

Kakashi: Actually I'm your-...

Sakura: Let's talk later, I'm really hungry.... Let's go Kakashi

Kakashi: Yeah... let's go...

Kakashi noticed that Sakura didn't put the "sensei" but he did not say it because he thinks Sakura will get worst and also he's the one she trust the most so he just wish a miracle will happen. Hinata was also discharged and was walking through the streets. The next day Tsunade called Naruto, Kakashi, Sakura, and Hinata for a mission.

Naruto: Tsunade-baachan, why do I need to go to a mission?

Tsunade: Quiet! I don't want to hear anything. Just finish it and come back home, It's not an easy mission you know!

Naruto: Yeah.. I know!

Tsunade: You may now leave

Kakashi, Sakura, Naruto and Hinata left the village for the mission and while jumping on the trees, they encounter some strong rouge ninjas. Naruto and Kakashi were the one who fought them and after some few minutes, they manage to defeat the rouge ninjas but they are really injured. Sakura cannot perform medical ninjutsu because she forgot all her memories even the medical ninjutsu. So the two run towards Kakashi and Naruto. The two girls cannot do anything but cry...

Sakura: Kakashi! Don't leave me! My memories haven't return yet.. please don't leave me!

Kakashi: Don't worry Sakura.... I... will not die.... Don't cry... It makes.... me sad... when I... see you crying..*look to Naruto* Naruto... can I do it to Sakura?

Naruto: Just do it.... sensei...

Sakura: (sensei..? So His sensei is Kakashi??)

Kakashi: Alright...

Naruto: You will now remember me Hinata.....

Naruto kissed Hinata and he fell asleep. Hinata suddenly remember Naruto and what happened and her face turned red. Kakashi also kissed Sakura then also fell asleep. Sakura didn't remember Kakashi but she remember her friends and medical ninjutsu so she performed it to Kakashi and Naruto. She still can't remember that Kakashi is her sensei. They both carry Kakashi and Naruto piggy back style and went to Konoha medical hospital. When they arrived, Sakura immediately called the nurses and then they start operating on the two. After some few minutes, the operation was success and she was able to remove the needles on Kakashi's arm and on Naruto's hands and feet. They were transfered on different rooms. Sakura and Hinata is waiting for Kakashi and Naruto to wake up. After some few minutes, Naruto woke up...

Naruto: Where am I?

Hinata: Umm.. You're at the hospital, N-Naruto-kun...*blush*

Naruto: You remember me now, Hinata?! *surprise*

Hinata: Y-Yes... N-Naruto-kun *blush*

Naruto: Yatta!! I thought you'll never remember me!! Anyway, let's go out, I'm kinda hungry....

Hinata: You can't leave the Hospital Naruto-kun... I-I will buy you a cup ramen....

Naruto: O-okay.... Thanks Hinata!

On Kakashi's room...

Kakashi: Where am I?

Sakura: You're at the hospital. Thanks to me you we're saved.

Kakashi: Do you remember me?

Sakura: No, I just remember my friends and the medical ninjutsu. I just wonder why can't I remember you...

Kakashi: Oh, I see... You'll remember me someday..

Sakura: But now that you're awake, let me ask you one thing.. Why did you kiss me?!

Kakashi: I thought you'll remember me if I kiss you...

Sakura: I remember my friends but why did you kiss me on the lips?! Can't you just kiss me on the cheeks? !

Kakashi cannot take it anymore..

Kakashi: I just concern about you! Because I can't take it that you can't remember me but you remember all of your friends!!

Sakura: Then don't be concern about me!

Kakashi: Don't you know that I'm the only one concern about you?! I'm trying my best for you to remember me!!

Sakura: I don't know... I just wish... I'll never remember you!! *get out of the room*

Kakashi: Wait! Sakura! I just- * She slammed the door* (What am I doing?)

Sakura, while walking through the hospital corridor...

Sakura: Tsss! I really wish i will never remember him! He really makes me...AH! I don't know! I know that he's concern about me because he's my friend but.....AHH!! I really don't know! Maybe I'll just go to Ino....

So Sakura went to Ino. Meanwhile, Hinata got back in Naruto's room

Hinata: Naruto-kun *knock*

Naruto: Hinata? Come in!

Hinata: Here's your cup ramen Naruto-kun... *blush*

Naruto: Thanks Hinata, you're so sweet.... but how can I eat it??

Hinata: I-I umm... I will feed y-you....

Naruto: Really? Thank you Hinata!!

Few hours passed. It's already night so Hinata and Sakura went home. Naruto is sleeping but Kakashi can't. He can't sleep because of what Sakura said so he just read his favorite book until he become sleepy and he sleep. The next day, Naruto and Kakashi was discharged and Naruto was sent on a mission with Yamato, Ino, and Sai. Sakura and Kakashi never talk to each other since that day. Then Sakura noticed something and she was searching for Kakashi. After some few minutes of long search, she found him leaning on a tree reading his book. She walk towards him and stop in front of him. Kakashi noticed her in front of him standing. He look to her then he look back again to his book then he stood up. He start walking and leaving Sakura there on the tree beside the hokage office but Sakura stopped him.

Sakura: Kakashi! Wait!Kakashi: What is it? Sakura: The thing you said at the hospitalKakashi: I don't want to remember itSakura: Please Kakashi.. Please repeat what you said that timeKakashi: Okay.. fine.. but I'll say it once.... I said that I kissed you because I want you to remember me and I'm concerned about you because I feel that my heart's gonna break that you can't remember meSakura: Why would you be concerned about me?Kakashi: I don't knowSakura: If you don't know, why are you doing it?Kakashi: I really don't know! Just leave me alone! You really don't care about me now!Sakura: Who the hell said that?!Kakashi: You! You said that you wish you will never remember me again! That words made my heart broken!Sakura: Really?! Why?? Maybe you're not just my friend

Kakashi's eyes widened.

Kakashi: Huh? What do you mean?Sakura: Maybe you are..... my boyfriend?Kakashi: What??! What did you just say??Sakura: I said are you my boyfriend??Kakashi: It's kinda... (No way! Am I stuttering?!)Sakura: What?? Maybe you really are my borfriend.. look at your self, you're turning red *teasing*Kakashi: I'm not!Sakura: Don't worry, I'll be a perfect girlfriend for you.. Also, sorry for what I said at the hospitalKakashi: It's okay.... Ummm..Sakura..Sakura: Hmmmm..?Kakashi: Nothing...Sakura: Hmm? okay.. Let's go! *smile*Kakashi: Huh? Where?Sakura: Treat me to Ichiraku Ramen and let's walk together after we eat... I kinda missed you, you know... *smile*Kakashi: Why me? You treat me *teasing*Sakura: Just treat me please Kakashi... that way you can repay meKakashi: Repay you for what? Sakura: Repay me for saving your life *wink* Kakashi: Fine!Sakura: Yes! Thank you Kakashi! *hug*Kakashi: Sakura.. I ... *sigh* nevermind... You're welcome *smile*

Kakashi also hug her but they didn't noticed that they are quarelling like lovers under the tree beside the hokage tower so Tsunade saw them while they are quarelling Tsunade was smiling at the office then Shizune who just entered the office saw Tsunade smiling...

Shizune: Why are you smiling, Tsunade-sama? Tsunade: Look at themShizune: Huh? *look at the window* Is that Sakura? and is that Kakashi??!Tsunade: He can help her remember everything...*smile*

Then Sakura and Kakashi left, they are walking through the streets...

Sakura: What?? *annoyed*Kakashi: What? I'm doing nothingSakura: Don't stare to me like that! Kakashi: Hai, Hai.. *smile*

Then Yamato appeared

Yamato: Senpai! Tsunade-sama is calling youKakashi: I'll walk Sakura to Ichiraku Ramen and then go to the Hokage officeSakura: Just go Kakashi, I'll just make Captain Yamato to walk me thereKakashi: No! I'll be the one to walk you to Ichiraku RamenYamato: But Senpai...!Kakashi: Shut up Yamato!Sakura: Kakashi!

Kakashi was surprised

Sakura: Tsunade-sama is calling you! I can go there, don't worryKakashi: But I... Tsss!

Kakashi suddenly vanish.

Sakura: *sigh* Sorry Captain Yamato, I guess he is just tired... Yamato: It's okay... Sakura: I should get going now, see you aroundYamato: Yeah, see you around.

The next day Naruto woke up early then he went to Ino

Naruto: Ino!! Goodmorning! Please make me a boquet of rosesIno: Why? Naruto: Umm..Ino: Maybe it's for Hinata, right?Naruto: It's not! *blush*Ino: Really??Naruto: Fine! It's for her... Ino: I knew it! Naruto: Hurry up will you?Ino: Okay! Okay!

After some few minutes...

Ino: Here!Naruto: Thanks!Ino: Say hi to Hinata for me! Naruto: Okay!

Then Naruto left and went to Hinata's home and wait outside

Hinata: Goodmorning Naruto-kun...Naruto: Goodmorning, here! *gives boquet* Hinata: T-thank you N-Naruto- kun...Naruto: It's nothing! Hinata: Naruto-kun, do you remember that day?Naruto: Huh? What day?Hinata: When you first walk me home...Naruto: Hmmm..? AHH!!!

*Flashback*

While Naruto and Hinata are walking together towards her home, a white light appeared at the tree

Naruto: WAAH!! Hinata: Naruto-kun?Naruto: Who is that?Hinata: It's just the light of the moon... Naruto: Eh??Hinata: *laughing softly*Naruto: It's not funny, Hinata.. Hinata: Sorry... let's hurry up before the moon go away .. if it's dark, you'll never see the road...also I heard that there are ghost here...Naruto: WAAAH!!Hinata: J-just kidding *smile* Naruto: Hinata.... stop scaring me like that... Hinata: Okay... let's go home...

*End of Flashback*

Naruto: AHH! I remember now..Hinata: Sorry Naruto-kun...Naruto: It's okay... 

Naruto and Hinata walk together through the streets..On the other hand, Kakashi and Sakura never talk starting that day.  Sakura always go with Captain Yamato..

Yamato: Sakura, You're not talking to Kakashi-senpai??Sakura: He's the one that doesn't want to talk!Yamato: Why don't you try to talk to him and ask what's wrong?Sakura: I don't know where he lives..Yamato: I see... Sakura can I ask you something?Sakura: Sure, what is it?Yamato: Do you like senpai??Sakura: What?! N-No... I-I.... D-Don't! *blush*Yamato: Then why are you blushing??Sakura: I-I....Yamato: Don't worry, It's a secret, I promise.. Sakura: It's a secret, okay??Yamato: Okay!
