Chapter 9 - Do we have some jelly?

Chapter 9 - Do we have some jelly?

"Your rudeness never ends" Hyorin said and shook her head. "Well, I learned it from you" Jonghyun said and smirked. My mouth flew open in shock and I just starred at them. Since when does Jonghyun smirk? And it's also the first time I've seen Jonghyun talk so rudely.

Is there more to Jonghyun than I thought?

"Can you stop arguing? You guys are arguing for five minutes now and are not telling me how you guys met" I ask frustrated. "This is my arch enemy from primary school" Hyorin said and pointed at Jonghyun. "No way! He is the nicest guy I have met so far, it can't be him" I said and laughed.

Jonghyun hung his head low and looked at his shoes. "Sadly, I am," he said and my eyes widen. "How? I mean, why? Something must have happened for you to be like this," I said in a calm voice. I don't believe, that Jonghyun is rude and arrogant, as Hyorin liked to describe him.

"Actually, I don't remember much from my primary school days, but I remember that he used to snatch away my cookie and eat it. He also spread his feet intentionally, so that I would trip and fall down." She said and I looked at Jonghyun to explain himself.

"What you did was worse than this. You once threw your pudding at me and in the break, you shot a football in my face, I had a nose bleed afterwards. I was just a damn primary school student! Don't you think you took it too far?" he asked and I saw a defeated look on Hyorins face.

"How about we forget about this and watch a movie together?" I asked and both of them looked uneasy. "Come on," I pleaded and both gave in.

For the next 120 minutes I was sitting next to Hyorin, on my left side, and Jonghyun, on the right side. I think those were the most awkward 120 minutes of my life. Both didn't utter a word, the only sound you could hear was from the movie or me, munching on popcorn.

"Why did you come here anyway?" I asked after the film ended. "Aren't I welcomed?" he asked playfully. "Of course you are! You are my best friend," I said casually. "Eh-hem" Hyorin cleared her throat. "And of course Hyorin" I said and we all laughed. This was probably the moment when our tension cleared a little bit.

"Actually, I came here because of our English assignment" he said. "Let me get my assignment and worksheets" I said and ran upstairs. And so our little learning session began. We were sitting in the living room, Jonghyun and I on the floor, with books spread everywhere and Hyorin was sitting on the couch, reading a book and trying to ignore us, but I could see her glancing over at us a few times.

"English is tough," he said after we finished. "I could help you anytime if you want," I said in an offering tone. "I'll keep that in mind. It really is easy for you; that's the advantage of living in America for a long time" he said and sighed. "Oh, I just remembered.I also have to meet Baekhyun in two days," I said. "B-Baekhyun? Why?" he asked, astonished.

"He has been getting English tuition from me recently. Studying English with you reminded it to me," I said and he just looked at me emotionless. "Do we have some jelly? I can smell some" Hyorin said and smirked. Jonghyun just shot her a glare and I was wondering why she was asking for jelly suddenly.

"How can you smell jelly? Anyway, we don't have jelly, but we have pudding in the fridge" I said and Hyorin just wiggled her eyebrows. "Anyway, I have to go now, see you in school tomorrow," he said and got up. I escorted him outside and waved my hand at him, as I watched him walk away.

"I can't believe it's him! You said that he is nice and angelic, but in reality he is rude and a devil" Hyorin said as soon as I closed the door. "He IS nice and angelic, it's just a misunderstanding from you two" I said and rolled my eyes.

"Anyway, you are starting university tomorrow, right? Which university are you going to?" I asked. "Seowon University," she said and took a bite from her apple. "WHAT? Really? That's great," I said excitedly. "Did you know that I attend Seowon High School? The high school and university are next to each other, so will see each other often. You also have to meet Onew, he goes to the university too" I said.

"Okay," she said and with that, our conservation ended. The next day came quickly and I was glad that it was a Thursday, one more day to go. I got ready and went to the living room and saw that everybody was already eating breakfast.

Since I didn't eat breakfast, I was just sitting on the sofa until Hyorin was finished. Then Hyorin, Kyungsoo and Eun hee got up and wore their shoes. I joined them too, and together, we all four left the house and walked to the bus stop. "By Eun hee" we said and Eun hee parted our ways, because she had to take the bus. After walking further, Kyungsoo took the train to his university and then Hyorin and I were left alone.

We walked till the Seowon Entrance together and she left for her university and me for my high school. "Good morning, Soo Min" Minji said as she hung her arm around my neck. "Minji, I am so tired" I said as I rubbed my eyes. We walked to our classroom together and as we entered we saw SHINee, except Onew who was in university, talking at Jonghyuns desk.

"I don't know what that feeling was! It felt so weird; I wanted to punch Baekhyun even though he is a close friend and he didn't do anything wrong" Jonghyun said to the members. The classroom was empty and it seemed like they hadn't noticed Minji's or my presence.

"Omo! Could it be that you are in L-"Key was cut off from Minho as he saw me and Minji standing there and listening. "What are you doing here?" Taemin asked nervously. "You know that I go in the same class as Jonghyun?" I said.

"Oh yeah, I completely forgot" Taemin said. "We will see each other at lunch again. We have to go now" Minho said and the three members walked away. "What were you talking about? Did you fight with Baekhyun?" I asked as I sat on Jonghyuns chair, while he was standing on the side, drinking some water. "No," he said in a denying tone. "Okay..." I said.

That's so weird. I don't hide anything from him and he doesn't hide anything from me. But why was Jonghyun hiding something? I clearly heard him talking about Baekhyun, so why did he deny it?

I walked to my desk and drove into my 'thinking mode' the entire lesson, no, in fact all of the lessons until lunch. Why? That was my only question. I thought we didn't hide secrets. "What are you thinking about the entire time? You don't even laugh at my jokes today. I want the old Soo Min back" Siwon said with a pouting face. "Sorry, I'll try to get back to normal" I said and smiled a little bit.

"Let's eat Lunch" Minji said and dragged Siwon away. By now, both of them knew, that I eat lunch with SHINee so they didn't even bother asking if I would join them. I went to our usual table with a plate of Spaghetti and sat down. Key and Taemin were already there, talking, and I saw Minho and Jonghyun coming over with their trays.

"Sorry, I am late" Onew said as he came running to us. Since the university and high school were next to each other, Onew had decided to come over and eat lunch with us.

"And this is how my I almost burned my house as a six year old" Onew finished his story and all of the members looked at him as if he did the weirdest thing ever. Actually, I hadn't really paid attention, I was still upset for the fact that Jonghyun knew my life story and he was hiding things from me.

I even told him about Hana and Oliver and why we had fought. Means, he also knew that I had liked Oliver. The bell rang and we hurriedly went to our classes and so the rest of the school day passed.

I went outside and stood next to the university, waiting for Hyorin. "That was such a long day. So much happened, I don't even know from where to start," she said as we started to walk. "How about from the beginning?" I said and she sighed.

"Fine. Well, when I was walking to my class, I bumped into a guy. He was so damn arrogant and full of himself. He kept on saying that I should watch where I am going! Turned out that he is an idol" she said and rolled her eyes. "Oh, I forgot to tell you that there are many Idols in the Seowon High School and university. 6 idols in the high school and 4 idols in the university" I said and Hyorin comprehended what I had said.

"And who are they?" she asked. "In the high school: Jonghyun, Minho, Key, Taemin, Siwon and Baekhyun, from the university, I don't know who the other four are, except Onew,"

"And the guy I probably met is from the other three. His name is Jaejoong and he even has the same classes as me!" she said disbelieved. "Jaejoong from JYJ? Interesting," I said. In the past three weeks I had learned quite a lot about Kpop stars.

We walked through a park and I was shocked to see a girl standing in the park. It was the same girl I had met at the airport, she had asked me if the flight from Tokyo had landed. But this girl standing there wasn't what had shocked me.

The fact that Jonghyun was standing there, next to her, talking to her, no laughing with her was what shocked me. Hyorin stood next to me and spat some words, which I didn't understand, and probably never will.

"Do we have some jelly? I can smell some"

End of chapter 9Guys, I have a Bad News. After hearing it my face was literally like this:

Have you heared? Jonghyun can't participate in SHINee World 2016 today because he was suffering from intense pain and had to go to the hospital immediately. The doctor diagnosed him with gastroenteritis. Hope he gets well soon.

While I was sitting in the train, I read that news. Actually I didn't know what gastroenteritis means and had a mini heart attack. Well, I didn't know if it is a serous problem. After looking up in Google, I was relieved to find out that it's a stomach flu, nothing too serious. I heared that the flu got him really bad so let's hope for him to return safe and sound.

The person sitting next to me probably thought that I was a weirdo, since I looked like a hypocrite after reading the news.
