Chapter 12:design Flaw

Third Person pov

Y/n was strapped to a table with his eyes wide open but like it was empty ophis knew very well that there was a flaw to her spell but didn't know what it was

"ophis, how do we fix this?" kuroka asked sitting on a chair

"hmmm" ophis said thinking "i think there's nothing i can do to fix this"

"huh Why?" kuroka asked

"his core is under my control but for some reason he is able to counteract my commands" ophis said

"hmm" kuroka pondered "maybe if we break the core completely and make a new one?" kuroka asked

"hmm, its possible but there are way to many failures that may happen like we might not able to control him properly or give commands and there's also a possibility he might die if the core we give him is to underwhelming" ophis said

"i see, then we just gotta strengthen our hold on him then. after all his power is too much for any of us to handle" kuroka said

"yes your right" ophis said then created more spells to control y/n

Somewhere in kuoh rias and the others are preparing to attack a base that they think where y/n is held at.

"how can we be sure that place is real and not a trap?" kiba said

"yeah i have to agree with kiba" xenovia said

"well honestly i don't know but my maid grayfia will be coming with us for escort" rias said

"well atleast we have the ultimate queen then" akeno said then stood up from the sofa and held her fist "lets go save y/n"

They then teleported to a forest where grayfia was waiting for them

"rias-sama, welcome" grayfia said

"thank you, have you seen the castle?"rias asked

" i have and sure enough it is swarming with people"grafia said

"Allright lets go then" rias said then they started walking to where the castle was.

Once they reached the outskirts of the castle suddenly a beam of destruction magic comes hurling down to them, but grayfia acted fast and deployed a barrier which was cracking by the sheer power of the destruction beam.

"where did that come from?!" rias shouted asking for anyone who saw where it came

"it came from there" grayfia said and pointed to the northern wall of the castle where a man was standing but barely  seen.

"who is that?" rias asked grayfia

"your servant" grayfia sais

"y/n?" rias said then everyone's eyes lit up in happiness finding where he was

"wait i thought you sais there's alot of people here grayfia-sama" akeno said

"well yes" grayfia said then noticed it "what! Those people i saw where they fakes?"

"i belive so, y/n must've used illusion magic" akeno said

"no that's impossible y/n couldn't use any other type of magic instead of his own" rias said

"its not y/n kun" koneko said

"then who is it koneko chan?" rias asked

"its probably her" koneko said then looked sad and angry

"i see, well y/n is there lets go grab him then" rias said "akeno!"

"got it!" akeno said then flew to the sky "please come back to us, y/n! Akeno said  to herself then prepared a huge lighting bolt

"akeno is ready, grayfia your turn"rias said

Grayfia then walked forward and tapped the ground beneath her and suddenly a huge spellcirlce covering the entirety of the castle and where rias's group was and then a huge barrier appeared trapping y/n in and rias's peerage as well

"allright everyone you'll act as vanguard and support especially you two issei and asia" rias said

"we understand!" asia and issei said then nodded to each other

Akeno then dropped the huge lightning bolt at y/n which y/n defends by releasing destruction winds which pushed back her lightning, meanwhile on the ground kiba summoned his balance breaker and xenovia summoned durandal and ran towards y/n but y/n noticed this so he tapped his left foot and suddenly a wave of wind comes for kiba and xenovia, the two knights used their weapons to defend once the wind hits their blades but they where sent flying

"ackk, its impossible to defend against that" xenovia said then took her stance once more "koneko! Throw me to him!"

Koneko went to xenovia and grabbed her then threw her to y/n, akeno saw this and created multiple bolt and launched them at y/n which y/n didn't saw and hit him straight on which caused y/n to feel shock and fall to his knee, once xenovia landed she tackled y/n to the ground and kept him down

"i got him!" xenovia shouted

"keep him down!" rias shouted and ran towards them

But once rias got close enough, suddenly a huge wind burst sent xenovia flying then y/n stood up and readied an attack to counter rias but before he was able to kiba appeared behind him and punched him but y/n dodged it, y/n then jumped back and held out his right hand and suddenly black winds with extremely potent energy started to form a sword at y/n right hand

"what the?!" kiba pondered what y/n was doing

Kiba was then taken by surprise when y/n suddenly ran towards him at full speed and almost got hit by y/n first slash, kiba then went to counter a piercing attack which y/n parried he then slid down and knocked kiba unto the floor then prepared to stab him but was stopped by a rias destruction orb y/n then turned around and rias finally saw

"your..." rias couldn't say anything "not y/n"

"what do you mean?" akeno asked

"this is just a puppet!" rias said "its not the real him!"

"what!?" everyone was shocked even grayfia

The puppet then looked at rias with his eyes which looked like there was no life, then the puppet proceeded to launch an attack at rias but xenovia blocked it and ran towards him and sliced down ward which the puppet tried to defend against but his blade failed and he was cut in half and released sand from his cut body

Everyone then gathered around the puppet

"how was this possible?" akeno asked rias

"honestly i do not know, but when i saw y/n's i mean this puppets eyes i knew it wasn't him" rias said

"how?" akeno said

"his eyes was like there wasn't nobody there like it was already dead" rias said "but i do not understand how this puppet managed to attack us with y/n destruction magic"

"i think i know" grayfia said

"what is it?" rias said

"well when this puppet fired its first shot at us i could feel the shockwave of the attack, but i could determine that it was not y/n's magic because when y/n uses his destruction beam there is no vibration released from it and so no shockwave" grayfia said

"how can you be sure?" rias asked

"well when he used that same attack to decimate riser" grayfia said

"i see that makes sense i guess, buy why didn't you tell me?" rias asked

"well i wasn't sure yet" grayfia said

"hmm, i see well please tell brother to resume the search" rias said then grayfia left

The entire peerage then left and returned to kuoh================================
