Chapter Twenty

       The next day everyone walked into school together. Things were back to normal. Maya and Lucas were holding hands. Farkle, Zay, and Smackle walked in and Riley was with Maya and Lucas. Riley smiled at Zay and Smackle. The group figured something was going on.       "What? Whats that smile Rile?" Farkle said. Riley laughed because no one had ever called her Rile. "What?" she said. Everyone looke and Zay and Smackle and then Riley. "Oh Smackle and Zay are dating." Maya said. Riley just looked at her shocked. Everyone looked at her shocked.         Smackle and Zay glared at Riley. "I didnt tell anyone i promised i wouldnt." she said throwing her hands in surrender. Everyone started laughing. Riley felt different. Now she knew that she wasnt happy and now she is. Riley was Riley. Zay and Smackle. Lucas and Maya. Riley and Farkle.         Riley and Farkle were holding hands. "Wanna go to the movies?" Farkle asked Riley nodded and they left. "Chick flick or what. I dont know what you girls like." he smiling. Riley laughed "I dont care." Riley said she looked over "OH MY GOSH! The Conjouring 2! Please?" Riley begged.        "Riley i dont...see....um" he said. She gave him the puppy dog eyes "Please." she said so innocently. Farkle hesitated. "Fine i cant resist those eyes." he said and went to buy the tickets. Everyone else came. "What are you guys doing?" Riley said "Going to a movie. What are you guys seeing?" Maya said. "The Conjouring 2" Farkle sighed handing Riley her ticket.         She looked up and smiled. He looked down and fake smiled. She looked at her friends they were smiling. "Farkle hates scary movies." Lucas said. Riley looked at him. "I didnt know that." she said looking up."She she puppy eyes-ed me." he said pointing at her. Riley smiled again and looked at everyone and nodded.          "But Farkle doesnt like them no matter what." Zay said. Riley smiled. "The movies about to start. Dont worry ill protect you." she said messing with Farkles hair. "Ha ha very funny." he said walking towards her. Everyone followed. Everyone sat in the theatre silent watching a movie. Happy, together, perfect.
