Chapter:6 Phone call

I sat on the couch in the lounge room, staring at my phone that sat on the coffee table. I lightly but my nails, I slowly reach it.

"What! Are you doing?" Mia says as she laughs at my actions."You scared me." I said laughing."Sorry Dab, what where you doing?" She asked curious."I." "There's someone who you wanna talk to, but have no idea what to say?" She asked."Yeah, that was close." I reply."Who is it?" She asked."Nathan." " Nathan Harper?" She asked."Yep." "Isn't he your best friend?" She questioned." Yeah, I haven't talked to him since I left." "Call him." She said passing me my phone."Ok." I say smiling faintly.

I get up, as I was about to leave the room, Mia says one more thing.

"Live your outfit its cute." She says, I look down at my white dress and green navy jacket." Thanks." I reply with a smile.

I leave the room and go onto Nathan's contact, I stare at his profile pic.

I smile of the memory of that day, the day was slightly warm with a breeze. In the middle of Autumn that was rare back home. A tear threatened to leave my eye, but I didn't let it run. I press the call button and place the phone on my ear.

"Come on, come on." I mutter to myself."Dabria?" I smile at his voice."Hey Nathan." "Oh my god, I've missed your voice. Actually I miss seeing you." He replies"Yeah same." "You ok?" He asked and I can hear the concern in his voice."I'm fine, I'm just happy to hear your voice." "Ditto." "What you up to?" I asked."Nothing much, been bored. I've found a photo of us at my birthday dinner." He says."Really? Cool." "Yeah, it was good seeing your smile." I blush."Stop, what else have you been up to?" I ask him."I'm soon going to look at a new Harley Davidson." He says."Oh god no!" I say being protective."What?" He laughs."No, your not getting a bike cause I know your going to kill yourself." I say jokingly."Oh thanks for reassurance, there Dab." He says and I know he is joking as well."No problem." "Sorry Dab, I need to go." He says and my smile turned into a frown."Ok, love you." I say into the phone."Love you too, bye." He says waiting for me to say bye."Bye." I whispered and hung up.

I put my phone in my jacket Pocket.

"Dab, can you grab Jack?" Brian yells."Yep!" I run into his room and grab the little man."Hey you." I say and walk with him and give him to Brian."Thanks, you ready to go?" He asks."Hang on I Forgot something." "Ok hurry."

I did I ran into my room and grabbed my wallet, I then realised there was a package on my bed. I picked it up and I knew who it was from Nathan, I opened the box and there was a necklace.

I take the necklace and put it on, I send a photo of me wearing it to Nathan with the caption Thankyou I love it. He soon replies I'm glad ;). I also grab my bag that I always carry a new lot of clothes and girly things I need, I walk downstairs and see Dom.
