Bonus Chapter – Chapter 26 – Without hesitation

"Congratulations!" everybody said as we cut the cake. Soon after, Geum Ran came over to us and hugged us. "Happy Anniversary, Mom and Dad," she said as she passed a box to us. "Thank you very much," I said and Jonghyun smiled at her. "Happy Anniversary," Jonghyun said as he fed me with some cake.

I actually can't believe that it's already been 18 years since our marriage. I remember, getting my first and only child one year after my marriage, it was a very hard yet incredible time. Geum Ran, my daughter, has grown to be a very talented, intelligent and beautiful young lady.

Eun hee is currently in Germany with her husband and children and Kyungsoo is still busy in acting. Sadly, both of them couldn't join us today, but we all understood that they have to work.

We still knew what was going on in Siwon's and Minji's live but they had somehow become a bit distant from us, they were probably busy with their own lives. When it comes to Jae Wook and Sawako, I have to say, even after many years, they seem like the sweetest couple.

Time after time, all of the SHINee members married and became parents. Onew had a son, Key had 2 daughters, and Minho had two sons while Taemin had a daughter. Hyorin and Jaejoong also have a daughter, who is at the same age as Geum Ran. These eight children go to the same school and are pretty good friends.

"Geum Ran, we just heard about you prince" Ji Wan, Minho's son teased as he wiggled his eyebrows. "Don't make fun of me, I don't even know who he is!" Geum Ran defended herself. "He looks fine, though" Yun hee, Jaejoong's daughter said. "I know right! He is new and very popular between the girls." Taemin's daughter added.

"Guys, stop it. Just because he saved me doesn't mean that he is my prince or anything like that" Geum Ran said and rolled her eyes. "Who is the prince?" I asked curiously and everybody looked at me. Seems like they forgot that the adults were also in this room.

"Nothing" Geum Ran hurriedly said. "Really?" I asked looking amused. I knew exactly whom they were talking about. "We have to go now, or else we will miss our bus," my daughter said and stood up, trying to get out of this situation. "Have fun at your trip" Key said.

"See you later, mom and dad. Let's go everybody" Geum Ran said as she walked out of the house. "Bye Aunt Soo Min, by everyone," said Onew's son and all of the children walked outside. "These kids are a handful," Hyorin said and smiled.

"I've been wondering for a while now: how did Geum Ran break her arm?" Taemin asked. "She told us that she slipped from the rooftop ceiling and somebody saved her. Unfortunately, she broke her arm" Jonghyun replied. "That person must be the 'prince' they were talking about," Minho said.

"Didn't that happen to Jonghyun and you, minus the broken arm?" Onew asked. "Well that's true," I said. "Funny how the past is repeating itself," Minho said. "I wouldn't be surprised if this boy is actually an idol," Jaejoong said and we all laughed.

After one hour, everybody left and I was cleaning the kitchen while Jonghyun was taking a shower. Suddenly I felt somebody lean on my shoulders and of course, I knew who it was.

"Jonghyun, are you tired?"

"Very"

"You should go and sleep now"

"I don't want to"

"Why?"

"You smell so nice. I don't want to move, let me just close my eyes and stay here"

Suddenly my heart began racing and it somehow felt hot.

"Jonghyun?"

"Hmm?"

"Why is my heart still beating fast even though I am married to you for 18 years now?"

"That's the effect I have on you. You can't get used to me, even if you see me for your lifetime" he said and laughed.

"Soo Min?"

"Yes"

"We faced a lot together and have survived 18 years now. You will continue to be by my side, right?"

"Without hesitation"

Actually, some days ago, at a fan meet, a fan asked Jonghyun how many times she must see him so that she feels normal around him. Jonghyun replied by saying that even if she saw him for her lifetime, she wouldn't get used to him because that's the effect he has on people. Basically, I just quoted him in this chapter :D

Anyway, I had so much fun writing this story and getting positive comments made me really happy too. I will surely write again, probably a Jonghyun fan fiction again or a story where many idols are involved.

Since I will write again, I won't say goodbye.
