Zeref stared with cold eyes, he didn't know how to process this new information.

Katsu Shinsogu is dead.

He doesn't know how to feel about it.

Neisho also said that Mika is M,I,A.

He was so angry, yet so calm.

Ready to kill, yet so tired.

So emotional, yet so numb.

He heard heavy footsteps behined him, they weren't Neisho's, they were too heavy, but too light for a child.

"It hurts, but I feel empty, he was so close to me that I never noticed just how close until he was gone." Zeref explained.

The other being was quiet.

"Jiraiya, his Gaki and I are going on a mission, do you wish to come? We're going after a friend" Acnologia asked.

The dark haired male nodded, and left to go pack his things.

From this day forward, Team 5 is no more.

On his way back to his apartment Zeref passed Hinata, who was walking with her cousin.

The two got along quite well after their match, and the mistake was finally made clear, though Neji still held a small grudge on his uncle, it wasn't taken out on Hinata anymore.

"Z-Zeref!" Hinata shouted, surprisingly.

Zeref's dull pitch black eyes connected with Hinata's beautiful, lavender ones, and for a brief, unnoticeable second.

Zeref's breath was taken away.

"Hinata, sorry I have to go pack, I'll be out of the village for a while." Zeref explained, he chose to ignore the increasing rate of his heart beat, and the small layer red that covered his cheeks.

Though Hinata was no better.

"O-oh, ok I-I'll talk to y-you when you g-g-get back, ok" she said.

Zeref found her stutter, and blushing surprisingly cute for some reason.

"Ok. Look after her for me, will you Neji, she can be really clumsy sometimes." Zeref said.

Neji noticed the pair blushing, but chose not to act on it, he would let the two figure it out on their own.

After seeing a nod from Neji the Uchiha left to go gather his things.

Zeref stood at the Gates of Konoha with Acnologia and Jiraiya, they were waiting for someone not that Zeref knew who.

When the boy in Orange arrived with a huge backpack, Jiraiya had to repack it for him before they finally set off.

While walking the loud pair were talking about the awesome Jutsu Naruto would learn.

On the other hand the other two stayed quiet, he wanted to use this chance to clear his thoughts before he did something he would regret.

"Hey, Zeref what awesome Jutsu will you learn!?" Naruto asked.

"I don't know, knowing how Lazy this idiot is, I'll either be practicing the Jutsu's I know or training with my Summons" Zeref replied.

"Do the Dragons respect him already?" Jiraiya asked.

Acnologia nodded his head.

After a few more hours of walking night finally made it's appearance, but so did a small Village.

Walking to the village Zeref was slowly getting more annoyed at the thought that the village his brother protected wanted him dead.

Now that he thought about it, how was he alive?

From what he read in the scrolls the deal was that only Sasuke would live, and yet here he was.

There must be something else he was missing, but he could only get the truth from the man himself.

Zeref needed a second brain to help with this, someone he could trust, so he summoned Ryu.

"Hey buddy.... you ok?" Ryu asked, he landed on Zeref's outstretched right arm and looked at him dead in the eyes. His Maroon eyes connecting with Zeref's black ones.

"Yeah, I just need a second opinion on something" Zeref muttered.

He was now walking a few paces behined the three other Ninja to talk to his summon in private, so he could explain his dilemma.

"Oh, hmm. I'm not sure why you asked me this, Grampa would be a better choice, but if you want my opinion, your better of just asking this Itachi guy yourself." Ryu said.

"Thanks, I was going to but I needed a second opinion. Igneel would work, but your my partner and first summon, if I can't trust you who can I trust?" Zeref said.

Ryu looked at Zeref with awe, he liked this guy alot.

With the talking done, Ryu sat on Zeref's head, as said boy walked back in line with the three others.

"Hey Zeref is that your summon?" Naruto asked looking at the black and white dragon on the boys head.

Zeref nodded.

"Cool! Beleive it! Hey can he breath fire!" Naruto said.

"I'm a fire dragon, I'll get my colours to match the element in a few years, but all baby dragons start off as black and white. Grampa Igneel really is my Grampa, that's why." Ryu explained.

Zeref nodded taking in his words.

Coming upon the village they decided to rest at Jiraya spots and get lured off by a woman who Zeref could care less about.

"Here kid, get to the room, I'll handle this idiot." Acnologia said handing Zeref the room key.

Acnologia walked off chasing after Jiraya leaving the two boys alone.

Giving a heavy sigh Zeref walked to their room with Naruto right behined him.

When they arrived in the room Naruto sat on his bed.

"Damm pervy Sage, ditching us." Naruto grumbled.

Zeref sat on the other bed and Ryu hopped off his head on landedinfront of him.

"Alright Zeref, since you'll most likely be training with us I can give you a head start. I want you to meditate, once you feel your body starting to heat up more than it normally would, try to stretch your Chakra as far as possible." Ryu explained.

Naruto started whining about how Zeref gets to start training but he can't but was wisely ignored.

Zeref closed his eyes and searched his whole body until he felt hot, really hot, almost as if he was standing right next to Lava.

Once he felt it he stretched his Chakra, only to discover two tiny, foreign Chakra signatures outside their door.

Opening his eyes, he assumed it was Jiraiya and Acnologia making their signatures.

Knock knock.

"Eh, who's that?" Naruto asked.

Red flags went off in Zeref's head, if it was their Sensei's they would have made themselves known.

"Stay." Zeref said to Naruto who noticed the serious look on his face.

"Why?" Naruto whispered. Zeref didn't answer.

"Ryu, go out the window and follow the scent of Acnologia, tell him we need him, now" Zeref whispered.

Ryu nodded and flew out the window.

Knock, Knock, Knock.

Zeref opened the door and spotted a pair of blazing red eyes, clashing against another pair of blazing red eyes.

Without a second though Zeref pounced forward and swung his Kunai at Itachi who backed up and defended.

"Eh, Itachi who is his, he kinda looks like you. Same eyes too yeah? I thought you were the last of your clan?" The blue male next to Itachi said.

"Hn... Zeref"

"Itachi... you Weasel, I read a scroll on our clan and you. Let's just say I'm not happy with the results." Zeref started.

Itachi Narrowed his eyes.

"Hn..." he trailed off.

Naruto and Kisame were watching with silent curiosity.

"I. Want. The. Truth" Zeref growled.

"The truth is that I killed the clan to test my strength, there is nothing else to it." Itachi stated.

Angry at the response, Zeref pulled out his Katana and start to attack.

Naruto and Kisame started to fight into the background but neither Uchiha's payed attention.

Itachi, managed to pin Zeref to the wall, his Kunai still clashing against Zeref's Katana.

"Don't lie.." Zeref whispered his red eyes covered by his hair.

"It's the truth, why be in Denial?" Itachi asked.

"DON'T LIE TO ME!!" Zeref shouted. Zeref's Mangekyo Sharingan was spinning widly in anger.

With adrenaline pumping through his veins, he used Chakra to push Itachi off him with Strength he was unaware of.

"The Mangekyo?" Itachi whispered, his own Mangekyo coming to life.

"I Know Dammit!, I read the scrolls in that old Liars library! I know about the Coup, I know about Danzo, I know about you" Zeref said. He shouted at first but with each point he got quieter.

To everyone Itachi looked impassive.

He was actually worried, very worried. Itachi had the small worry in him that Zeref really had found out, and was unsure of what to do now.

"..." Itachi really couldn't say anything.

"I just want to hear it from you..." Zeref trailed off.

Itachi and Zeref stood in a stand off.

It was silent for a while and Itachi opened his mouth to speak.

"Zeref... I-"

"ITACHI!" All four Ninja looked down the hall and saw Sasuke panting and out of breath.

"I'll kill you!" He shouted.

Itachi had to hold back an eye roll.

Zeref growled, he gave a deep, frustrated growl, and if anyone was paying attention they would have noticed the small flames that were flickering at his feet.

"Another one? Are you sure your the last of your clan?" Kisame asked looking at the three Uchiha's.

"Sasuke!?" Naruto Shouted.

"Sasuke.." Itachi trailed off.

"Sasuke" Zeref growled out. He was so angry, Zeref was seconds away from hearing the truth, finally, and this revenge driven idiot had to intervene.

Sasuke powered up his Chidori and went to attack Itachi, however Itachi dodged, and crushed Sasuke's arm sending the attack into the wall.

Zeref was about to attack but Sasuke spoke.

"No! He's mine.. Stay out of this!" Sasuke shouted.

"Sasuke.." Zeref muttered, slowly getting angrier.

"Boys!" Acnologia shouted.

Both Acnologia and Jiraiya appeared, they were about to intervene.

"I said No!! He is mine to kill, Stay out of it!" Sasuke shouted.

Once again Sasuke lunged at Itachi. Itachi however kicked Sasuke away from him. The two fought..... well Itachi beat the ever living shit out of Sasuke.

Once Sasuke was no longer able to fight back, Itachi pinned him to the wall, and Put Sasuke under the Tsukoyomi.

Immediately after noticing this, Zeref swung his flame sword at Itachi who backed away just in time.

Moving at a speed, Zeref wasn't prepared for, Itachi pinned him to the wall also.

"I will assure you, everything will be explained..... but not today, forgive me" Itachi said.

"No... your not putting me in a Genjutsu" Zeref said looking anywhere but Itachi's eyes.

Almost like instinct, fire completely covered Zeref forcing Itachi to let go.

Once the flame was gone, Mangekyo clashed against Mangekyo, and by instinct Zeref shouted out a Jutsu he never knew at the same time as Itachi.

"Tsukoyomi!"

"Teishijikan!"

Time stopped.

Nobody moved, for Zeref everything was frozen. His right eye started to bleed and his vision slowly got blurry.

Zeref grabbed Sasuke and trudged over to the frozen Acnologia. Almost as soon as he got next to him, time moved again.

"What just..." Acnologia started.

"Happened?" Jiraiya finished.

Itachi was confused, but watched as Zeref succumbed to the affects of the Genjutsu and fell to the floor.

It all went black.

Zeref was sitting by the river with Shisui. They were both happy.

Zeref blinked and suddenly Shisui's body was on the ground, blood dripping out of his mouth, the empty holes where his eyes were and Zeref holding a Kunai that was stuck in his heart.

Zeref panicked and released the Kunai only for the body of Shusi to turn his head to look at him.

"You killed me" He said.

"No.. I mean, yes, but you asked me too.. I couldn't let you suffer!" Zeref defended.

"You killed me" another Shisui said from behined him.

"Stop it! Stop it!"

"You killed me" multiple dead Shisui's said, slowly surrounding Zeref.

Zeref, crumbled to the ground, and curled up into a ball, tears in his eyes.

"I know! I'm sorry! I'm Sorry!, Stop please!" He begged.

"You killed me"

"You killed me "

"You killed me "

"You killed me"

"Please! Stop it!" Zeref shouted, his voice cracked from his cries.

"You have 71hours 59 minutes left" Itachi's voice rung.

"No more! Not him, anyone but him" Zeref said covering his ears.

It went quiet, but when Zeref opened his eyes he was surrounded by blood and his brothers body.

"No, No! Mangekyo! KAI! KAI!!" Zeref shouted, his Mangekyo flaring to life, and his left eye bleeding.

Everything went black.

When he came too he saw the back of someone head, light blue hair, and a black cloak around him.

"Ahh, Zeref welcome back" Jiraya said.

Zeref's eyes darted back and forth, he got off Acnologia and looked around him, he even Summond Ryu, just to make sure.

"You ok?" Acnologia asked.

"No.... but I will be" Zeref responded, wiping his bloody eye.

Looking around the world seemed Slightly more blurry than what Zeref remembered.

He wiped his eyes, and blinked multiple times, but the fuzzy look to thing wouldn't leave.

"Guys, my eye sight had gone a bit bad" Zeref said.

"Yeah, didn't you know?" Acnologia said.

"Know what?" Zeref asked.

"When you use the Mangekyo Sharingan you slowly loose your eyesight. The only way to counter this is to implant the eyes of another Mangekyo user that you have a close bond too" Ryu explained.

Zeref's thoughts went back to the letter.

Find them Zeref

"So that's why he wanted me to find them" he mumbled.

"Oh, Sasuke has been taken back to the village and were gonna find this Tsunade woman to wake him up Beleive it!" Naruto explained.

'Tsuande?' Zeref thought.

"The last one of the Yonnin that I haven't met yet" Zeref said.

Jiraya and Acnologia looked at Zeref.

"You've met, Orochimaru?" Jiraya asked seriously.

Naruto looked back and forth between the Pervy sage and his friend in confusion.

Acnologia had an unreadable expression on his face.

"The bastard who bit me, yeah I've had the displeasure of meeting him" Zeref answered.

Jiraya looked to be in deep thought, while Naruto and Acnologia had a bland look on their faces.

After to getting to the next town they came upon a festival, one that Zeref had no interest in, Naruto however was practically bouncing off the walls, as the poor kid could barely contain his excitement.

"Oh! Oh! I came prepared for this... Tada!" Naruto exclaimed pulling out his froggy purse that was bloated from the amount of money stuffed into it.

Jiraya lookednat the purse in greed, and Acnologia just shook his head at his teammate.

"Impressive" Jiraya said.

"Yeah, oh what about you Zeref? Do you have any money?" Naruto asked.

"Hn" Zeref grunted, he pulled out a custom made Wallet that was also packed out. It was a black wallet, with the Uchiha symbol on one side and the Fairy tail Sign in red on the other.

Jiraya rubbed his hands in greed looking at all the money.

"Oh man, I'm gonna have so much fun believe it!" Naruto said.

Before he could run off however Jiraya took the purse from Naruto and handed him a small amount of it.

Zeref immediately put his wallet away.

"A ninja mustn't divulge them selves in the three sins. Women, Money and Alcohol" Jiraya said.

Naruto looked disappointed.

Jiraya then struck his hand out to Zeref.

"You aswell Gaki" Jiraya said.

Zeref glared at the man hard, his eyes flashed red, which was enough to make the man flinch, although it was obviously exaggerated.

"You can pry my hard earned money out of my cold dead hands" Zeref growled.

He then walked off leaving the slightly shocked Jiraya, a proud look in Acnologia's eyes and Naruto chasing after him.

Ryu was just on his shoulder enjoying the show.

After the pair played some games, and got some food they decided to go and look for their Sensei's, only to find Jiraya in a club surrounded by women and alcohol. To top it off Naruto's froggy purse was empty.

Acnologia however was at the bar asking for information.

"Pervy Sage what the hell!!! You tell me not to indulge myself, why don't you take your own advice!! And look and my frog, he's deflated beleive it!!" Naruto shouted.

Zeref was rubbing his eyes, and his temples at how idiotic the pair was.

Naruto in his anger, bumped into a tall, buff male, who then spilt his drink on his suit.

Zeref at this point walked outside wanting nothing to do with this anymore.

He could hear the commotion inside but watched the stars instead.

Ryu was sitting on his lap.

"I hate this" Zeref muttered.

"What?" Ryu asked.

"This feeling of anger and betrayal, I hate it. I want revenge on the village, I want to kill Danzo, and yet it doesn't feel right. I can't make up my mind and I hate uncertainty" Zeref explained.

Ryu kept quiet and let the boy rant.

"I won't decide anything until I have the truth, but I want to hear it from him" Zeref finished.

"So what's the problem?" Ryu asks.

"The problem is that I don't understand where the urge to get Revenge is coming from" he replied.

Ryu was about to respond but then the man from before came through the wall, and landed unconscious next to him.

After that the group marched on, soon coming upon a clearing in the forest.

"Ok, we will begin you training here" Jiraya said.

He then took Naruto and began teaching him.

"So what am I going to do?" Zeref asked.

Acnologia summoned A 2 dragons, that were different shades of red.

"You'll be training with them" he said.

"Meaning?" Zeref asked.

"It means you will train to become a dragon slayer" a Female voice interrupted.

Acnologia, Zeref and Ryu looked at the two dragons that were slightly taller than them.

"Sup, I'm Ryuji" the male one said. He was a dark maroon, with bright orange stripe going from his head to his tail.

"And I am Kai" The female one said, she was a Rich red, with dark orange particles here and there.

"And they will train you" Acnologia finished.

"Big sis, Kai!" Ryu shouted.

Kai gave a smile (if dragons even can).

"What about me?" Ryuji asked.

"What about you" Ryu responded. The older dragon sat and moped off to the side, grumbling about no respect.

"Ignorant fool, we do not have time to deal with your Stupidity" Kai said.

"What was that you hag! Just cus dad respects you doesn't mean I gotta!" Ryuji yelled, smoke flared from his nostrils.

"Father respects me, because I do not find it amusing to chase my own tail, but instead choose to educate the younger generation." Kai shot back.

"Hey! Chasing your own tail is fun as hell!!" Ryuji shouted back.

The two continued back and forth.

"If you two are going to argue then Should I leave?" Zeref asked.

"No" they both said.

"Fine we agree to disagree" Kai stated.

"Hm" Ryuji nodded.

"Imma head home. Cya guys!" Ryu said dissapearing.

"Let's begin, enter your meditative state, and search for your Chakra nature flowing through your veins" Kai instructed.

Zeref followed.

"Once you got that, then you gotta fuse your Chakra Nature and your main Chakra together so they both flow through you as one" Ryuji said.

"You'll know this has happened by the feeling that will flow through you, for example, if you have a fire Chakra nature your body will feel Naturally hotter." Kai explained.

Zeref sat eyes closed and managed to find, four of Chakra flowing through him.

Blue, red, white and purple.

Blue was his main Chakra that he used.

Red was his fire Nature that was why the string was so thick.

White was his wind Nature that's why it was somewhat thin.

Purple was his dark magic turned into Chakra, which is why there was so much of it.

He grabbed the red and blue strings before pushing them together.

The strings were slowly integrating with eachother before they shook violently and repelled against eachother.

The pain from this made Zeref snap his eyes open and take a deep breath, he was drenched in sweat, and when he looked over to Naruto he saw him frustrated about trying to pop a balloon.

"I repelled didn't it" Kai stated.

Zeref, who was taking huge gulps of air nodded his head.

"Dumbass, that ment you tried to force them together, you gotta let it happen more Naturally" He said.

"Indeed or it could very well kill you" Kai said.

Zeref nodded his head before trying again.

He would get this right, he wanted this more than anything to have a peice of home with him forever.______________________________________
