My family has a great rarity in what we are and what we do that is a bit confusing for most; It started with my grandfather, Edrick, the first King of Tiseah and his wife, Queen Hazel. It is the kingdom of all races and is ruled by my family. We live in the capital, Ezeria.

We are not of any race of Men, or Dwarves, or even Elves. There is no other on Middle Earth who can do what we do so we call ourselves the family of Tempests; Hybrids that look as though we are Human, have immortality and senses like Elves, and one special power that varies between us that make us unique.

Edrick had energy shields he used to protect himself and others around him. Hazel was Human, she did not possess any abilities.

They had three sons; Silas, Vardos, and Martarys.

My father, Silas, was crowned king after Edrick died in the first battle against Sauron and could naturally speak and understand every language of any race on Middle Earth.

Vardos was Silas' advisor in the politics of being a ruler and can teleport, going practically anywhere he wants by just thinking of the place.

Martarys, the Lord Commander of Tiseah's Armies, can change the weight of different objects.

My mother, Elrena Undomiel, was an Elf from Rivendell and the twin sister of Lord Elrond of Rivendell.

I was but a child when my father, uncles, and grandfather fought Sauron for. I only knew my grandfather for a short time before he was killed in the battle against him. My mother wanted to fight as well, but she could not after falling pregnant with my brother.

After all of that, My parents had three boys and three girls; Nikolas, me, Aleksander, Hadrian, Hadessa, and Esme. Vardos had Cleos, and Elrond had Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen. My name is Verena, or Ver, the firstborn daughter of King Silas Tempest and the first woman Tempest.

Nik is a shapeshifter; he can change his form into anything he desires.

Cleos has thermokinesis; the ability to change the temperature around him.

I can control the elements, fire, water, earth, and air.

Alek sees things from the past. Anything from any point in time, he can watch the history of our world as if it were a story being told right in front of him.

Ian and Dessa are twins.

Ian is an empath; he reads other's emotions better than just seeing a change in demeanour and can change another's emotions if he wants.

Dessa is a telepath; she reads other's minds and can speak to them in their heads.

That leaves us with Esme, who can make the sun rise and set as she wishes.

Every summer, My father, Nikolas, Cleos, myself, and sometimes my mother, would go to Greenwood so Nik, Cleos, and I could teach ourselves how to control our abilities. Prince Legolas would come and watch us and we would all play together. Greenwood forest was the safest place for us to learn how to control and use our powers since our abilities were more dangerous than our other siblings.

During the winters, I went with my mother, and sisters to Rivendell and Lothlorien, spending time with my cousins, Elladan, Elrohir, and Arwen, in Rivendell and the Galahon brothers, Haldir, Rumil and Oropher, in Lothlorien.

My mother, Lady Galadriel of Lothlorien, and Queen Eluriel of Greenwood were very close friends, and in that, we spent lots of time with them.

My father and uncles had always been close with Humans of Rohan and Gondor as well as Dwarves of Erebor so we were always gone in the spring and we would visit their royalties and always remained friends.

Later in my life, I realised that being a lady, a princess, was not what I wanted. I asked my father if he would allow me to learn how to fight. He said no and that he did not want me to get hurt. I asked Nik to teach me in secret anyway. With much persuasion, he agreed.

My father and Uncle Martarys found out a few months later. I was practising my archery, firing each arrow and most of them found the centre of the target. My father told me that he would allow my Uncle Martarys to train me with Cleos.

Since he was the Lord Commander of our Armies, Martarys taught me everything I needed to know in a battle, except for what I had already learned from my brother, who was reprimanded for letting me talk him into training me.

For centuries, we lived happily, visiting our friends from afar, and continued training with Cleos and Martarys.

My mother and father fought against Orcs of Gundabad and died there. They were helping Elves in the war and Legolas had lost his mother as well. Thranduil dared not speak of it ever again. Legolas would come to stay with us for a time and we would mourn them together.

After they died, Nikolas became king. There were many changes in Tiseah's government; Alek was made the advisor of the King, Vardos became his hand, Ian is now Commander of the Kingsguard, Martarys remained the Lord Commander of the Armies and made Cleos his second in command, and Dessa became a financial and legal advisor.

Esme married Rumil Galahon and moved to Caras Galadhon and became a very skilled healer in medicine.

Most of the time, I was away from Ezeria and was always on the move, never staying in one place too long nor beyond my stay. It started as a coping mechanism for the loss of my parents, then it turned into something more.

Ian and Dessa joined me when I visited Esme in Caras Galadhon and Hadessa learned about telepathy from Lady Galadriel for some time.

Alek and I stayed with Uncle Elrond in Rivendell and he learned more from our Uncle every time we stayed and I would go on hunts with Elladan and Elrohir.

Cleos, and I would go to Greenwood to see Thranduil and Legolas. After the Greenwood, we would carry on to Erebor to see the ruling King Under the Mountain.

Everywhere else, I travelled on my own or with Gandalf the Grey whenever we crossed paths. I soon adapted the title, The Wandering Tempest.

The only occasions I was home were birthdays, holidays, or urgent matters. Travelling and meeting new people from different places was effortless for me since my father helped me learn some different languages and the name 'Tempest' is well known and trustworthy.

Dessa found her own love with an Elf named Thallan Virstana and had a son and named him Zion. As he got older, we learned that he was incredibly strong.

Before Zion, Esme and Rumil also had a son, Iston Galahon, who is unbelievably fast.

Alek married a Human woman, Freya Dantos. Many people told him he should not fall in love with her and it would only bring heartbreak but he did not care. The love Freya and Alek had started out as love at first sight but turned to something more with time.

After they got married they had a daughter, Aurelia Tempest, who has special healing abilities where if she gets hurt, she heals almost instantly and if she touches someone who is injured or sick, they become strong and healthy again.

When Freya died, we were all crestfallen. She was a part of our family. Unsurprising to anyone, Alek took it the hardest. During that time, I decided to stay in Ezeria and help my brother and niece.

Centuries after that, The Lonely Mountain was taken from the Dwarves of Erebor and the city of Dale was destroyed by the dragon, Smaug. Most of the Dwarves that escaped found refuge in Ilex, a city in Tiseah, and helped them regain strength.

When I heard they took refuge there, I went back and helped the Dwarves settle in the city and adjust to life in a new kingdom.

They did not want to trust us and some were uncivil because we did not help them fight Smaug. We had no knowledge of the event until Thranduil told us of the attack. It was mostly resolved when they were informed we would be helping them find work and live their lives in peace.

When they were settling in, I found Thorin, who worked hard to find safety for his people. I had known him before since I visited Erebor but had not seen him for years.

Forty-five years later, King Thror, Thorin's grandfather, decided to try and retake Moria and ended up dying in battle. Thrain, Thorin's father, mysteriously went missing and was never found after that. Thorin became King and moved his people to the Blue Mountains.

Years after that, during a trip through Greenwood, I was wandering the trails with the prince, Legolas, when giant spiders attacked us. I had no idea what they were, or where they came from, Legolas didn't either.

It had gotten to a point where they had me down and used their venom on me. I blacked out and when I woke again, I was in the Greenwood healing ward with my brother, Cleos, and Aurelia around me.

They explained that I had been asleep for days and sent for Nikolas and Aurelia the moment they got me in and the only thing that could've, and did, save me was Aurelia.

After the attack, we learned one thing; Spider venom was my achilles heel, and I could've died that day.
