They say that HYBE is treating their employees with some relaxation from their work–like less work and more early outs.
However...
It was all lies to begin with...
HYBE employees are having a stressful day because the company decided to make a lot of group comebacks. All of their comeback schedules made a huge fuss–making all the employees from each group of the company panic and frustrated.
Just like our Heyoung-ya–she's having endless nights, staying late at the office because she has tons of work to finish, including Aerum-ssi's work.
Right now, she's typing on her computer again. She knows that it is not part of her work like it is the music video department usually does.
After the long shift of typing on her computer, Heyoung decided to step outside of the office–taking a small break before returning back to work.
"Oh?" Heyoung said as she saw Scoups standing in front of the elevator.
Heyoung quietly walked towards the elevator and stood beside Scoups.
Scoups looked up from his phone and saw Heyoung standing beside him from the reflection of the elevator's door. He smiled at her. However, Heyoung didn't return it–still thinking about the food that Scoups bought for Aerum-ssi.
"Busy?" Scoups asked as both of them entered the elevator.
"You should take a break for a bit, Heyoung-ya." Scoups said as he noticed dark circles under Heyoung's eyes and how pale she looked.
"I'm taking my break for only five minutes, then going back. I'll just be grabbing some caffeine." Heyoung said, scrolling through her phone–checking some updates and notifications about the upcoming comeback schedule.
Scoups didn't mean to peek at her phone—he noticed that Heyoung had been typing on her phone and he saw the name of the person.
Hanjun...who's that? Scoups thought.
=====
Today, SEVENTEEN had a meeting about their group's comeback and schedules for 2021. Scoups was deep in his thoughts while waiting for the meeting to begin.
"Let's start our meeting," Aerum-ssi said as she was the head of the production team.
"For our agenda, we will be talking about the planned schedule for SEVENTEEN such as comeback dates and concerts." Aerum started.
The people inside the meeting began to listen to the presentation of Aerum–mostly some of them since all of them were tired.
"Last month, SEVENTEEN had an online concert entitled Incomplete–which made a successful turn to start off the year 2021. Because of that, the company decided to do an online concert again in the second half of 2021." Aerum announced.
Making all of the SEVENTEEN members wake up–the zoned-out people or the members who didn't give a damn about it.
They are also delighted to do an online concert again, but they really hope to CARATs in real life–not on screen.
"However, there's a sudden conflict with the schedule. Ms. Kim, would you take over the presentation?" Aerum said as the person she called out stood up from her seat and exchanged some words with her.
That person took a deep breath before she started to talk.
"Hi! I'm Kim Jian, one of the people who handles SEVENTEEN's schedules. So to start off, this year, SEVENTEEN will be busy."
As soon as she said that–the SEVENTEEN members groaned like they were already tired.
As the meeting was still ongoing, the door of the meeting suddenly opened–making the meeting stop for a bit. All of the people inside looked at the person who had just interfered in their meeting.
The person who interrupted their meeting was none other than Baek Hanjun—TXT's production staff member.
"Sorry to interrupt your meeting, Aerum-ssi. Can I steal Heyoung-ssi today? We are surely short on staff members right now, and we kinda need some help with some editing for TXT." Hanjun said, awkwardly standing.
Aerum looked at him and turned her gaze to Heyoung, who just carefully wrote in her notebook about the key points of the meeting.
"Heyoung-ssi, pack your things and go with Hanjun-ssi," Aerum ordered.
Heyoung quickly packed her things and went to Hanjun, who was just waiting for her.
However, Scoups didn't like what he saw–that Hanjun guy held Heyoung's hand.
He knows that his members are looking at him, worried about their leader.
Oh...he knew to himself that he needed to step up his game because there was competition.
And the prize is Heyoung–his Heyoung
=====
After being pulled out from the meeting, Heyoung found herself leaving the building with Hanjun still holding her hand–she had no clue where they were going.
"Hanjun-ssi...I thought you guys needed some help with the editing? Why are we leaving the building?" Heyoung asked, noticing that they were a few blocks away from HYBE.
"We are editing but not inside of HYBE."
Both of them stopped in front of the Gemini Cafe–being the gentleman, Hanjun opened the door for Heyoung, and she gladly went inside the cafe.
With the familiar smell of pastries and coffee lingering in the whole cafe. The chatter of the customers could be heard.
As they went inside the cafe, they found a table near the cashier.
"Hanjun-ssi, where's the others?" Heyoung asked while looking around if the other editors were around.
"It's just the two of us, Heyoung-ssi. I don't want others to disturb our work. There's nothing major to edit out." Hanjun said, getting up from his seat and going closer to Heyoung.
He whispered, "Actually...I just wanted to pull you out of that meeting, Heyoung-ssi. I want to hang out with you on a date. And I lied about editing something for TXT."
After saying that, he got up and stood in front of Heyoung. "So, what do you want to order, Heyoung-ssi?"
All Heyoung could feel was that she was not comfortable with the vibes he was giving.
