(Emily's POV)

After a mental count to three we both sprinted off towards the direction Bruce went. We were continuously leaping from building to building, grappling to higher ones and occassionally jumping through obstacles. Damian was much faster than me when it comes to speed so I threw a batarang to trap his cape onto the wall successfully pulling him down. I couldn't help the laugh that came out at Damian's annoyed expression. "Cheater!" I heard him shout as I jumped over the wall he was stuck to. "Street rules Rob!" I hollered back with a mocking face. Shortly after I felt something heavy wrap around my feet and trip me. I managed to protect my face with my arms but now I was grounded and all I could see was Damian's cape fly by. "Later Jay!"

Immediately I phased through the contraption and teleported about five different times to pass up Damian. I could hear a slight growl sound from behind me but I laughed it off and turned forward to find Batman standing at a ledge. I panicked and quickly skid to a stop just barely avoiding collision...until a heavy force suddenly knocked into me and ultimately hitting Bruce. "Do I need to send you two back?!" Bruce snapped at us while I absentmindedly rub my back that was roughly hit by Damian. After a moment of silence Bruce sighed in aggravation as he continued moving forward with us following.

Finally we were perched overlooking an amusement park.  Bruce was silent for a moment as if he was deep in thought when he finally spoke, "My dad used to bring me here for ballgames..sometimes afterwards we would go to the amusement park." Damian spared a glanced to his father, "And now history repeats itself." I decided to add in my own comment. "I mean under very different circumstances, but yeah in a way I suppose." Bruce had already jumped down below without us. "Let's go." Damian commanded as he followed Bruce's lead. I rolled my eyes at the boy's order but followed nonetheless. "I'm only going because of Batman..." I mumbled in annoyance, not wanting to fuel Damian's fire.

"Remember, we made a deal you two are back up and this is no game." Batman exclaimed with a stern look towards Damian and I. We both nodded to the older man and began scouting the area for any possible threats. After a moment I heard Damian speak up, "Surveillance cameras."

Batman followed Damian's observation with another statement, "Somebody's watching us." I felt goosebumps slowly form on my skin at the new found information. Damian on the other hand calmly lowered the binoculars in his hands and returned them to Bruce. "Very well, then you lead." Batman immediately weaved around different forms of cover with the two of us quietly trailing behind him to avoid detection. Eventually we all came across a vent and continued to follow Bruce.

"How did you know this was here?" Damian asked in curiosity. Bruce merely gave a side glance before answering, "I make it my business to know." I nodded my head in confirmation. "Stalker 101 Rob." Batman glared at me in irritation. "It was just a joke! Forgive me sir?" I whisper shouted as I bowed my head down. Damian scoffed and flicked the back of my head. Once again Batman, Robin, and I weaved through the hallways avoiding the guards and cameras to the best of our abilities which proved to be easy for the other two. I, on the other hand, was lucky enough to have a natural low presence due to my powers.

Eventually we came across another vent that Damian jumped through first, me second, and finally Bruce. After moving through the tunnels, me struggling with minor claustrophobia, we came across a lab where we found Langstrom.   "Dr. Langstrom." Batman's deep voice called out to the frightened doctor. With fear clearly etched in his words he spoke, "You!" Batman ignored his shriek and continued, "You have to come with us." The doctor quickly shook his head at the Bat, accidentally dropping some chemical. "No! I can't! Deathstroke has my family, he says he will kill them if I don't do what he wants!" At the mention of Deathstroke everyone seemed to listen in and Bruce continued his questioning, "Where is Deathstroke?" Dr. Langstrom simply replied with, "I-I don't know, you have to believe me." I felt bad for the man. All he wants to do is get his family back safely, he wants nothing to do with this and yet he's stuck right in the middle of it.

Suddenly a familiar voice sped past Bruce and I shouting, "I'll make you talk!" Robin charged at the doctor and I quickly teleported beside the Langstrom to hopefully stop Robin. However right as I reappeared Robin threw the doctor, which coincidently was right where I was now standing. I didn't have much time to react so once the doctor's body collided into me I went flying into the hallway with a loud crash. I groaned in pain as I rubbed my now aching head. Suddenly I heard loud footsteps approaching and quickly turn into the lab like room. Obviously we had drawn some attention to ourselves. Sighing in annoyance I quickly got to my feet and prepared to jump into the fight until I noticed Langstrom running away.

"Hey! Wait!" I shouted as I changed direction to chase the doctor. Just as I took the first two steps I felt the familiar ache in my head and whispers.

'Danger''BATS...everywhere'The doctor''Bad men''RUN'

The voices were muffled as some whispered and some screamed at me. My head felt like it was going to explode at the sudden intrusion of voices. I cradled my head and dropped to one knee. "S-stop! Get out of my head!" I screamed as I shook my head hoping it would relieve the pain. Suddenly the hallway filled with smoke that threw me into a coughing fit, hardly able to breathe. I covered my mouth once the voices subsided and tried to use the wall for support as I stood back up. "She's with them!" A voice shouted and then I felt a heavy blow to the back of my head as my vision drowned in black.

(3rd Person POV)

Batman quickly threw a smoke bomb down and escaped the scene with Robin. As the dynamic duo bolted out of the building Damian piped up, "So we're leaving Jade behind?" Bruce narrowed his eyes in confusion, in all honesty...he forgot about her. Despite her hard to miss personality it was like her presence vanished. "I'm sure she went after Langstrom, we need to hurry and catch up with her." Damian nodded his head slightly as the pair ran onto an open field.
