"HOW ARE YOU ENJOYING TODAY SO FAR?"ย Sugawara asked the girl.

She nodded. "I like it."

"I'm glad you did!" Hinata exclaimed before being slapped by Kageyama at the back of his head.

"We're all glad, F/n," Asahi said, giving her a faint smile.

It was a bright and sunny day outside and the team decided to let the girl walk around the place a bit.

She had told them that she was previously in Musutafu, Shizuoka Prefecture and not in Miyagi Prefecture. It was odd since Musutfu doesn't exist in their world so they were slightly confused.

"Alright," Daichi said, "We're going to that store while you guys stay here, got it?"

"Don't worry! We'll protect you, Kiyoko-san!" Tanaka and Nishinoya simultaneously declared.

"I don't need your protection," she said, stopping them from circling her with her handbag.

"Tanaka! Nishinoya!" Daichi called in his commanding voice.

The third and second-year students went and followed their captain into the shop whilst the first-years and managers stayed behind with F/n.

"Oi! Kageyama! Look there!" Hinata exclaimed before grabbing the taller boy by the arm and dragging him towards the gaming store.

"Boke! Hinata! Let go!" Kageyama complained.

"O-Oi! Hinata! Daichi-san said to stay here!" Yamaguchi said, "Tsukki, let's go after them."

Tsukishima clicked his tongue before following his green-haired friend, walking, unlike Yamaguchi who was frantically running after the two other first-years.

"Shouldn't we go after them?" Yachi nervously asked.

Kiyoko sighed. "No, let's just leave them be."

F/n looked around the stores on the first floor before spotting a nearby food court. She tugged Kiyoko's long-sleeved shirt to get her attention.

"Kiyoko-san," she said, "Can we go there? I'm hungry."

She nodded with a smile. "Of course. Hitoka-chan, want to come with?"

"Y-Yes!"

Both Kiyoko and Yachi had grown a close relationship with F/n, Yachi having to relate to her for the lack of confidence with new people and Kiyoko being there to help her from the two crazy second-years.

The three girls went towards a pastry shop where they each bought their desired pastry. They conversed as they walked towards a table in the corner.

The tables surrounding them were empty and it was quieter than the ones near the food stalls.

"So Yacchan's going to be the next manager when you graduate?" F/n asked.

"Yes," Kiyoko confirmed.

"W-Wait! But- But- Why not just F/n-chan?" Yachi frantically waved her hands.

"Huh? I'm not even supposed to be here," said the ash-blonde-haired girl.

"What do you mean, F/n-chan?" Yachi asked curiously.

"Well-" she started but froze as soon as she felt a hand landing on her shoulder. She turned her head to face a man in his late twenties. Behind him were his two other friends who looked around his age as well.

The man in front of her hummed. "Well, well, well," he sang, "Look what we have here."

Kiyoko got up from her chair and pulled F/n by her forearm, causing her to stumble behind her and beside Yachi who was shivering in both fear and disgust.

"Stand back," the eldest whispered to the two other girls.

"Wow, calm down, lady," he said, "We just want to talk, you see?"

The three let out laughs in confidence whilst the other three held their guards up.

"What?" he snapped as he was starting to lose patience, "Don't believe us? Let's show you then."

He placed his hand on Kiyoko's waist and gripped hard, making her tense up under his touch.

Just then, he felt a strong force that forced him to let go of the girl's frail body. He hissed in fury and both Kiyoko and Yachi took a couple of steps back.

"Don't," F/n said, "touch her."

She narrowed her eyes at him.

"Feisty I see," he snarled.

The girl glanced back at her other two friends before mumbling to them to call the others.

"Are you sure, F/n-chan?" Yachi said worriedly while Kiyoko looked at her hesitantly.

"I'm sure," she said, "Besides, it's good to train."

The two other girls shared worried glances before nodding and rushing away from the food court.

"Hey!" the second man yelled.

"Dude, they got away," the third man muttered.

"Shut up, idiots," the supposed leader spat before looking back at F/n, "Why don't you run along with your other friends, hm? Are you willing to come with us?"

"No," she said, glaring at him with her red-coloured eyes.

"Hm? What is this? Playing hard to get?" he queried, "Boys, get her."

The two other men immediately grabbed her arms and put them behind her, refraining her to move freely.

"Hey!" they heard a voice call, "Let her go!"

The three men turned to look at two tall boys walking towards them, one with chocolate brown hair while the other with spiky black hair.

With the distraction, F/n kicked up with the help of the two men's holds and kicked one on the head.

He screamed in pain and let go of F/n while she quickly faced the other man and kicked him in the abdomen.

With much force, he flew across the place and onto the table that was three tables away from theirs.

"You b-!" The man screamed in pain as the girl roundhouse kicked him.

She let out a short breath. "Go," she said, in a dark voice.

The three men scrambled on their feet and ran away with their tails between their legs.

F/n looked at them as they ran, recalling what she had done. She let out another breath, this time shaky and dropped her arms beside her.

Forgotten, the two high school boys looked at her in disbelief after watching the scene silently.

One snapped back to their stance quickly. "Are you okay?"

That made F/n flinch and look at the two. The two boys who towered her whole seemed worried for her well-being but she knew that she could not let her guard down.

"Get away!" she screamed, her voice being drowned by the series of men, women and children's voices, enjoying their time as a family, friend or lovers without taking note of the previous incident.

"Wa-"

"F/n-chan!"

Multiple male voices loudly shouted her name and they saw the whole volleyball team rushing towards them with Kiyoko and Yachi leading the way.

"What happened?"

"Are you okay?"

"What's going on?"

"Are you hurt?"

"Do you need any help?"

A string of questions was shoved towards her and she waved her hands slightly.

"I'm alright," she said, "the three men went away."

Sugawara sighed in relief. Well, practically the whole team did.

"Oh?" Tanaka raised an eyebrow as he stared at the two boys he had oh so recognized.

"Yahoo! Tobio-chan," the brown-haired boy waved, gaining an annoyed look from his former team member.

Hinata gasped loudly. "It's the Great King!"

Hearing the nickname given, the boys and girls all looked at the two males who were standing on the side of their vision.

F/n watched as the chocolate-haired boy hummed with a mischievous smirk stretching upon his pink-tinted lips.

"What's this?" he hummed, "The Wingless Crows can't even watch their own girlfriend?"

'Wingless Crows?' F/n thought, 'Another volleyball team?' The boys growled, narrowing their eyes at the smirking teen.

"F/n-chan, were they the ones that hurt you?" Hinata asked. All the eyes were now stuck on the ash-blonde girl whose body was twitching under the eyes of the tall volleyball players.

"No..." she uttered.

"Oh..."

The brown-haired male walked towards the girl whose gaze was stuck on the ground. "F/n-chan," he sang, "Why don't you come with us instead, hm?"

"No, thank you," she said politely.

"What?" he pouted, "Why not?"

"She doesn't want to be with you. Deal with it," Nishinoya said.

"Ohoho," the taller male let out, "Are you... possibly, jealous?"

"No one's jealous of you, you little-"

"Tanaka. Nishinoya," Daichi warned.

"Better listen to your captain, crows," he laughed.

"Oi!" the black-haired male slapped the back of his friend's head, "Leave them alone. Let's go."

"Ow! That hurt, Iwa-chan!" he whined but only gained another slap before being dragged out of the place.

An awkward silence filled the air. No one knew what to do or say but to watch the Seijo captain being pulled away by the vice-captain.

"Well, that sure was something."

Looking up at the sky, a full moon was all he saw. He sighed, not knowing what to do to make him fall asleep.

'What did you do to me, F/n?' he wondered, 'Why do I feel this way? What's happening to me? Am I sick?'

He recalled the times when his heart would furiously pound in his chest whenever the girl was near him, smiling with no care in the world.

Just thinking about it made him feel sick and worried for the girl after Aizawa mentioned her disappearance to the class.

It wasn't like the teacher wanted to do so, in fact, he thought it was better if he didn't tell them about it, making excuses that the girl needs to be hospitalized.

But he knew that his students wouldn't buy it.

Her friends- No. The whole class was worried for her. She had gone through so much and this was how it ended. It can't be possible, can it?

The railing of the balcony froze as he gripped it. Letting out another sigh, he walked back into his room and laid on the bed deep in thought, not forgetting to close the glass door that reflected the moonlight.

Not so far away from him was another high school boy that was apparently in his class. His mind was filled with thoughts that made him lose the ability to sleep.

The shouts from his mother lessened and family dinners quietened. His father was quieter than ever and the room was left untouched.

The old him would've loved the way the house was currently but that wasn't the case. They were being this way because of an absence in the family of four.

He hoped. That was all he could do. Hoping that one day she would come back. Hoping that this was all just a terrible nightmare. Hoping that the household would be back to normal.

He was patient. He sure was. But it all felt like a thousand years had passed.
