★  MONDAY 10th JANUARY ★

AFTER TAKING THE GIRL TO THE OFFICE, me and Kav sat outside Mr. Twomeys office patiently waiting for this girls mam to arrive

Liam wanted to come with by our coach only told us to go

I didn't know why I was here, she only needed one person to take her but no I was dragged along as well

To make matters worse Majella isn't even here since she is out on maternity leave so the girl can't even get looked at

"I'm Johnny Kavanagh by the way" Kav introduced, then pointed to me

"That emotionless moody bastard is Kieran Hayes" He told her

See what Danny does to me, she makes me moody and I fucking hate it

"Shannon" The girl said with a soft voice, hands still rubbing circles at her temples

Keeping my voice gentle and calm in a hope not to scare the girl when I asked her "Your head still hurt?"

As if I had summoned her by sheer thought, the witch herself came waltzing down the corridor

Fucking Danny

Spinning around as she sang Sir Mix-a-Lot's 'Bark like you want it' it was hard not to look at her

"Fine, 5,9 and i'm jockin" Danny belted out, adding another dramatic twirl to her shit performance

"But the girl won't dance, and I pitch me a tent 'bout to wet my pants" Danny continued to sing, not even noticing us staring at her ( they were staring I was judging ) She's got a body fo' days, but the girl won't flaunt it, you better bark like you want it"

Now is really not the time Danny jaysus

"Here we fucking go" I grumbled, slumping further into my seat

I couldn't be asked with Danny today, I really couldn't

She had this horrible smarmy attitude, always walking around like she was better than everyone

"Bark like you- Johnny?" She called out, finally acknowledging our presence. Her eyes lingered on the small brunette sitting beside me

"Fuck sakes" I groaned, wishing that she hadn't noticed us at all

Holding out a finger whiles she takes out her headphones. And once again her eyes landed on Shannon, as if trying to place where she knew her from

Then like a light bulb went off, recognition flickered in her expression "Shannon?"

Then another light bulb went off and she turned to me, narrowing her eyes and furrowing her eyebrows

"What did you do?" Danny accused, folding her arms

Rolling my eyes at her accusation "I didn't do shit, look at Cap"

Sorry Cap but I can't deal with Danny today

Swinging her head to glare at Johnny who already looked stressed as is "I accidentally hit her with my ball"

She frowned in disbelief "Johnny Kavanagh, the irish legend accidentally hit someone with their ball?"

"Uh yeah" He mumbled, looking back at Shannon who is sitting there silently. Avoiding Danny's gaze like a a kid getting scolded

Clearly not satisfied with Johnny, she harshly smacked him on the shoulder

"Fuck sakes Johnny" Danny cursed, eyes flickering to the other brunette "Look at the poor girl"

Finally snapping out of her silence, Shannon tilted her head up to survey Danny "Who are you? You look familiar"

"I'm Danielle but everyone calls me Danny, i'm best friends with Joey" She paused, considering her words "Well I mean, i'm best friends with Joey I don't think i'm his. He says he doesn't like me, but I know deep down he does"

Pathetic much?

"Your Danny?" Shannon spluttered, finally remembering who Danny was "Joey talks about you a lot"

I was still super confused with the dynamic of Joey and Danny, I didn't even know the two knew eachother before saturday. He can't be a boyfriend because Danny definitely would flaunt it in my face, saying i'm too much of a pussy for a girlfriend. So Joey is a friend? Friends with benefits?

Shit why the fuck do I care

A triumphant, happy smile pulled at her lips "Aww I knew he loved me really"

As if stuck in the moment, eyes trained on the floor clearly reminiscing

Scoffing and exaggeratingly rolling my eyes "You sound desperate for a friend Danny"

I couldn't help it, I had to ruin her moment. It was her fault really, she made it way to easy for me

Not missing a beat, her sharp eyes glared daggers at me "Shut up i'm having a moment"

"Yeah a pathetic mo-" I shot back only to be cut off by Kav

"So Danny why are you out of lesson anyways?" He asked, trying to de-escalate our bickering

Sending me one last sharp look, she turned to talk to Kav "Got sent out"

Taking a mental guess, I assumed it was to do with her skirt

"Skirt?" Kav guessed

Bingo

Danny is always in trouble for something, whether it be for her skirt, not paying attention or talking or sometimes drawing on herself when she was bored which she did a lot by the way

"Bloody perverts always looking at my knees" She complained

"Shannon?!" Another voice called from the other side of the corridor

A small blonde came fast walking down the hall and pulled Shannon into a feirce hug. The girl didn't even seem to notice us, tunnel vision focused on Shannon who was smiling despite her current condition

"What? How? What are you doing here Shan" The blonde girl spluttered, holding her friends face in her hands

However my eyes land on Kav, the lad who looks completely enthralled by her presence, like he is seeing a real life angel

Interesting...

"I erm transferred and wanted it to be a suprise for you" Shannon explained, now holding tight to the other girls hands

Without warning the blonde wrapped her arms around Shannon, holding her like she was scared she would disappear. However Shannon painfully winced as she hugged her tighter

Finally pulling away, sensing her friend's discomfort "What happened to you, you've got a bump on your head Shan"

A protective flip switched in her brain as she surveyed Shannons appearance: bleary eyes, Liam's muddy jersey that was currently swallowing her whole, the bump on the side of her head

She swung her head to glare at me but her determination faltered when she took me in

Like she was frozen, her eyes lingered on the tattoos, the hair. I felt a bit uncomfortable under her gaze, like I was being stared at from under a microscope

Her doey dark brown eyes continued to stare through my soul, she looked almost scared which completely threw me because I wasn't scary

Was I...?

My eyes went to Johnny who looked equally confused and before I could think twice my gaze met Danny's

I don't know why I looked to her but I did and I couldn't do anything about it now

'What the fuck is going on?' I seemed to ask her

Understanding me, Danny shrugged as if to say 'I don't fucking know'

Finally the blonde's eyes moved away from mine and focused on Johnnys

Like the was in their own little world, the two just stared at eachother. They didn't say anything, they didn't move just continued to look equally as  captivated by one another

My eyes seemed to find Danny's again 'Are you seeing this?' I mentally asked

"This is a fucking meet cute" Danny mouthed to me

I screwed up my face "Weirdo" I mouthed back, smirking as she stuck her tounge out at me

"Did you do this?" The blonde accused Johnny

Snapped out of his trance, Kav shook his head "No, well I mean yeah but it was an accident. I accidentally hit her with my rugby ball"

She looked to Shannon, checking if he really was telling the truth. Shannon nodded in agreement and the other girl instantly calmed down

"Sorry, i'm Darla" She apologised "Darla Burke"

"No need for apologies and i'm Johnny, Johnny Kavanagh" He introduced, repeating her introduction

Shattering their private moment, Danny started to talk "While we're doing introductions, i'm Danielle but everyone calls me Danny"

She then pointed to me, giving me a dirty look as if it disgusted her to even look at me "That's Keiran, but everyone calls him useless prick"

"Haha real cute bitch" I retorted, levelling her stare

"Ugh go away Kieran i'm having a private conversation here" She waved her hand around as if she was some entitled queen dismissing a servant

I swear to fucking god sometimes I really wanted to shove her off a bridge

Staring at her hand, I debated whether I should snatch it or hit it

Danny clearly didn't really care as she continued to ignore me, she turned to Darla "I'm friends with Joey, i'm assuming you know who that is"

Again why does everyone know this Joey fella?

Darla just stared at Danny, like she did with me. Nervously tucking a peice of almost platinum blonde hair behind her ear to drag her back to the present "I do, we all went to BCS together so err yeah"

This girl was bundle of nerves, she seemed so cautious and wary of everyone. Especially me and Danny, god what did we do

You could tell that she didn't understand us when we bickered like she didn't expect it or expected something else

"Oh right yeah I think he actually mentioned you a few times" Danny responded "Anyways i'm adopting you too"

Jaysus Danny have some tact

The two friends both looked at eachother, taken aback but Danny's forwardness. They looked extremely cautious like they didn't trust what Danny was saying

But they could trust Danny because no matter how much I hate Danny I can admit she is an extremely trustworthy person. If she says something she will stick by it

She did the same with Liam, when he was getting picked on by the boys in his year Danny casually took him under her wing and gave him a friend. She protected him from them like it was no big deal. Danny promised that they wouldn't hurt him again and so far that promise has been followed through

"I know what your thinking, who is this physco girl who is claiming to adopt us. Well i'm your protector now, anyone gives you shit you come to me" She swore, as if sensing their cautiousness she continued "It's not like BCS here don't worry, you lot will be safe here i'll personally make sure of it"

Darla and Shannon both sent her a polite smile and a nod of agreement despite still looking a bit unsure

Well it looks like Liam is going to be getting new siblings
