Chapter 5 Graze

Key's eyes went wide and he pushed me away. He blushed hard and looked away.

"Funny...heh..the mask save us huh.. That would've been awkward.." Key brushed his hair behind his ear.I closed my eyes and mentally scolded myself for forgetting the damn mouth mask was between our lips the whole time."Mmm" I mumbled quietly in response and noded my head once."W-well I'll be going now.." Key got up and left quickly enough for me not to grab his wrist again."Damn.." I sighed and threw my sick body against the bed before going back to sleep.I awoke a couple hours later from the tapping on my shoulder. It was Taemin who was checking up on me."Hyung? Your fever went down. You seem a lot better. How do you feel?" He smiled and helped me sit up by supporting my back for me.I pulled down the mask and wiped the hair off my forehead."I feel better now Tae, thanks." I patted his head."Where's Key?" I asked trying not to sound desperate."Ah, he went to change a long time ago in his room, but he hasn't come out yet and he locked the door. Minho tried to go in, but Key didn't open up." Taemin wrinkled his eyebrows confused.I sat down with my feet on the floor."I'll go check on him.""Alright hyung. Hurry cuz we gotta go to a thing with manager hyung right now. You and Key will get picked up at 7. Good luck hyung." He got up and left the room and headed out with everyone else.Okay I got this. He should understand if I tell him I don't remember because I was sick right? Yeah totally. I got up and walked out the door to Key and Minho's room. I straightened my posture and cleared my throat quietly then knocked on the door."Coming!" I heard him saw worried.He probably drifted off to sleep and thought I was Minho by the way he ran and opened it up."I'm sorry I think i just dozed off and- Jonghyun?" he realized and his body stiffened."Ah, yeah. The others, they went to schedule first. I uh waited here with you." I rubbed my nose once and looked away feeling the heat go to my face,"O-oh you didn't have to wait jjong..." his voice got quieter with every word.My heart thumped hard at the sound of my nickname and my hands started sweating. I shooved them in my pockets before speaking again."Ah I know bum I just uhm... I wanted to tell you sorry for earlier.. The ki-""The kiss? Oh it's okay. You were sick and the mask covered us anyways. Don't worry about it." he smiled and placed a hand on my shoulder then walked out to the kitchen.What the hell? I looked over in the direction he walked off and walked over to where he was."Wait so you're fine with it?" I asked him as he sat drinking a cup of tea."Uh what? It was something anyone would do if they're sick like you were. You weren't thinking straight so it doesn't bother me." Key said not looking up at me once just staring at his cup."So you didn't feel anything? At all?""What was there to feel jjong? There was a mask in the way. Why are you behaving so weird?" Key got up and walked over to the couch in the living room."I-I'm not acting weird I'm just-""Yes you are." he crossed his legs."No I'm not." I walked to the living room and stood in front of him. "I'm just confused cuz any person would have just freaked out because of the intention even if there was a mask between us." I said looking down at his perfect face."Look just cuz you're Jonghyun doesn't mean I'm like all the girls and some guys who would do anything to get their lips on yours. I'm not like that. Why are you questioning my actions? You're acting really odd, are you sure you're not sick?" Key stood up and reached for my forehead.I grabbed his arm and threw it down and pushed his body back on the couch along with me climbing on top of him."Jonghyun what the hell get off. This joke is getting ol-" he stopped talking once I placed my lips against his soft skin over his neck.I kissed him softly letting my mouth open against the sweet tasting skin. I hear him gulp hard as I did this. His hand snaked up to the back of head and his breath quickened."J-jjong-I-""Sh..." I placed a finger over his sweet plump and pink lips.They looked so soft. So sweet. So pink. I just wanted my lips against those. I wanted to devour his delicious lips. I licked my own lips just thinking of how tasty his would be. How they would feel when our saliva mixes and he opens it letting my tongue enter and explore.I had had enough of imagining it. I need to taste him. I reached to his shoulder and pulled down the fabric exposing his slim ajd delicate arm. I almost ripped the short trying to find a place to kiss,I lowered my head to look him in the eyes. The whole time he had his eyes closed. I didn't realize it was because I had been sucking on his shoulder for a long time and left another mark on his clean skin. I wasn't sorry. In fact I felt proud of the little pink mark I left.When he felt me leaning down closer to him he opened his eyes. Thwy were full of confusion. He didn't unserstand what I wanted. Even though he didn't know what was happening, never once did he have any intentions of pushing me off.I was so close. I could already feel his warm breath against my lips. His mouth was slightly parted as I went in for the kiss.Witht he luck I had my phone rang. Any other second later and I would have been able to taste his strawberry lips, but I didn't.I got up and walked to my room to answer the phone. It was our ride here ready for us to go to schedule."Yeah we'll be out in a bit. Yes, thank you." I hung up my phone and let out a heavy sigh."So close..." I whispered.Walking back to the living room I saw Key sitting up on the couch fixing his hair and shirt."Uh..rides here..." I didn't expect to be so embarrassed after this, but I really didn't know what to say."Oh," he nodded and got up getting his things and walking with me outside to the car."So close." I said locking the door.
