Chapter Thirteen - Not Planned But Still Welcomed

23:10, 30 January 2015

-SILLE'S POV-

It's two o'clock and Grayn and I are in the mall. He took me shopping with him since he needed some new shirts. I think it's funny that he takes his soon-to-be seventeen year old girlfriend with him shopping, when he self is almost nineteen. Like he still hasn't figured out what his style is. So cute.

We will be going to the doctor at three. I have been feeling ill for about three and a half week now. I don't know what's wrong, I've been having headaches all the time, a lot of nauseous and stomach cramps too.

Maybe I just have a food poisoning. Let's hope for that.

"Hey, babe? Are you still there?" He asks.

"Yeah, sorry, I zoned out. I was thinking about the doctors appointment. Do you think something serious is going on?" I frown while asking.

"Everything is gonna be fine, don't worry. I'll be there with you," he says. He kisses my temple. Even that simple loving touch wants to make me jump in his strong muscled arms.

"I love you, Grayn," I say, sighing. Suddenly I feel really tired.

"And I love you," he says.

"Let's go get some drinks at Starbucks," he says.

I nod and grab his hands. He intertwines his fingers with mine and rubs with his thumb over my knuckles.

We walk to Starbucks and Grayn tells some stupid joke. I don't know why but I find it really funny and throw my head back in laughter.

We get inside and order an ice tea. We sit down at a table and take a sip of our drinks. They taste really good and we just talk about nonsense. Grayn shows me the shirts he bought again and they are cool.

Soon, it's around two thirty and we need to leave for my appointment.

We walk to Grayn's car and he opens the door for me. Like a gentleman, my gentleman.

He gets inside too and starts driving. We reach the hospital pretty quick. He parks the car and we leave the car.

We walk into the hospital and go to the counter.

"Hello, my name is Sille, I had an appointment with dr. Aurelius at three," I say to the lady behind the counter.

"I see. You can sit down in the waiting room and wait for your name to be called," she says, smiling politely. I return a smile.

We walk into the waiting room and there are two older people sitting there. One grandpa, you would say, and a I would say forty year old women.

We say hi and take place.

The lady is filling in some papers and the man is scratching his neck.

The sounds really annoy me and it just seems to get louder. When I feel like I can't take anymore, my name is called and I have to go to room four.

Grayn and I stand up and he takes my hand again. We say goodbye to the irritating people and walk out of the waiting room, to room four, which is down the hall.

"What's wrong, baby?" He asks, concern and worry in his deep voice. A voice that God knows can turn me on. Geez, Sille, stop thinking about that again.

"Nothing, I was just really, really annoyed by those people and the sounds they made," I say.

"Okay," he says, relieved.

We walk into room four and see a doctor with glasses on sitting on his chair. He stands up and shakes my hand.

"Hello, I'm Beetee Latier, just call me Beetee. Where can I help you with?" He kindly says.

"My name is Sille," I say. I tell him what has happened the past weeks and he nods.

"I hate to ask you this, but I have to. Have you had sex lately?" He asks.

"Yes. The last time was around four weeks ago," I say, frowning. Please not.

"And did you use protection?" He asks.

"I'm on the pill, but I have been forgetting it sometimes," I answer honestly. Shit.

"Okay, let's see. We'll try an ultrasound. Please lay down here," he says, gesturing to the chair in front of us. I take place on it.

Grayn stands next to me, still holding my hand tightly.

Beetee puts some gel on my stomach and goes over it with a little thingy.

"Hmm... Like I thought," he says. "Sille, you're almost a month pregnant."

"WHAT?!" I yell.

"You're gonna be a mommy!" He says.

I look at Grayn next to me and his face is almost to laugh at. His jaw fell down and his ocean blue eyes are filled with shock.

"Am- am I going to be a daddy?" He asks, disbelief in his voice.

"Yes, you are! Congratulations!" Beetee says, grinning.

"Honey, we are gonna be parents! We are gonna have a little baby!" Grayn squeals, squeezing my hand.

"Yes we are! Oh my God! I can't believe this! Are you happy?" I frown at the last sentence.

"Of course I am! I'm gonna be a daddy! I feel like I could explode out of happiness right now!" He says. He takes my face in his hands and presses a quick, but filled with love kiss on my lips.

I wipe the gel off of my stomach and pull my shirt down. Then, I stand up and throw my arms around Grayn's neck. He is smiling like crazy. His arms wrap around my waist and I hug him tightly.

I'm going to be a mommy. Finally a dash of happiness and overwhelming love hits me. My baby. Grayn's baby. Our baby. And I'm carrying it.

"Let's see, we have to set a next appointment to check on the baby. Is it possible next month on four o'clock?" Beetee asks, after we broke away.

"Yeah, that's fine. Can I have a folder with some food that is good for the baby?" I ask.

"Here you go," Beetee says, handing me a little folder.

"Thank you! I'll see you next month, and thank you again!" I say, grinning from my toes up.

We walk out of the hospital and get inside his car. He drives and tells me how happy he is and I tell him how happy I am. But we don't follow the usual way.

"Grayn, where are we going?" I ask.

"To a very special place I want to show you," he says.

"Okay," I say.

We reach the little woods and walk along the path. After a while of talking we reach a pretty lake. There is a bench placed by it and we sit down on it. I place my head on his shoulder and his arm wraps around my waist.

"It's so pretty here. I'm glad you showed us," I say, smiling at my last word.

He places a hand on my stomach and I know he is smiling like crazy again.I can't believe he's gonna be a daddy.

"I'm so happy, I can't tell you in words how happy I am," he says, rubbing my belly.

"You're gonna be an amazing daddy, I know that already," I say. I turn to look at him and yes indeed, he's smiling. I kiss his cheek and his smile gets even bigger.

"And you're gonna be the best mommy in the whole world. I know that already," he tells me.

Then, he gets up and goes on one knee in front of me. What?

"My sweetest Sille, I love you so much, it hurts. When you're not close to me, I miss you. I want you to be with me all the time, anytime. Will you do the extraordinary honour of marrying me?" He asks, opening a small box that reveals a silver ring with a small diamond in it. I can't believe this. And a baby, and a husband?

"Yes, Grayn! Yes, yes, yes, YES! I love you so much!" I scream, tears flowing down my cheeks.

He smiles and puts the ring on my ring finger. It fits perfectly. Of course.

I stand up and so does he. I basically lock him in my arms, not ever wanting to let go. His hands end up on my waist, but one hand places itself on my stomach. On our baby.

What a perfect day.
