Delilah's POVWednesday

“Priscilla” i turn around facing her.

“hello byotch” she said looking at me in disgust

“how dare you to steal Jake?” said one of her friend

“I didn't, Priscilla broke up with her so if you excuse me” i said walking away but Priscilla grab my hair and slap me.

“i don't deserve to be talked like that!” she screamed in my ears. “now you will do your best to kneel and apologize to me” she smirked and push me down

“Kneel!” she keep saying that until she lost her patience. and she hit my face to the mirror. “Would Jake Wyler date someone with a face like that?” she whispered aggressively to my ears.

She push me down and her two friends held me tightly making me hopeless and glare at her. She pulls out a tray of egg and throw it one by one followed by the girls' laugh.She chokes me tightly “you dont deserve him.. you.. are... Nothing” she said and goes outside.

I wipe my tears away from my face interrupted by Trina walking in to the school bathroom.

“Lilah!” she pulls out a box of tissues and help me clean myself.

“what did they do to you?” she wipes the tissue and put my hair into a ponytail revealing a wound on the edge of my forehead “Oh my...” thats the only words i heard and start cleaning the wound and patch it up.

“stand up we're gonna be late”  she said in a serious tone and we go to our next class.

“You didn't tell me that you are dating Jake!” she yelled at me.

“I expected you already knew” i replied.

“you have 24 hours every day and you didn't have a gut to tell me?!”

“Trina chill we're just dating”

“you didn't think thats a big deal?”

“well i-”

“but you know that he's my crush since first day of highschool”

“im sorry”

“and you have the gut to say thats Jakes trash? Jake's bad? Jake's a dick? No no no maybe you're the one who's the dick” she yelled and walk away

After hearing those words... It hurts.. but i will tell her after the deal.. yeah after the i win the prom Jake will leave us alone.

Austin, Reggie starts to surround me and other tall students. I look at them with confusion in my eyes.

“uhh what are you doing?” i asked

“Wyler told us to protect you while he's not here” one of the boys answered.

“Speaking of Jakey Jake he's here” Austin said.

“Hello love” Jake said and wrap his arms around my waist walking to the girls' bathroom.

Jake entered the girls' bathroom without hesitation

“What are you doing here? You're not allowed here” i said hitting his arm.

“relax... I dont care. And besides its not as if I've never been here before” he replied with a grin

“disgusting!” i said and hits his arm. He throw a shirt on my face.

“Wear it and dont hit me anymore or I'll kiss you” he said

“fine fine stay there” i said and goes inside one of the bathroom stall and change to a sage green shirt.. not gonna lie its cute.

“alright im done” i said and get out from the bathroom stall. He looks at me up and down and gives me a slight smile.

“it fits perfectly to you” he said and hold my hand and got out from the bathroom with him.

As soon as we reach outside he remove his iconic jacket revealing the same shirt i wear. The people cheered and i cant help but to smile too.

“on Wednesday we wear sage green... and bookstore date” he said in a charming voice. “Excuse us ladies” he added while we walk pass Priscilla and her little squad.

I can hear Priscilla scoffs. He's... Charming but its the deal right? Yeah deal...

“Take care of that shirt it was my mom's and this what im wearing? It was my dad's. Its theirs when they're in high school” he said and hold my hand exiting the school and wow... He opened the car door for me and let me in.

“Where are we going?” i asked

“did you hear what i said? For your information i said we're going to a bookstore date” he replied “where do you find books? At the bar? Oh I didn't know” he teased me and drive to the bookstore
