This kinda feels like protective part of Kurama. I'm squealing... I'm not actually just simping. To all lazy asses out there, turn your wifi on and see the artwork. It's an illustration of an upcoming scene. It's Sasuke that's lying on the ground.

Hey there... Let's start with the story, shall we?

No one's pov:

Three people where seen fighting a clone, a villager crawling back in fear, an unconcious child and a man with a sword twice his size.

Yep!! It's the infamous team 7 and their client fighting a missing nin's clone.

The real deal is nowhere in sight. To make things worse, the whole scene is covered in thick mist, giving the attacker advantage of the helpless state of the victims.

Obito had already activated his sharingon and waiting for the man to attack.

"Come out now, Zabuza". Obito yelled. Dark chuckles started ringing in the air creating an echo effect.

Suddenly Obito sensed someone approaching him with an inhuman speed and quickly jumped away, seperating himself from the others.

With their sensei out of sight, Sasuke and Sakura are forced to protect their unconcious teammate and the helpless client.

You might be wondering how they ended up in this situation, right?

After Jiraya's surprise visit and the 'gift' Naruto received from the sannin, his body completely shutdown as in a way to adjust himself with the new power he just received.

Naruto's body temperature rose and he started sweating. When the team realised Naruto's having a fever, they decided to move quickly and reach Tazuna's village before sunset, so that Naruto could rest in Tazuna's house. And they can't rest, considering they might get attacked again.

On the way to the village, Obito managed to get the truth out of Tazuna about Gato, and Zabuza, who's hired to kill the bridge builder.

Once they stepped onto the shore from the boat, the whole place got covered in the mist, and hence the situation they are in.

Somehow by attacking without any openings, Zabuza managed to get Obito in the river, immediately locking him in the water-prison.

On the shore, Sasuke somehow managed to defeat clone Zabuza by... talent or pure luck. He decided to go help his sensei but is blocked by a masked nin.

"Sakura, look after Naruto and Tazuna. I'll take care of him." Sasuke yelled as he ran towards the boy in mask.

"Nice timing, Haku. Finish them off". Zabuza yelled, still holding the water prison.

The boy, now identified as Haku gave a curt node. He threw sebon at the unconscious blonde, probably wanting to finish him off while he's still weak.

Sasuke lifted Naruto and ran to Sakura, who in turn hugged his limp body and trembled with tears in her eyes.

"Sasuke, I'm sorry." Sakura mumbled as Sasuke stood up.

"It's not the time to be whining and complaining. If you want to do it, then do it after the fight. Now protect these two, especially Naruto. Don't go getting any funny ideas. Even though you don't like Naruto, I love him, even if I don't show it. He's like a little brother to me, and I'm trusting his safety with you. I don't want to see any scratch on him when I return. Is that clear?" Sasuke asked.

"Y-yes" Sakura said.

"Good". Sasuke turned around and ran towards Haku who immediately performed a jutsu and trapped him in an ice prison.

A few moments later, Sasuke's screams could be heard throughout the forest. A few moments later the ice cage disappeared and Haku walked towards the trio.

Sasuke was lying motionless on the place where the ice prison was."He's dead". Haku said noticing her worried look.

Naruto then started squirming in the hands of Sakura. She looked down at his baby face. His face was twisted in pain and he's breathing heavily. Sweat started forming on his face along with tears as he started whimpering in pain.

A wave of protectiveness was the only thing Sakura felt. Her big sister mode turned on and then her body began to move on it's own. She now understood why Sasuke seemed so protective of Naruto. Hell, she felt like she would kill if anyone harmed Naruto.

(I checked Google. It said that Naruto is younger than both Sasuke and Sakura. And he's short too. Kinda makes him the little brother of team 7. Sorry though, but we won't be having any cute moments, Team 7 is too late to help their little brother. That being said, I wanna ask you guys something. It's about Gaara. In this story, Naruto won't be able to make Gaara see the light. And Sasuke isn't the type to drag someone out of darkness. And Sakura is a definite no! So those three are out of the list. Should I make Gaara a good hearted person? That is how my story goes, but if you have any ideas, feel free to share. I will use it if it's beneficial to the story, or you could just read the story I have in mind. It's your choice. Now back to the story.)

"Keep Naruto safe" she yelled to Tazuna and took fighting stance. She looked at Sasuke, who was lying down pretty beaten up... and probably, dead. She looked at her sensei and saw that he's almost out of breath. If she doesn't break the water prison, he could die of suffocation.

"It's all up to me no-" She couldn't complete her sentence as she felt an immense amount of dark chakra from behind her.

She looked behind and saw Naruto getting up, dark purple, black and small red aura emitting from his body. Tazuna staggered back in fear. Haku stopped in his tracks and Zabuza raised an eyebrow, sensing trouble.

Naruto stood up and walked forward and stood beside Sakura. His eyes covered by bangs. He slowly studied his surroundings, until his eyes fell on his idol he looked up to all these times... lying motionless...as if he's dead.

Naruto hissed in anger as he looked up. "Sasuke". Suddenly he grinned like a  maniac, the dark energy flared up and strange markings once again appeared on his body.

"Sakura... Who did this to Sasuke?" Naruto asked, giggling like a kid.

"Naruto... please calm do-" Sakura was cut off by Haku himself. "I did it. What are you gonna do?"

'Is this guy crazy? If what Jiraya-sama said was true, Naruto, at the moment, is driven by pure hatred and negativity. He could kill this guy' Sakura thought and started panicking.

Naruto slowly looked away from Naruto to Haku, and started chuckling. "Haha... Is that so? Don't worry, I'll just rip your heart out, nothing more."

Before anyone could blink, Naruto disappeared in a flash and appeared infront of Haku, his hand stretched through Haku's chest.

Blood spilled everywhere. Naruto tilted his head and grinned at the pained expression of Haku

He pulled out his hands and Haku's lifeless body fell down. He started laughing loudly as he started to kick Haku. His leg went through Haku's body, creating holes everytime Naruto kicked.

"Oi... Stop it!" Zabuza yelled as he ran towards Naruto, forgetting about Obito.

Obito fell on water, coughing and gasping for air. Zabuza tried to swing his sword but Naruto stopped it by his bare hands. Small cracks appeared on the sword. The cracks got bigger and bigger and atlast the sword shattered into pieces.

Naruto grinned at the shocked Zabuza, with a closed eye smile, he asked. "Say, are you the one who locked sensei in that water ball?"

Upon receiving no response, Naruto cracked open his eyes and looked at Zabuza. He saw tears falling down from his bandaged face.

Naruto's baby blue eyes widened. His irises slowly changed into blood red with slits. Naruto looked crazy now.

"Oh... So much negativity. I want more...more...MORE...MORE..." Naruto started to scream as plunged his fist into Zabuza's stomach. He dragged his hand to where his chest is, successfully tearing through the flesh.

Once he got hold of Zabuza's heart, he retreated his hands rather harshly, pulling the beating organ out.

Light faded away from his eyes and his body fell backwards.

"More...more... more..." Naruto chanted as he approached Zabuza's body, probably to make holes like he did to Haku, only to be stopped by a pair of strong hands.

Naruto stumbled a bit and looked kind of shocked. The other person used this opportunity to turn Naruto around and hug Naruto close to his chest, again.

"Sasuke..." Naruto growled as he struggled to get free. But the other person's grip, now identified as Sasuke, was strong.

"If you don't let go of me now, I'll kill you... kill everyone here... yes.. more blood... I want more.." Naruto started to struggle violently. Sasuke started to stroke Naruto's hair gently and whisper in his ear about the fun things they did when they were doing D-rank missions to snap Naruto back to reality.

Soon Naruto started to calm down. His red eyes turned back to blue. The markings on his body slowly started to disappear.

"AAAAHHHH"Naruto screamed in pain as the markings completely disappeared. You know... drawbacks of using the power without proper training...

Naruto started to cough violently while Sasuke rubbed his back trying to ease the pain, still not letting go. Soon his eyelids began to droop, and he fell into Sasuke's strong arms, unconcious again.

'How much hate have you been harbouring inside of you, Naruto, to snap suddenly like this? Are we too late?' Sasuke thought sadly as he looked at Naruto's baby face, scrunched in pain, while shaking violently in his hands.
