(listen before I go by Billie eilish)

the yule ball was coming up and I've gone with Draco every year but he was still ignoring me ever since I missed his quidditch match, if I still wanted to go with him, I had to fix things before he found somebody else, which is going to be difficult considering the balls in 2 weeks and I was having no luck everything I came up with was either too cheesy or too dangerous. So, I decided to get a second opinion on it.

"come on dan you're a boy, you can think of at least one thing I can do to get back on Draco's good side." I'm begging at this point

"I've really got nothing Blaise, I'm sorry"

"thanks for your help" that sarcasm reminds me of Draco, and he's also the reason I've gone round to everyone asking for help, and I've still got nothing. Maybe this was bound to happen, us to never friends again, we weren't going to have a future together, how could I even think was a possibility, I need a clear headspace and some air.

The view from the observation tower is incredible, you can see basically the whole of Hogwarts and the sky looks beautiful with stars brighter than any candle imaginable.

my legs dangle over the edge as the wind dances through my hair. I hear footsteps but not just any footsteps, I would recognize who's they are from a mile away, he is my best friend after all. Draco sits next to me and for a minute it was silent, it was peaceful. He puts his arm around me and I lay on his chest as he plays with my hair, just like I did to him when he was crying, it was almost we were like kids again. He makes me feel safe, like he would protect me against anything even if his life was at risk , I close my eyes and doze off as he hums a tune to himself.
