Chapter Six

      After looking for Riley for a while Farkle found her sitting on the roof of her building crying. Riley noticed Farkle "Im fine. Im happy for Maya." she said through her tears she was obviously not okay.      "Riley, you dont lie to me." Farkle said sitting down next to her with his arm around her. He could obviously tell she wasnt okay so he just sat there and held her while she was crying into his jacket.       "Farkle, I am happy for Maya." Riley said looking into his sparkling blue eyes. "I have no doubt of that. Im sure you are happy for her. But you are not okay." He said looking into her eyes so deep that he could feel her soul. She just layed on his shoulder. They sat there completely quiet for about an hour.      "Farkle, thank you." Riley said getting off of his shoulder. "For?" Farkle said confused. "For sitting with me." she said looking at him. "Thats what im here for." he said. They sat there staring at eachother. All of a sudden they felt something drawing them closer and closer until they finally kissed.      Smackle was standing at the entrance she saw them kiss. They immediately pull away. "Um.." Riley said "Yeah.." Farkle said. "Why did- How did-" Riley said. Farkle just shrugged. They heard a shuffle and looked up and saw Smackle looking at them. Smackle just walked out. Farkle went after her.      Riley just sat there thinking of what to do. She decided to tell Maya and her parents.      Farkle followed Smackle all of the way down stairs. The group was down there but telling they were arguing they decide to hide and watch. "Smackle." he said grabbing  Smackles arm (who at this point was in tears) she whipped away. "No." she said. "Let me explain." Farkle said trying to get her to understand. "Explain what huh? That Riley was crying and trying to confide in you? That you were just "comforting" her? No, Farkle. I saw you kiss her." Smackle said. The group was completely surprised. Riley ran down stairs seeing them in the lobby and them seeing her she froze.       "I need to talk to Maya." Riley said "Riley." Farkle said looking at her. "No I need to talk to Maya. I need to talk to her and my parents." Riley says. "Riley calm down." Farkle said. Riley grabbed him by his shirt "No I will not calm down. We kissed. That is in no way okay. My life is already going down hill. I am not going to ruin life long friendships because we got caught up in our feelings." Riley said. Farkle was just silent, she let go of his shirt.      The group came out from behind the bushes. The three saw them. Riley was in tears. "Great. Just great." Riley said she ran upstairs. Farkle and Smackle just walked out and went home. Maya followed Riley upstairs and Lucas and Zay just left and went home.      Riley runs inside in tears. Cory, Josh and Topanga are sitting at the kitchen table. Riley plops down on the couch and cries into her hands. Maya walks in not far behind her and sits next to her and hugs her. Maya looks at Cory, Josh and Topanga. "Riles, wanna go to your room and do this?" Maya asks. Riley looks up and sees her family there she just puts her face back in her hands and continues sobbing.      Eric walks in "Hey guys-- Whats up with her?" he asks. Maya looks at everyone but Riley just keeps crying. "Riley do you want to tell them?" Maya asked. Riley didnt respond, she just kept crying.      "Is it really bad?" Topanga asks from the kitchen. No answer. There was a knock at the door. It was Farkle. "Um, Riley Farkle is here." Maya said to Riley. Riley just grabbed a pillow and threw it at him. Maya just shrugged and Eric closed the door.       "Riles just tell them. Knowing how much they meddle they are gonna find out anyways." Maya says lifting Rileys head and wiping her tears. Riley sniffles a little. "O-Okay i was cry-crying on the roof and F-Farkle came and and he was comforting m-me and the- and the-" Riley said she couldnt hardly breath "And then..." Maya said helping Riley "Y-Yeah and the-then he ki- he ki- we kissed." Riley said and kept sobbing. Everyone looked around shocked.      Riley eventually cried her self to sleep. No one new what to do nor what would happen next.
