Chapter 5 - School

Baekhyun POV

I was sleeping soundly when my mother shouted. "Baekhyun! Wake up now!" I groaned. I don't want to wake up yet. It's my first night at my new house. I swear it was damn huge, probably 1000000 times of my stupid house with my abusive father. Oh and I had a bed which was crazy comfortable. Probably cost alot.

"Baek? Time to wake up. Chanyeol is downstairs to go to school with you." My mother said as she knocked on my door.

Seems like I have no choice but to wake up. "Yes mom." I said and got off my bed to get ready.

After washing up, I saw the school uniform on my bed. Did I mention that I had many maids? It's so cool! Now I don't have to do everything myself.

I stared at the uniform. It looked brand new unlike my old ones, always dirty and were second handed. It was the exact same uniform as my old life. This brings back many horrible memories in my school. Tears welled up in my eyes as the memories played in my head. I was scared. Will I be bullied? Do I have friends?

I shook my head and dried my tears. Don't worry too much, it will be fine right? I comforted myself. I quickly changed into the uniform and went downstairs.

"Oh Baek! Have some breakfast before you go." My mother said and I saw Chanyeol at the dining table already eating. I nodded and went over to sit down.

"Good morning Baek!" Chanyeol greeted me in his usual cheerful voice. I smiled and greeted him back. I am really lucky to have such a great best friend. But I have to leave him in less than 100 days.

Stop thinking about that Baekhyun. You still have many days left here. I said to myself, unaware that I had said it out loud.

"Huh? What are you talking about Baek?" Chanyeol asked confused.

"Huh? Oh ur... Just... Worried about school." I came up with something which I swear is the lamest excuse.

"Worried about school?" Chanyeol blinked.

"Ur... Yeah." I chuckled awkwardly.

"Why? I mean, you are so friendly to everyone. Basically , everyone you know is your friends. Well, you liked making friends." Chanyeol explained.

Oh, I forgot that I was supposed to be someone sociable. "Oh ya. Haha don't mind me. Let's just continue eating." I laughed, rubbing the back of my neck.

Once we reached the school, I saw a group of boys rushing towards us. Wait what is going on? The next thing I knew, there was someone hugging me.

I frozed and just blinked. Who are these people? My friends? If they were my friends then I am completely shocked. I mean, there was probably 10 or more of them, I guess and I never had any friends. Not even one.

"C-chanyeol?" I called his name, hoping for some help. I mean, that unknown person is still hugging me.

"Ur... Chen, I think that's enough." Chanyeol said and that guy released me.

"Hehe, I'm sorry. I was just overjoyed seeing you." That guy rubbed he back of his neck.

"Oh, that's fine." I smiled. I don't know what to do with my new friends. After all, I was a loner. It feels weird to have people caring for you since nobody actually cared and loved me.

"Ur... I knida lost my memory so... I have no idea who you guys are..." My voice trailed off as I said, hoping that I wouldn't offend anyone.

"That's fine Baekhyun. Come on, let's go to the canteen and sit down before we talk." One guy in the group said. Everyone nodded and walked to the canteen while I just followed behind nervously. You can do it Baekhyun. I tried to comfort myself.

Crappy chapter here. Sorry, I just ran out of ideas. I am having a writer's block urgh. But thanks for reading tho! And I realized I don't actually upadate that frequently. Sorry but thanks for waiting patiently!
