21:14, 17 June 2025Right on cue—
> Ahaan (walking in, smirking): “Wow, you guys talkin’ about me? Mera naam leke badnaam mat karo.”
Samaira stared at him like he was the villain in her biopic.
> Ahaan (to Samaira): “Tum chill kyu nahi karti ho, huh?”
> Samaira: “Aap chill zone mein exist hi nahi karte. Aap stress with legs ho.”
> Ahaan (mock hurt): “Ajeeb behen mili hai mujhe.”
Tanisha stared at Ahaan, trying not to look obvious but completely failing. Samaira noticed—and panicked again.
> Samaira (to Tanisha, whispering): “Stop staring, Tani. Close your jaw. Breath. He’s not Ranbir Kapoor.”
> Vihaan: “Ranbir bhi nahi bachta. Sharma charm is dangerous.”
> Aarav (teasing): “Imagine Ahaan finding out…”
> Samaira: “AARAV, don’t you dare—”
> Ahaan (suspiciously): “Kya imagine kar rahe ho sab?”
> Samaira (faking smile): “Nothing. They were just… admiring your hair gel.”
> Ahaan (flips hair): “Understandable.”
But oh no.
> Ahaan (turning to Tanisha): “Tum nayi ho na? Naam kya hai?”
> Tanisha (nervous wreck): “T-Tanisha.”
> Ahaan (smiling casually): “Nice to meet you.”
> Samaira (internal screaming): Tanisha.exe has stopped working. I repeat. She has stopped working.
> Tanisha (barely breathing): “N-nice… to meet you too…”
Samaira literally grabbed Ahaan’s sleeve and dragged him a few steps away.
> Samaira (hissing): “Bhaiya! What are you doing?!”
> Ahaan (confused): “Kya kiya maine?”
> Samaira: “She has a crush on you!”
> Ahaan (eyes widening): “Kya?! Tanishaaaa??”
> Samaira: “YES! I nearly died because of that revelation!”
> Ahaan (laughs): “Abbe tu zyada filmy ho gayi hai. Main kya karoon agar main irresistible hoon?”
> Samaira: “GAH! I need new friends!”

💀 CUT TO:Vihaan, Nirbhay, and Aarav giggling in the background.Tanisha sitting there frozen, whispering to herself, “He said my name. He said my name.”
Samaira: ☠️Ahaan: 💅Tanisha: 😵The rest of them: 😭
Just then, a classmate passing by muttered something under their breath about Samaira being “adopted for fame.” Loud enough for everyone to hear.
Ahaan’s entire expression changed.
Ahaan (snapping): “Tu apne kaam se kaam rakh, Varun. Ek aur shabd bola na, toh language bhool jaaunga main.”
The table went silent. Ahaan’s friends knew that look. And Tanisha instantly placed a hand on Samaira’s arm.
Tanisha: “Ignore them. You’re way above their nonsense.”
Ahaan (softly, to Samaira): “Tu theek hai?”
Samaira (quietly): “Haan…”
Ahaan (firm but warm): “Next time someone says something like that, come straight to me.”
Samaira gave a small nod — and even though she rolled her eyes, her heart weirdly warmed at how protective he’d been.
Tanisha leaned over again and whispered with a smirk:“Now I know why I like him.”
Samaira (muttering): “Tum dono ek jaise ho. Insane.”
They all burst into laughter — and somewhere in that moment, Samaira didn’t feel so new anymore.
Sharma Residence – Living Room – Evening
Samaira was curled up in one corner of the sofa, knees to her chest, eyes downcast. Her stomach had been aching all day, her mood swinging wildly, and an odd heaviness clouded her mind. She didn’t understand it — this unfamiliar pain, this sadness. Everything felt too much.
Ahaan walked in casually, tossing his phone on the side table, a lazy grin on his face.
Ahaan (lightly teasing):"Madam Sharma... itni shaant? Tanisha se ladai ho gayi ya ?"He chuckled, clearly joking, unaware of what she was going through.
Samaira’s lips trembled. She wasn’t in the state to laugh, not today.
Samaira (softly):"Please... bhaiya, mazaak mat karo."
Ahaan (teasing):"Oye... aaj toh badi emotional ho rahi ho. Kya ho gaya, drama queen?"
But before she could respond, her face crumpled.Tears rolled down silently, and she held her stomach tighter, curling further into herself.
Just then, Rohit entered from the hallway. He saw her and instantly hurried over.
Rohit (soft but firm):"Ahaan… bas. That’s enough."His voice was calm but held weight. Ahaan instantly stopped, guilt flashing on his face.
Ahaan:"I—I didn’t mean to... I was just messing around—"
Rohit (kneeling beside Samaira, softly brushing her hair):"I know... but sometimes teasing can hurt more than we realise. She's not okay right now."
Ahaan looked genuinely concerned now.Samaira was still sobbing softly, not looking up.
Rohit (gently to her):"Ladoo… papa ko batayega kya ho raha hai?"
Samaira whimpered, “Mujhe nahi pata, bas... sab ajeeb lag raha hai…”
Rohit’s eyes softened. Realization slowly dawned on him.He didn’t say anything further, just wrapped his arms around her.
Rohit (soothingly):"Koi baat nahi... papa hai na, sab theek hoga."
Ahaan watched silently now, the earlier smile wiped off his face. He stood still, hands folded awkwardly, guilt pooling in his chest.
Rohit (looking up at him gently):"Sometimes, we don’t know what someone’s going through. So... just be a little careful next time, hmm?"
Ahaan (nodding quietly):"Sorry..."
Samaira didn’t say anything — just leaned her head on Rohit’s shoulder, comforted by his steady heartbeat. For the first time that day, she felt a little safe.
Rohit was still sitting beside Samaira, gently stroking her hair as she laid on the bed, her face pale and eyes puffy. She had fallen into a restless nap after crying, and Rohit hadn’t moved an inch.
Ritika stepped in quietly, her expression turning serious the moment she saw Samaira’s curled-up posture and Rohit’s worried eyes.
Ritika (softly, concerned):"Ro... kya hua?"
Rohit looked up, his brows furrowed, voice low and troubled.
Rohit:"She’s been feeling really low. Pet dard ho raha hai... emotional bhi hai. Kuch samajh nahi aa raha mujhe, Rits…"
Ritika walked over quickly, kneeling on the other side of the bed. She gently touched Samaira’s forehead and cheeks, noting the slight clamminess and discomfort in her expression.
Her gaze slowly softened with realization.
Ritika (gently, whispering to Rohit):"Ro... I think... it’s her first period."
Rohit blinked, stunned for a second.
Rohit (almost whispering):"Kya...?"
Ritika nodded slowly.
Ritika:"Sab symptoms wahi keh rahe hain. Pehli baar hai... toh wo khud bhi confused hogi. Scared hogi."
Rohit sat back slightly, as if the air had shifted. His eyes welled up with an emotion he hadn’t expected — shock, concern, and something deep, fatherly.
Rohit (softly):"Meri bacchi badi ho rahi hai..."
Ritika smiled faintly, her hand reaching over to hold his.
Ritika:"Haan... aur use hum dono ki zarurat hai abhi sabse zyada."
She got up and walked to the cupboard, pulling out a heating pad and a soft blanket. She gently sat beside Samaira, brushing her hair back as the little girl stirred.
Samaira blinked her eyes open slowly.
Samaira (groggy):"Mumma...?"
Ritika’s eyes instantly welled up, but she nodded with a soft smile.
Ritika:"Haan, baby… Mumma yahin hai."
Samaira (weakly):"Mujhe samajh nahi aa raha... kya ho raha hai mujhe..."
Ritika cupped her face lovingly.
Ritika:"Tumhe thoda pain ho raha hai na? Yeh sab natural hai, sweetheart… tum bas thodi badi ho gayi ho."
Rohit watched from the side, his eyes full of emotions. He never thought this moment would come so soon. But there it was — his baby girl, trembling, scared… and slowly growing up.
He walked over and gently took her hand.
Rohit (softly):"Papa hamesha yahin hai, okay? Chahe kuch bhi ho."
Samaira’s lips trembled again. But this time, she didn’t cry from fear. She squeezed his hand and whispered, “Thank you… papa.”
Rohit smiled through teary eyes.
Samaira was curled up on her bed, the hot water bag resting against her stomach. Her eyes were still puffy from crying, confused and embarrassed about what was happening to her body. Ritika sat beside her, gently running her fingers through Samaira's hair.
Ritika (in a soft voice):"Samaira… mujhe pata hai tum dar gayi ho, par jo ho raha hai na… woh bilkul normal hai. Tum badi ho rahi ho, beta."
Samaira looked up, unsure.
Samaira (whispering):"Par… mujhe samajh nahi aa raha… bleeding kyun ho rahi hai mujhe?"
Ritika held her hand, her voice calm and filled with love.
Ritika:"Yeh bleeding har ladki ko hoti hai jab woh grow kar rahi hoti hai. Isse periods kehte hain. Har month ek baar hoti hai yeh, for a few days. Aur main bhi… har ladki… sab experience karti hain yeh."
Samaira blinked, trying to process it.
Samaira:"Har mahine…? But… it hurts. Aur mujhe kisi ne nahi bataya…"
Ritika (soft smile):"Main aaj hoon na tumhare saath. Yeh kuch dino ka discomfort hota hai… thoda pain, thoda thakaan. Lekin hum handle kar lete hain. Aur tum toh meri strong princess ho."
She took out a packet from the small basket nearby.
Ritika:"Yeh pad hota hai. Isse pehente hain taaki clothes safe rahen aur tum comfortable feel karo. Main tumhe sikha dungi kaise use karte hain. Koi pressure nahi, bas dhyan se suno, theek hai?"
Samaira nodded slowly, still nervous, but a tiny bit calmer.
Just then, a hesitant knock on the door.
Ahaan (peeking in, awkwardly):"Uh... maa?"
Ritika looked at Samaira, who gave a small nod. Ritika smiled and called him in.
Ahaan walked in, clearly uncomfortable, scratching his head. In his hand was a Dairy Milk Silk and a tiny note scribbled messily:
“Don’t cry, I don’t like it when you cry.”
Ahaan (mumbling):"Um… I thought chocolate helps. Toh… here. Bas… feel better or something."
Samaira looked at the chocolate, then at the note.
Samaira (blinking back a smile):"Aapne... mere liye likha?"
Ahaan (quickly):"Nahi... matlab... haan... bas le lo yaar…"
Ritika (grinning):"Awww, look at you, big brother mode on."
Ahaan rolled his eyes and turned away, but couldn’t hide the smile creeping onto his face.
Samaira (shyly):"Thank you… Ahaan bhaiya."
He nodded like a superhero trying to act cool, and walked out muttering, “Main jaa raha hoon,” under his breath.
Samaira smiled softly.
Samaira:"Mumma… kya main weak hoon?"
Ritika (firmly, hugging her):"Bilkul nahi. You're the strongest girl I know. Welcome to the club, baby."
Ritika kissed her forehead, and Samaira snuggled close. That night, she fell asleep in Ritika’s arms—safe, understood, and loved.
Sharma Residence – Morning After
The morning at the Sharma residence was gentle, slow, and unusually quiet.
Samaira sat curled up on the plush living room couch, wrapped in a soft fleece blanket, a hot water bag resting on her lower stomach. Her face was slightly pale, and she winced every now and then—first-day cramps were hitting hard.
Rohit walked in, holding a steaming cup of ginger tea with honey.
Rohit (softly):"Samuu... yeh lo, thoda relief milega."
Samaira looked up, her eyes puffy from lack of sleep, but a faint smile tugged her lips.
Samaira:"Papa, mujhe school nahi jaana… bohot dard ho raha hai."
Rohit (firm yet loving):"Kisne kaha ki jana hai? Toh tum aaj bilkul school nahi jaogi. Tumhara papa hoon main, permission already granted."
He gently helped her sit up and handed her the cup.
Just then, Ritika entered the room with a hot towel and some medicines.
Ritika:"Here you go… ek medicine abhi lelo, aur yeh hot towel stomach pe rakho. Aur haan, zyada stress mat lena, theek hai?"
Samaira:"Thank you... Mumma."
Ritika’s eyes instantly welled up. It was the first time Samaira had called her Mumma so naturally—no hesitation, no sir.
Ritika (choked up, caressing her hair):"Aaj toh tumne meri morning bana di, princess."
Meanwhile, Ahaan entered the room, half asleep, ruffling his hair.
Ahaan:"Aur kya… yahan sab pyaar-vyaar chal raha hai aur mujhe kisi ne uthaya bhi nahi? School hai mujhe!"
Rohit chuckled and looked at Ritika with a smirk.
Rohit:"Jaa, jaa.Padhle tu."
Ahaan rolled his eyes but before leaving, he quietly placed a Dairy Milk silk bar on the table beside Samaira, pretending not to care.
Samaira (whispering with a grin):"Thank you… bhaiya."
Ahaan paused, turned back for a second with a fake scowl—
Ahaan:"Tu school miss kar rahi hai, meri band bajne wali hai tumhari wajah se!"
But his eyes twinkled with affection.
And as he left, Rohit sat back next to Samaira, placing her head on his shoulder again.
Rohit (softly):"Aaj ka din bas papa ke saath… no school, no stress. Sirf rest aur pyaar."
Samaira nodded, finally feeling seen, safe, and cherished.
